Great reception staff! We were welcomed with freshly made juice and brought little treats throughout our stay. Any time we asked for assistance or more water there was no issues. Great location near major walking street. Twelve minute walk to Galata Tower. The facilities were wonderful. Delightful breakfast with a variety of salads, meats, cheeses, and local dishes. We would definitely come back to stay in the future!

Great location near the famous Istiklal shopping street! Many restaurants , bars and shops nearby. The buffet was delicious with great variety. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed is a little bit hard but clean. The bathroom shower has 1/4 glass and no door so it’s quite annoying. Good hot water with complete toiletries. One night the room smelled like cigarette smoke. I assume it came from the ac (centralized). Seems that they are aware of it as they were ready with a fragrance kit. You might also hear soft noise from the nearby bars .

Loved this hotel! Location great but loved the style and our room as a medium plus was well worth the upgrade. It was large and the bathroom a massive room alone! As a hotel guest we had access to the clubhouse next door which was great and we liked the cafe area downstairs. My only frustration was the bathroom was quite dark so not ideal for make-up application and the hotel hairdryer awful (in fact it over-heated and stopped working so I had to ask for another terrible version of said same hairdryer). Never understand why a top notch hotel goes super cheap on a terrible hairdryer?! and clearly a bathroom designed by a man as terrible for trying to put make-up on !! Other than that - SUPER!

Hi Hotel is in a good location; if you are able to get a room on the higher floors then the view is amazing. The room was a reasonable size and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. Was snowed-in at Istanbul airport and had to find a room back in the city. The hotel i’d been staying in organised this for the night. I was pleasantly surprised. Manager waited til after 1am for me to arrive, the room was clean and quiet (though the city was shut down because of the snow storm), and it was perfectly located, 1 minute from istiklal cadessi. Would happily stay again.

The most racist, disrespectful and unprofessional place! I went to Istanbul for a vacation with my friend. The hotel offered us a room located at the highest floor of the hotel. The room that I booked was different than the one the receptionist gave it to me, but it was nice (it had a small sea view). From the early beginning, we encountered a problem with the elevator and we told repetitively the receptionist that we are being stuck, and he kept say okay and tamam. On the forth night, we were returning late and the elevator was stuck. We informed the receptionist and he was ”very surprised and shocked” as if it was the first time we highlighted this to him and to other staff. He suggested that he go up to our room located at the sixth floor although I mentioned that it's not feasible as I recently had a surgery in my knee and it's will cause me severe pain. He then called one of his colleagues from the other branch and they checked it, but it was in vain. It was around 2 a.m. when the receptionist told us that we have 2 options: to take another room located on the lowest floor or to wait until 7 a.m. in the morning or to stay at the lobby. I was really mad about the approach and I requested to speak with the supervisor during his shift, as I explained that both of the two options were not feasible. Then he called someone claiming that he was his supervisor and when explaining what happened. He seemed to be clueless and doesn't know anything about the hotel. Then, I asked the receptionist to give me the name and the phone number of the manager to call him from my own phone as a proof, as he was obviously playing games. I called the manager Mr.Orhan, and I told him what happened and that's not acceptable and I want to do a check-out and have a refund especially that we were staying for 10 nights. The manager asked me about my nationality and when he knew that I was Lebanese or in Turkish ”Arabça”, he told me okay tomorrow you do a check-out and you take your money and he hung up the phone. I was personally shocked by this unprofessional behavior from the owner, and my friend recalled him explaining that there's no need for such behavior especially that it's the hotel fault not ours, and he hung up the phone again. By facing such racist behavior from the owner and the receptionist who was cursing me based on my ethnicity and nationality, we didn't feel safe at all. I went very slowly on the stairs until I arrived. (it's an old hotel that is renovated, so you can imagine the height of each stair). We packed our staff and honestly speaking we didn't sleep, as we felt we might be attacked by the receptionist at any time. Around 7 a.m. in the morning, we took our baggage using the same stairs (none of the receptionist or the room service offered any help) and we waited for the manager Mr. Orhan to come. Amazing experience at this hotel. The location is great and the room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff was available 24/7 and was very helpful with arranging transportation, helping us with directions, and giving recommendations to various places. Reza was lovely! He went out of his way to help our family speak with Turkish airlines to help locate our luggage and get it to us. He also personally walked us to a great breakfast place. We had many questions and he was always patient and ready to help, all with a smile. All of the hotel staff was always available, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Lovely small hotel in the bylanes off Istiklal. Beautifully designed rooms and comfortable too. The bathroom was splendid (I took pictures because I loved the tiles). Great beds. Lots of in room storage. And I must mention that the room had great lighting too (dim, inadequate lighting in hotel rooms is a pet peeve of mine). Staff were friendly and breakfast was adequate. Another great thing about this hotel is the location. It's surrounded by streets filled with local book shops, art galleries, small indie artists, designers and handmade stores. Absolutely enjoyed discovering and shopping from these hidden gems. It's also walkable to some great restaurants (like Nicole). High street shopping from the likes of Zara etc. are also just a few minutes away on Istiklal street. The hotel is also surrounded by clubs and bars which play music till late, so probably best to keep this in mind and ask for a quieter room. Another thing to note is that the street the hotel is on and the surrounding streets are all on narrow steep slopes, a bit tricky to navigate after a few drinks in the evening (as I discovered), Most taxis will also drop you close-ish but not quite near the hotel because of this too. Overall though, these negatives are very manageable and didn't put us off. Would stay here again!

We reserved 3 rooms 402/302/202 on sep13 to 18..rooms are very clean comfortable Bedroom,separate living room open to full kitchen( stove,refrigerator,sink cabinet,cookware,dishes,glasses) nice size tv in LR,very clean with good size bathroom,,over all, all three rooms where very clean and very big bedroom has balcony,LR also with balcony..location..2 minute walking to ISTIKLAL street,yes 2 min. The front desk personnel where ABOVE excellent and friendly,even the old man In the front desk help us with luggage and refuse to take our tips…honesty and good services is their policy….one day we went out from 9am till 8pm and left our Safety Box open with over $1000 and credit 5 cards and 2 passports ,when we came back Nothing was missing not even small changes we left it ,where still their, the cleaning lady very friendly and honest..over all the room where excellent/front desk professionals and very very helpful,friendly,location was good..if we go back will Stay their again.
