Disgusting, revolting, greedy. The dirtiest place I ever stayed at. The room was completely filthy: the sheets were old, had stains and were pilling and covered in black hair, the whole bed! The toilet had "sanitized" ribbon on it, but it was very clear that the whole bathroom has not been cleaned for a long time: pee stains on the toilet, poop stains in the toilet, the walls were covered in hair and stains, the toothbrush glass was probably not cleaned for months, everything was just filthy. Same goes for the room: other than the bed, the curtains were stained as well, tea cups grimy, the extra blanket/throw had snot in it, the electrical outlets are plain unsafe - falling out of the wals. The view is to a dump and the whole street is a dump itself. I complained to the reception right away, however I was told to change the sheets myself 'cause he can't leave his workplace and was given another set of stained and hairy sheets. I tried to change hotels immediately then, but it was after midnight and was unfortunately impossible. I was forced to stay the night, so I demanded to pick the sheets myself at least and I attest that every single sheet is stained and hairy as I have been through their linen closet and barely found something a little less revolting than the rest. So how this so-called 'hotel' has such high reviews is beyond me, since all the guests must have slept on stained hairy sheets. In the morning presumably a manager (he didn't introduce himself) came to our room and both him and the night manager were completely unapologetic and said that the sheets were fine, that I am too picky, that it's not their fault, it's how they receive the sheets from the laundry that every other hotel in the area uses as well. They did not bother to apologize or comment on every other filthy part of the room. Rather, they acted as if expecting a clean room and sheets and decent service out of a 4 star hotel is somehow too much to ask. I, of course, promptly moved out to another hotel after the night in hell that I spent there against my will. The hotel, however, happily collected the money for all 3 nights that I booked and refuses to refund even the 2 nights that I did not stay there saying that it's their policy that customers should report problems upon moving in, even though it's what I did, it's documented in trip com, trip com did contact them when I moved in about my complaints as well. Do not be fooled, it's not a 4 stat hotel, it's a filthy scamming guesthouse, choose where you stay wisely.

A perfect one-night stay! The location is excellent, and the hotel is spotless. I loved the atmosphere of this historic building, especially the high wooden ceilings. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

A small hotel near Taksim Square. Recommended for travelers who need just a place to crash. Within a walking distance from many attractions in the new town.

Stayed 3 nights in this cozy hotel with friends, pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the hotel. Prime location, thus limited street parking but a 5 mins walk to Taksim square. Bathroom was quite small in comparison to the massive room as the door would block the toilet seat. Friendly English-speaking host, would recommend!

The room is good but a little small than I expected but it is clean. And the balcony it is good as well but small. You can have chill time on the balcony while sipping your coffee or having a smoke there while looking for the busy street. Nearby and accessible to transportation taxi, bus going to the airport, markets, resto bar, pub, cafe and the tourist attraction. Taksim Square, galata tour, Kabatas tramvay station going to mosque attractions and all. ☺️

The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless and well-maintained. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return

The shower was leaking and the bathroom was not cleaned properly.

Good hotel. Close to the metro. Everything you need is there. I really liked the interior. Very nice and friendly staff. The bathroom needs a little renovation, but it's not critical. I'm happy with everything.

This hotel is defo a come back too. Hotel is in a perfect location, about 5/10 min walk to Taksim square plus hundreds of shops to walk down or a tram ride if you can’t be bothered to walk. Hotel was clean and the staff are so friendly, will do anything for you if you need anything, cleaned our room and we didn’t even ask which was a lovely thought. Always happy and smiling and you can have a laugh with them, they will help you with anything you need from travelling to different places, giving you local info, always polite. The room was fantastic, spacious, with a great little balcony that has a lovely little view of the Main road but still lovely to look out. Me and hubby will definitely come back to this hotel as we absolutely enjoyed our stay with no problems. Thank you to all the staff who were about during our stay as you made us feel very welcome. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's very convenient to stay here in Roco Hotel. It takes only 5minutes to walk to the airport shuttle bus stop. And the host is very nice and helpful. Also the room is beautiful and big. The air conditioner works perfectly. I think it's a good hotel. 交通太方便啦！距离机场大巴步行五分钟就能到达。主人很热情很友善。房间又大又漂亮又干净。空调给力。距离塔克西姆广场近，地铁公交都有，出行非常方便。不错的选择

Great location with multiple bus routes and AirPort Express in close proximity. Impeccable service - reception was very attentive and welcoming. The room had a marvellous view of the city. Will absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s visiting the city! 11/10!

I stayed here for five nights, the location is convenient because it is near Taksim Square, but you have to be careful because the hotel sign is very small and people around here do not know this hotel. If you do not have Google Maps, you may not be able to find the hotel. I stayed during the winter, the hotel was not warm because the heater. During the winter, the hotel was not warm because the heater in the hotel or in the room could not adjust the room temperature to be warm, but if you stay during the hot season, you will like this room very much. There is a cleaning service, the room is cleaned every day, the staff is friendly and kind. The price is not cheap and not expensive, but the room is not soundproof, and if there are guests staying above or next to you, you will hear their footsteps, which is not very peaceful. The hotel has an elevator, which makes it convenient ... to go up and down. You may have to make a good decision, but in terms of convenience, I think it is very good.

The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. The staff speak excellent English and are very attentive to your needs, making you feel right at home. For the price, it offers great value for money.
