Hotel berhampiran Doing Dishes, Jacksonville

We just got to the TownePlace suites in Jacksonville Butler Boulevard today For a one night stay and when we first got to this hotel, it looked very nice and it was in a great location when we checked in the lady was very nice and accommodating. She told us about when breakfast was and Told us about the Wi-Fi we booked A studio King room for the stay, but because my mom is a Marriot Bonvoy platinum elite member, we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite when we got into our room we noticed that it was a handicap room and we were fine with it because of how big it is she also told us that they were sold out of the other two bedroom suites for the night, which is fine but when we got into the room, the room looks so spacious everything is so organized And the beds are very comfortable, and even the living room is nice as well, but overall, this is a great hotel and I do want to say a special thanks to the staff and the housekeeping team who go above and beyond to clean the rooms and expedite the check-in process. We are gonna try the breakfast tomorrow to see how it goes, but in the meantime, this is a great hotel to stay in and I do recommend this hotel. Thank you

Room is okay . I like the bathroom it’s really nice and the staff is nice they also serve us breakfast. Booking was not fast

The Hotel is need of a face lift. Smells old , old carpet. Trying to play off Full size beds for queen. I sell mattresses and I know the difference. Would not want to stay at that location again. Oh, 1-elevator it was very old. You should do better for that location. It’s reminded me of an Extended Stay place.

Hotel check in and out process was easy and fast, overall a nice weekend stay, hotel was quiet. A few negative things were the hallways smelt like straight cigarette smoke, poor shower water pressure and TV came with no type of entertainment only cable shows.

I stayed here on March the 9th and checked out on the 10th. When I checked in at the late night window I was told by the night person Victoria that I could park anywhere on the property she said it didn't matter it would be okay that there would be somebody coming around at 5:00 a.m. and it wasn't a problem so I parked in a part of the parking lot that I thought would be okay but that was not the case. The next morning I get up about 6:11 and I decide to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee so when I get downstairs I'm looking around trying to find my car I do not find it so I walked the property three times looking for it and I was not able to locate it so I go inside get a cup of coffee nothing is said to me whatsoever and I leave then I decide to come back about 45 minutes later for another cup of coffee go up to the front desk and ask Victoria what happened to my car she said it was towed. It's funny how she was right on cue to tell me what happened to it but I had been down there prior and nothing was said to me. I was given the number to ASAP and I called them lo and behold they told my car. I got with the manager Larry the following morning and he said he would look into who had the authorization to tow my car so I went back a couple of days later talked to Larry again and I was given the type of body language as if he didn't care and I didn't appreciate that as a customer. Because of Victoria's stupidity and I find her to be a very poor quality of employee for having my car towed because I feel like I was railroaded in being told that it was okay to park it where I did. Quite honestly I think you need to look for another overnight person that is more honest with the customers because her job quality leaves a lot to be desired. As far as the manager Larry goes I find it very unprofessional for him to not even compensate or show me any type of consideration because of what happened because it was not my fault it was an employee's fault but I will say this that was the first and last time I will ever stay at this hotel and I will be telling all of my friends about this establishment.

Visiting from tampa to seek shelter from hurricane and the staff couldn’t have been better. Property underwent a total remodel and looks great. Matt at the front desk was very helpful and Elvie in the lounge made us feel like at home. Huge plus they don’t charge for parking

Stayed here for a wedding. This had to be the worst stay I have had in years by far. The rooms were dingy. When the light reflected on the doors you could see all kinds of grime and handprints. The same with the furniture. Every time the toilet flushed it vibrated and sounded like it was going to explode. The beds were hard and to top it off the hotel is doing renovations. When we got there there on a Friday there was nonstop drilling and jackhammering above our heads. Stopped for the evening but begin at 10 AM on Saturday all day long. The noise got so loud that we had to go downstairs to the lobby just be able to talk to each other. Forget about trying to take a nap and get some rest. To add insult to injury, the rooms were not cheap at $250 a night. Plus taxes and $20 a day for parking. Breakfast was not included and was $16 per person for the buffet. Extremely overpriced when you can go down the street to Panera bread and eat better food for less than that. The people were nice and the bartender was nice which is why I gave it a 2. Do better Hilton!!!! I have a video of the drilling sound in our room But it wouldn’t let me add it.
