Red Roof Inn Jacksonville - Cruise Port

I had a good stay at red roof inn it was not a lot of people outside being loud and the manager Mrs Carla is very respectful she is a great improvement to the property itself! She definitely deserves a raise hands down! The young lady Ms Carla was very helpful she gave me an upgrade on my room helped find a remote for our tv and she also got an extra pillow for my wife and helped us find some good seafood. The rooms need a little work but the people working there makes the stay worth it. I will definitely be back !!

I had the best experience from the time I checked in with Alex at the front desk, she was very helpful with my needs and very knowledgeable about local vendors. I have a pet so they are great with having pets. The room was clean and comfortable had a desk and plenty of room. I will definitely be back soon.

Stayed here other night with my children and overheard a lady complain about my kids crying. I have a newborn and just my son was crying was rude and insensitive. I travel with my kids all the time. The staff here is great. Don’t have nothing negative to say. Yes the hallways need to be clean better, housekeeping needs to clean a little bit better. I ask for clean linen and the gentleman just looked at me like I said something foreign. Went downstairs later that night and ask the night clerk for clean linen and she gave me clean linen and even put them on the bed for me. I can’t remember her name but she works at night. I offer her a tip and she refused but ask for review. This is for her and the other lady that work in the morning. They have done a great job.

What kind of establishment well known as red roof inn allowed a security to harass and called me and my nephews the n-word. And the man who also worked that Saturday night also refer to us a n-word. Security told us we had to leave we roof doesn’t allowed visitors and had the nerve to call us n-word. That discrimination at its finest. No human being should be talked to or feel less of a person in this day and age. I will not stop until justice is prevail.

I had a great stay at the red roof with ms.Alex she does her job very well and makes my stay feel very comfortable me bd my husbad had a great stay and love the view of the hotel she talk to the customers with much respect

I am confused about the differing reviews on this with people either rating this as the very best or the very worst with no middle of the road reviews. We arrived after dark and the parking lot made us nervous because people were mulling around like they had no place to go. The lady who checked us in was very nice and I thought maybe the hotel was just old. We went to the door next to the office to go to our rooms and there was trash on the steps along with radios and cigarettes like people were hanging out in the hallways. Just wanted to get to our room. Entered the room and it smelled bad. Starting with bathroom, there was a wad of hair in the unflushed toilet???? The towels and washcloths looked as though they had not been washed but just re-folded. The floor was dirty and the sheets were stained. There was even graffiti on the walls where someone had written their name. It was late and we had nowhere else to go. We slept fully clothed on top of the blanket. There was mold in the room along with the lamp being rusty. If I was not with my husband I would have been very afraid.

Hotel has roaches, i was put in a room different from what i booked online, yesterday the front desk tried to charge me a different rate than I’d been paying per th reservation is been reserving all week. Stating I’m in an upgraded room but i didn’t put myself in the room and y’all been honoring my reservation prices. 8/3/2022 rate was $53 online and i was charged a different rate. This hotel has roaches really bad in the upgraded rooms AC unit fall apart . Room flooded no accommodations for the guests who had water in their rooms. I won’t stay here again.

Great stay customer service was excellent front desk help is phenomenal and very courteous I will be staying again and it was very affordable one of the best stays I've had at red roof in Jacksonville Florida

I just got off the boat. The sheets were clean the staff is fantastic and I love it here!! Housekeeping comes everyday and change my sheets and fluff my pillows. I wish there were benches for me smoke. But overall it’s great stay!
