Great room with comfortable bed and well function bathroom with basic amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste also a soap dispenser. The hotel itself is next to the shopping center (it's literally inside the mall) so any kind of facilities like supermarket, atm, restaurant/cafe are east to find. Just one feedback for the room is there's a lot of glitches in every tv channel, so it's quite bothering. Other than that, this is a solid budget hotel with good location and any supporting facilities.

Meh hotel, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
The room layout is weird, especially the shower and toilet cubicle, I don't understand why they can't just build a normal shower area.
Aircond wasn't cool either, and the noise from the main street is annoying. In front of the hotel, every night, there's this people selling stuff gathering crowds which make access to the hotel feel a bit unsafe due to the crowd.
In the end, it's a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for.

My recent double stay at Citadines Gatot Subroto Jakarta presented a contrasting experience, showcasing the evolution of this newly-opened hotel. The initial stay left much to be desired, with glitches here and there. Given the newness of the establishment, I had expected a seamless experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, the silver lining emerged during my second stay, transforming my perception. The staff at Citadines Gatot Subroto proved to be the game-changer. During my second visit, their responsiveness and helpfulness were outstanding. This positive shift significantly contributed to the improvement in my overall experience. A delightful surprise awaited me as my room was upgraded to the next category, providing a more spacious environment. The room itself was equipped with functional facilities, including a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and more. This thoughtful inclusion enhanced the convenience and comfort of my stay. In summary, Citadines Gatot Subroto Jakarta has undergone a positive transformation. While the initial glitches were a setback, the attentive staff and upgraded accommodations during my second stay redeemed the overall experience. As this newly-opened hotel continues to refine its operations, I anticipate even greater things in the future. Recommended for those who value helpful staff and functional amenities in a growing establishment.

You may find this humble hotel serves a very nice hospitality. This hotel location is easy to reach. The receptionist promptly assists us on check in and out. The room is renovated, comfort, clean and spacious. Special touch in the room while you check in; the praying corner, the barcode for ordering room service, the welcoming arrangement (art towel, fruit, special printed welcoming note with guest picture). Love the view from the room. Food and beverages served in restaurant. The taste is so authentic homey Minang food and Chinese food – all tasty. You may find the various dishes. All Halal food and beverages. Love the bubur sumsum (rice flour porridge served with palm sugar), lontong sayur (rice cake with curry veggie soup). You will get lucky, when this hotel holds a special event, such as inviting the Indonesia Master Chef who live cooks in front of the guest. This hotel also has the masjid for pray, and 2 halls for meeting or special event.

Actually I choose this apartment because it's near Halim Airport so it can make me easy to go to airport. And this apartment is near the central district of Jakarta. I stayed on 16 February 2023, the first thing I liked was the fast checkin process and the staff was very friendly. The thing that I regret is after I checked-in and wanted to order some room service and it took so much time (very difficult to contact room service). After 15 minutes try to reached the room service and finally assisted by reception. After ordering, the food took so long to come to the room (more than 1 hour) and I had to go down to reception to make sure whether the food will be delivered or not. unfortunately when I approached the girl reception, she said the food would be delivered and I immediately went back to the room. Even when in the room there was no apology or anything. I'd better order via Gojek or Grab huh. Apart from that, at that time in room 717 one of the lights in the bedroom were also off and the soap in the bathroom was leaking, so you have to be careful if you want to go to the bathroom. Last but not least, there's no one of you who used a name tag, so I cant recognize each of you. Not highly recommended.

VVareta GianiSaya tinggal di suite satu bilik tidur. Bilik ini adalah 10 yang sempurna untuk saya. Ia mempunyai 2 televisyen, tab mandi, pantri, microwave, seterika dan papan seterika, peti deposit keselamatan, peti sejuk kecil. Bilik ini sangat unik kerana katil terletak di tengah-tengah bilik yang menghadap tingkap tirai dengan pemandangan bandar. Walau bagaimanapun, saya tidak mencuba sarapan pagi dan kolam renang. Menurut penyambut tetamu, Hotel ini juga menggunakan 50% penghunian maks dan polisi pertukaran bilik semasa wabak oleh itu kami tinggal di bilik yang kosong pada hari sebelumnya.

NNugraha YudhaLayanan yang sangat baik dari pihak pengurusan Ciputra Hotel, pada mulanya kami tidak dapat memenuhi permintaan awal iaitu connecting and twin kerana musim perayaan Aidilfitri yang tinggi, namun pihak pengurusan Ciputra memberikan kami pujian yang merupakan win win solution dan kami amat menghargai dan berpuas hati dengan perkhidmatan yang diberikan.
Kami sentiasa mengunjungi hotel ini, kemudahan yang disediakan sangat mengagumkan, dari lokasi yang strategik di Jakarta, kedudukan yang berdekatan dengan pusat membeli-belah yang sangat digemari oleh kanak-kanak, kolam renang yang besar, selamat untuk kanak-kanak, dan sejuk pada waktu petang, dan kebanyakannya harga mampu milik.

PPengguna TetamuWe like having stay-cations in many hotels all around which we are sometimes interested in. My husband is used to drinking a lot of mineral water daily. That's a good benefit for his health, but it was really problematic this time as we didn't find mineral water easily, nor access to it free of charge at any time, as we would have liked to have had in the Yuan Garden Pasar Baru hotel. It's a bit embarrassing for me as the hotel employee told him not to take a lot of mineral water nor to fill many bottles after the breakfast buffet time. My husband insisted on filling his bottles with mineral water for free from the hotel in the evening.
My husband has money. But he doesn't want to use his money only for mineral water in the hotel. We had been to Kristal hotel, Ayaka suites and FM7 hotel, and interestingly they had mineral water available for the guests for free at any time we needed it. Maybe Yuan Garden Pasar Baru hotel can help by upgrading their service next time with this mineral water availability. I don't feel I want to have a stay-cation in that hotel again, as my husband is a bit demanding/complicated in relation to mineral water to drink. It's really embarrassing for me. We will go to Europe this coming August, God willing. He can drink from the tap as much water as he wants. Hehehe, sorry about my husband being so demanding/a bit complicated.
The receptionist was very helpful.
We chose a non-smoking room. The receptionist gave us a non-smoking room, on the 29th floor, with a good view. I have a sensitive sense of smell. As soon as the room door was opened, instantly I felt unwell. The room smelled of smoke. Somebody must have been smoking in the room, and the smoke attached itself to the room walls. The windows are sealed, and so they can't be opened, and the air-conditioning takes time to cool down the room. My body felt unwell, and I had fever instantly. I was feeling much better before I entered the room. We asked for another non-smoking room, a 17th floor room. Just like ”sweet 17”, hopefully the room would be nice, exactly as we were expecting it to be.
The receptionist gave us room 1705. The room is much smaller, with a small window, and not an interesting view, but it clearly had no smokey smell. It was a good clean room. I'd rather have a bad view, a small room, with clean air, than have a good view, a big room, with bad air. I don't want to be sick, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic. We liked the room for the good clean air.
Next, we had a problem again.
We had a rest after breakfast during the day time, and there was banging, hard knocking, repetitively, which happened from about noon till late afternoon, 4pm.
I called reception about the noise, and they heard it too, through the phone, while I was talking to them. They said that there were repairs being done on the lift, and they were sorry about it. Afterwards, there was no more banging noise anymore. But after a while, the noise came back again, until late afternoon. My husband called reception again, and we decided to change the room. Afterwards, the hard knocking stopped again, and after some time, we decided to cancel the room change. At 5pm, we went out of the room for some swimming.
It's very challenging . . . Not really easy to stay in the Yuan Garden Pasar Baru hotel . . . But, the plus is . . . the food, as we noticed the outstanding reviews for the food buffet before we booked the room. We liked the food, though I had a stomach ache for hours after breakfast . . . guess I ate too much squid . . . Hehehe.
I still liked the food . . . thumbs up for the food. Extraordinary food.

PPengguna TetamuService was top-notch! From concierge to housekeeping, every service point was exceptional! Commendable mention goes to Arsyad from Front Desk who assisted us at every turn... From helping us sort out an area to meet our Local team to helping us with our odd requests... He did it all with a smile and made us feel welcome and safe with his warm personality... The 17th floor Housekeeping from May 28 to June 2nd was also incredibly attentive... My room was always how I wanted it without my need to inform them... Property itself is clean, well-maintained, and they were careful with the sanitising as we exit the pandemic... Unfortunately it misses on 5 star as there was no room service available for when we were hungry and weren't wanting to Grab food... Otherwise it is truly hard to fault this property... Keep up the 5* service!

Breakfast has a huge range of options both local, Asian and Western but would be nice with a basic self service coffee and juice bar also. Staff overall nice and helpful. PPengguna TetamuBertemu dengan beberapa rakan Indonesia di sana untuk hujung minggu - cuba mendaftar masuk pada 1.30 petang tetapi mendapat kuliah daripada penyambut tetamu pada masa daftar masuk pada pukul 2 petang-akhirnya mendapat 2 pangsapuri katil selepas 2.30 petang-sekian untuk kuliahnya! Suite di tingkat tinggi 3508? sangat bagus-luas dan bersih -dapur serba lengkap -tempat tidur dsb. sangat baik-tuala lama dan usang -pemandangan hebat -stesen tv hebat -cuba membuka balkoni tetapi rakan Indonesia saya diberitahu deposit 250000 -tidak pasti apa yang berlaku tetapi balkoni tidak pernah dibuka-mengakibatkan apabila saya menggunakan ketuhar penggera kebakaran berbunyi dan keselamatan terpaksa datang bagaimanapun. Sarapan pagi pelbagai jenis tetapi berkualiti sangat - croissant adalah basi kedua-dua hari Saya bersarapan dan beberapa makanan lain agak cerdik (telur dadar dimasak terlebih dahulu dan bukannya untuk dipesan) tetapi restoran dipesan dengan baik mudah untuk mendapatkan meja dan lain-lain. Ada masalah hari lepas di mana saya sebagai pemegang kunci utama terpaksa turun untuk menyelesaikan masalah dengan dua sarapan tambahan (tidak bercadang untuk bersarapan dan rakan-rakan Indonesia saya terpaksa menunggu di depan pintu)-tidak pasti mengapa apabila penerimaan tetamu mempunyai deposit -tetapi telah diselesaikan. Yang mengatakan semua kakitangan yang kami temui adalah hebat - malah penyambut tetamu semasa daftar masuk dan semua orang benar-benar . Keseluruhan tempat yang bagus - pusat membeli-belah di seberang jalan Plaza Semangi kelihatan ditutup tetapi terdapat pasar raya di tingkat bawah tanah yang agak bagus - Pusat membeli-belah Pacific Place kira-kira 15 minit berjalan kaki melintasi jejantas di jalan utama-tetapi teksi mudah dicari dan dua kedai serbaneka kecil di kompleks Hotel. Adakah saya akan tinggal lagi -jika diri saya ya -tetapi rakan-rakan Indonesia saya tidak terkesan dengan ditahan di pintu restoran seperti penjenayah-walaupun isu telah diselesaikan meninggalkan rasa tidak enak di mulut mereka. Kami biasanya tinggal di pusat bandar NYE dan ini adalah larian atrium-kami akan mencari di tempat lain.

Foodplates left outside of the room for too many hours at daytime (at least 5 hours) while the dirty sheets just a couple of hours.
Not hygenic cleaned room. Shower and bedroom had too much dirt that you can remove with your fingers. Also some old small hairs.
The floor carpet in the second building is very in need for a replacement.
I felt unease with a wedding that was there. Instead of escorting me past it or tell me another route in advance, i had to ask for what is allowed.
Later i tried to leave my room, but they were doing photoshoots. Again i asked for a different way out, but they told me i had to just wait. Luckily it didn't take hours for them to finish.
A loud music band was practicing earlier then 7 am already i think. Because i went for breakfast at 7 am.
I asked explicitly if the massage specialist were schools and had knowledge of all the muscle names, insertions and origos and know how all muscles were alligned. I was reassured. But the 30 minutes cheap massage i got (just 125.000 , paid 150.000) was horrible. The i think 30+ woman told me she hardly spoke English but had training at the hotel. But when experiencing it, i saw no knowledge at all of the basics of how to massage. Not feel the tissue below and respond, or to start with big hand surface, slowly go to kneeding and then smaller more intensive finger massage. When she finished she pointed at my **** later. So ofcourse these were not massage women, but just *********** for ******** with no massageskills at all. (I studied massage for 2 years in the past during a physical therapy university program).
Is it worth the price? I paid around 48 euros, including breakfast for 1 weekendnight. I think a fair price would be 20 to 25 or upgrade quality.
But the staff is really helpfull and always willing to assist in any way. For this i still had a good feeling about the place. Even received a personal call that the dining area was open till 22:00 and a live band was there??? I came in too late and they still knew my Roomnumber🤣. I also loved the interior design, but all needs to have a renovation or upgrade. Hopefully next time no weddings or loud wake up music
