Jungdam

The host is unresponsive. I had the Hanok stay booked for one night, it was available for the rest of the week. I was supposed to get there from Gyeonju-Do but I fell ill in Busan. I tried to reach the host through email, watsapp, Kakao Talk and Agoda customer service to change my date by one day. Even though the room was available, the host did not respond through any of the platforms. I wrote in Korean to make it easy to understand but I feel, this is downright rude to not respond to your guests and very irresponsible. I would not recommend this place or the host.

This was my favourite of all the places I stayed during my recent 10-day trip to Korea! (Even though I actually had the worst night's sleep here as the mattress pad was exceptionally thin, more so than other hanoks I stayed at.) The host was so lovely and welcoming, and the location is just perfect, right in the heart of the hanok village; considering this, it's amazingly quiet at night. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the best surprise of all was the amazing breakfast freshly prepared and delivered to my room just before 8am! That was a real treat. Incredible value, and a truly memorable experience.
