Online booking fraud......different rates when you are finally at the reception for your booked stay. Check in denied at 9:30 PM on online rates dispute. Check in staff at reception came out very rude while checking my parents in. Booking was made online and was confirmed with the hotel staff(on Phone) in terms of dates, type of room, number of guests and inclusivity of breakfast. It was confirmed according to the voucher received online but when my parents reached hotel for check in, the hotel manager denied check in, mentioning the 'number of guests' in his records were not right. It was ''1'' instead of 2. He did not respect the online voucher and denied to put in any efforts from his side to find out what was wrong. Did not buzz on online website's request not my request. Clearly an opportunity to make more money was seen, when the guest were already at door step at 9:30 PM. This is not expected from a reputed hotel especially after confirming the details of the booking on phone. Unfortunately the call was not recorded from my side. Even if there was any issues with the booking generally hotels handle it with maturity and respect. Making elderly people stand at reception over few hundreds rupees dispute(which were later paid) after having a confirmed booking is not civil.
