It's really clean and the room really nice. I like bathroom. The location is really good.

Our stay at Rezen Retreat-Four Seasons, located just a 5-minute walk from the Jiuzhaigou Valley entrance, was a blend of positives and areas needing improvement. The Japanese-style room with floor heating initially felt elegant and cozy. However, the experience was overshadowed by some challenges. We noticed stains on the toilet bowl upon check-in, which indicated that cleaning could have been more thorough. Although housekeeping responded quickly, the cleaner only wiped the surface, leaving room for improvement in addressing the issue. Later in the evening, the heater malfunctioned as temperatures outside dropped to -2°C. While the room’s floor heating was a thoughtful addition, it didn’t compensate for the lack of overall heating. When we requested a room change, the hotel declined and instead sent a technician to address the issue. While the problem was resolved, it meant waiting in discomfort, which could have been avoided with better preparation and more focus on guest convenience. The hotel’s location and room design are definite strengths, but attention to maintenance and cleanliness would significantly enhance the guest experience. With some improvements, this hotel could truly match its potential. For now, guests may want to manage expectations when staying here.

Location is convenient and room is pretty clean and new. However, we were misled by the hotel name, the hot spring is not real hot spring, it’s just jacuzzi…although they change water every time, the tub is still dirty, my back is full of sands afterwards…..and the water is not hot enough. Service is not adequate and professional enough.

Hotel is conveniently located near Jiuzhaigou National Park, within less than 10 min walking distant to park entrance. It is also near to other eateries. The breakfast at the cafe is good enough for us to get a good start for the day. Good view to the National Park. Heated flooring is great.

Five minutes walk to Jiuzhaigou gate. Good breakfast. Staffs cannot speak English but they used translator equipment which I have never seen at any hotel before, that’s quite brilliant! It showed their adaptation in communication with foreigners.

Best location to the Jiuzhaigou park. However, you have to pay extra if you want to use the hot spring and it is not even natural. So the name of the hotel is a bit misleading .

Amazing location near the entry to the park. Really nice as you will be totally tired when you exit the park. The park is really pretty but very crowded and alot of walking. Hotel was nice to provide jacuzzi spa after a long

Very close to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance! The hotel also allowed me to check in early which was nice. However the spas were not available for use and we experienced an extended power outage during the stay.

Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to arrange for a car pick up as I am traveling with kids. The hotel requested me to let them know one day prior to arrival so that I can remind them about it. Is this how a hotel operates for a customer to remind them about their job? I called the hotel one day prior and a lady answered the call rudely (loud and tone of voice) telling me that I was bothering her. Upon arriving at the hotel at 430pm, there is no electricity in the hotel, meaning that there is no light in the lobby and the room, no heater and it is extremely cold outside, no hot shower, and the worst part is that we can't even flush the toilet as it is electronic. Despite that, we understand the hotel situation and proceed to go out for dinner, upon returning back at 8pm, there isn't any electricity restored yet. Although the hotel explanation is that the electricity caused the whole area to blackout, but the hotel / shops next door powering up with the generator and respond to crisis much efficient than this hotel. More and more guests are impatient with the situation, as everyone is staying in the lobby, the hotel receptionist keeps giving the false promise. Furthermore, the hotel features a hot spring but we are not able to use it due to the power restrictions only till the second night. After escalating my feedback to trip.com, the hotel staff came to my room and she mentioned that I turn on the heater to maximum level, it won't work and I should lower down for it to work. What kind of logic is that? I then turn on the hot shower, and she said that no one else is complaining about the hot water except my room, and commented that it is 50c. She was trying to make fun of the situation, when I challenged her to bring a thermometer to check on the hot water, she basically just ran away. No apology rather just came to reprimand the guest. We arranged a car with the hotel for peace of mind, safety etc. yet the driver forcefully brought us to buy things! Stay away

Great location,just less than 10 mins walk to Jiuzhaigou valley entrance and also close to many restaurants,bus stop. I love the shampoo and shower gel at the hotel.

1) Reception closes after 12am which makes enquiries cumbersome if you don’t have a china mobile. 2) Only 1 washing machine and dryer to accommodate the whole hotel needs. 3) Hot Spring at the hotel only opens from 5pm to 9pm and advance booking of 30 mins have to be made which makes planning difficult 4) Location is prime as it need to the valley park but beware that you will be getting a lot of noise pollution from both cars and human traffic. The lack of city planning causes a lot of congestion.
