The layout & feel of the property is beautiful.We went on 15th of Aug 24 & it rained almost full day.We spent full day at the property & enjoyed it immensely. We could see many peacocks in the lush green campus.Beautiful horses are bred in the campus.The lake is Mesmerising.The swimming pool is set in beautiful surrounding.Candle light dinner at kebab corner was a great experience too.It has a beautiful set up & great vibes.The staff & service was excellent,

도미토리 치고는 가격대가 있다고 생각했지만, 최대 4인 숙소였기 때문에 동행자가 많다면 괜찮은 선택일것 같습니다. 그게아니라면 굳이 도미토리보다는 싱글룸, 더블룸이 좋은 선택일것 같아요. 대표적으로 가볼만한 곳인 특이한 양식의 우물, 시계탑, 메랑가르 포르, 파체티아 힐, 김모한 식당 등 걸어서 최대 20분정도? 거리 였습니다. 워낙 성곽주변에 저렴한 숙소들이 많긴 하지만 이곳도 매력있는 숙소입니다.(숙소 문만 사진찍고 침대를 못찍음ㅠㅠ 이층침대 두개가 벽면에 길게 붙어있고, 화장실 한개가 있었습니다. 따뜻한 물은 엄청 잘 나왔고 에어컨도 빵빵하니 잘나옴, 둘이 사용해서 널널했지만 넷이 사용하면 조금 좁을 수도 있겠다고 느낌)

For the price i paid the room and bathroom were an excellent size. This being the 26 hotel i have stayed in the last 4 months. And the water was hot. Staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast options not great but i wasn't here for the food. Great rooftop views, food options limited. If they got this right the place would be brilliant. Location very good.

You never quite know what you may be getting when you stay at a small, locally owned hotel. Sure, you can read reviews and look at pictures, but you never *really* know until you get there. I’ll get into the hotel itself in a moment, but the main benefit this place has going for it are its owners. They are kind and chatty, and aren’t just concerned about you having a good stay at their hotel, but a good stay in their city. They’re more than happy to sit and talk about where you should go, and are very interested in helping you understand the culture of the place you’re in. One of the owners said he’d come and sit with me at the restaurant on the roof while I ate, and he did. He even offered to go walking around one of the neighborhoods with me. I cannot emphasize how important this is. When you’re in a place like India for the first time, it’s absolutely vital that you have helpful people to lean on a bit. I don’t mean that in an “India is dangerous” kind of way, but in an “India can be completely confusing and difficult to comprehend” way. I would regularly come back with questions about things I saw while wandering, and not only were the owners willing to answer them, but they seemed genuinely excited by the opportunity to help me understand the culture of their city and their country. As for the hotel itself, it’s clean and comfortable. One thing you have to understand is that this is an old building, in the old part of the city — and those are GOOD things. Yes, there are more “western” style hotels in newer buildings in Jodhpur. There’s even one that’s under the Marriott umbrella. But if you want to stay at a Marriott, you can do that at home. And more importantly, those hotels are not in the old city, and that’s where you’re going to be spending your time. The Kings Retreat is right in the midst of it, and it was helpful to just be able to spend 15 minutes walking back to the room to take a shower or rest for a bit. As I said, this is an old building. It’s what’s called a “haveli” — typically an old mansion with a central courtyard you’ll find in many cities in India. So yes, there are some quirks like old doors or having to turn on a water heater and wait a few minutes before you take a shower. To me, this is all part of the experience. And the owners have done a great job with modernizing the building. I’m sure there’s a lot of regulations when it comes to making changes to a historic property, and I was a bit concerned at first when I walked into the room and found it hot — but let me tell you, that air conditioner is ice cold and blows like a tornado if you want it to. Yes, you’ll probably have to switch into a tuk-tuk with your luggage when you get close to the building, as the streets are quite narrow. I promise you, this is totally fine and normal. And yes, there’s no elevator, since this is an old building. But I was upstairs and it made no difference. There’s a guy there who’s very used to carrying bags up the steps.

Hospitality service was far better than expected. Staff behaviour was professional and polite. Room was as per std. As in photos and spacious, hygiene and roof top view was very mesmerizing as this hotel is situated on foothills of mehrangarh fort, night light view of city visible from rooftop as it is very near to fort. This hotel is at walking distance from the famous ghantaghar of jodhpur ( clock tower) and turji ka jhalara ( step well). Food was good. And check in- out was hassle-free. Recommended for solo and couple travelers

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF & MANAGEMENT of this HOTEL. I had booked two Superior Class Rooms in this Hotel for my family(incl. Sr. Citizen Parents, 1.5 and 5 year old kids) through Goibibo website on 9th Nov, 2023 and got booking confirmation on same day. Duration of Stay was between 28th & 29th Nov. I was travelling from Jaipur to Jodhpur on 28th Nov and I called to this Hotel at around 12:30 PM to inform that I am travelling and will check in late evening and the receptionist said OK. We reached at Hotel Reception around 8:30 PM in and told receptionist about my booking, he said rooms will be ready in 10 minutes and asked us to wait. After few minutes, another staff member came there and he informed us that due to some electricity issue rooms are not available at their Hotel and they have made rooms available at another Hotel(Named as Megh Niwas or Clarks Inn) which is 1 to 1.5 km away. We then moved to that Hotel with Staff but noticed that Hotel was located in very small lanes and which was 3 km away and not on highway location like City Square. The Manager of Citi Square By Keymagic Hotel was already present at that other Hotel. He told us that due to some Technical Issues they are shifting all their guest to this Hotel which is Heritage Property and Rooms are of similar or higher category than those booked by me in their Hotel. After looking at the rooms in this Hotel, I felt that we are cheated by Staffs of City Square. Rooms were not cleaned, there was no ventilation inside room, some kind of bad smell was coming from rooms as it seems those were NOT Cleaned for several months.(See the attached photos clicked in Bathrooms) I told Manager of Hotel City Square that we did not like rooms and we want rooms in their Hotel itself. He denied saying he can not give rooms in City Square as no room available there and can not help us. It was around 9:45 pm in clock and I then called customer care of Goibibo to informed them hardships faced by me and my family. I informed Goibibo representative that Staff Members of Hotel City Square lied with me several times and did not keep their commitments towards customer. I asked the representative to contact manager of Hotel and request to make room available at City Square only but again Manager did not agree. Then I told Goibibo representative that I can stay in Hotel Megh Niwas on condition that Hotel City Square should refund 50% of amount paid by me as compensation because quality of rooms in that Hotel was below average. But this proposal was also rejected by Manager of the City Square. As I was with family and kids and it was already 10:30 pm I did not want to do follow up more and hence told Goibibo that I will check in Hotel Megh Niwas. I moved towards reception area of the Hotel for check in & suddenly Manager of City Square told me that I CAN'T CHECK-IN now as my booking has been cancelled by them. I was shocked to hear it. 酒店坐落在機場西側，離老城和新城都有一些距離，不過叫車還是很方便的。 剛開業5年，設施很新。住的小套房，含早不到700，非常實惠。衛生狀況很好，床很舒服。照明不錯，網速在印度酒店裡算快的了。隔音可以接受。空調給力，而且客廳和卧室分開控制。房間直接放6瓶飲用水，不用再向前台要。 有待提高的是：小套房沒有配浴缸。早餐純素，連雞蛋都沒有，雖然餐品不錯選擇也不少，還是感覺吃得不舒服。 服務態度很好。另外大堂吧很實惠，蛋糕挺大一塊衹要120盧比，比外頭蛋糕店還便宜。

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and had wonderful time. We were especially impressed with the staff attentiveness and high quality of service as well as the tasty food during both dinners and breakfasts we had in the hotel. We celebrated an occasion during our stay and the hotel’s staff really did all they could to make us feel the special event during all our stay. As expected from Fair field it is not as luxurious as other 5-stars hotels we’ve stayed in due this trip, but this provides high value for money.
