Kagi -the Spa Island, is the most beautiful all encompassing holiday you can imagine. I read all the reviews before booking and can honestly say, it far exceeded them in reality. From the moment we got off the plane, there was a friendly Kagi representative at every stage. Just what you need after a 10 hour flight. We reached the island by seaplane followed by a small boat and were greeted with such genuine, caring hospitality that continued every moment until we left. The simplicity of the Zen architecture puts you instantly at ease. Nazeer, the Manager, was welcoming and very visible throughout our time there. You can tell he has handpicked every single member of staff there with Kagi care. Everyone says hello as you walk around, even the guests say hello to each other. It really is a personal and intimate experience. Our Pure Life Ambassador, Cindy, was a telepathic magician. She anticipates what you need long before you even thought you needed it. I didn’t understand her title until you truly feel her warmth and intense attention to detail. She wanted us to have “Pure” relaxation and “Life” unencumbered by thinking. She organised everything for us using the app so we could unplug. She would check on us and ask how our day was in the most unobtrusive way. We always looked forward to seeing yer. She took great care to organise all our dinner reservations and activities before we even arrived so we didn’t have to think about a thing. She let us concentrate on Pure Life - snorkelling from our Ocean Pool Villa onto the house reef, scuba diving, cocktails by the pool or the beach and generally unwinding without a care in the world. A quick WhatsApp message to Cindy and she was able to organise massages for us at the incredible spa and a surprise special anniversary dinner on the beach. Dive Shop: Betty and the Dive Team were caring and professional with lots of compassion and more than happy to share the undersea world with us. Everything was taken care of long before you even thought about it - the seems to be the Kagi way. The management all waved us goodbye from the jetty and with the warmth that we will carry with us until we return again on our next visit. Something original and very Kagi. Cindy joined us on our final journey on the boat and of course she was with us to the end. We were all teary to leave and hugs all around. Pure Life indeed.
