Ulasan Quintessa Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan Relax&Sleep

Very good location. Easy check-in and check-out. I think I will come back again if I have to stay in Kagoshima.

Good location. V near to tram station and shoping areas with many good food around. Also near to daiso and don don donki. Walk 5 mins opp the street u hv the airport bus straight to airport. Very efficient. The bedroom with bunk bed v nice for 4 pax and families. They even have bath salts, coffee and microwave at lobby

The room is spacious, but the bathroom is small. Since the check-in and check-out processes are self-service, we didn’t need to interact with the staff. The check-in area is well designed and comfortable. However, there is a smoking area on the same floor, which might be a concern for some guests.

The hotel is located in the Planetarium area, with an airport bus stop directly diagonally opposite. It's also just over a 10-minute walk to South Pier. Our twin room was a decent size, with enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases. The room offered a good view, but unfortunately, the windows don't open. In the bathroom, the water pressure was strong and the drain worked well, but the water temperature was a bit hard to adjust, fluctuating between hot and cold. There's a lip into the bathroom that felt a bit wobbly, so care is needed when stepping on it. The bathtub's material and design weren't ideal, which older guests should particularly note. The surrounding area offers plenty of shopping and dining options. Sukiya is right next door, and there's a well-established unagi (eel rice) restaurant nearby that serves delicious food. The hotel's cleanliness was alright, but I did find some hair. It seems the standards aren't quite comparable to what they were years ago when local staff were responsible for room upkeep, a difference perhaps influenced by the increasing presence of foreign workers in many cities. The front desk is on the second floor, and most services are semi-self-service, with self-service luggage lockers available.

Conveniently located. The room was a bit small for two, but impeccably clean and the service was outstanding.

Terrible stay! Luckily, I was only here for one night. The room is extremely small; you can’t even open your luggage. Mineral water is not provided in the room. The toilet is dirty with a lot of stains on the shower tap. The room faces the car park, so you can hear engine sounds and traffic lights as well. Additionally, you can hear the neighbors screaming and chatting. The entrance and lobby are very small and there are no staff members to assist you. Only one elevator is available for entire hotel if you’re hurry or lift not function. Big problem. Overall I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying here.

The room was quite spacious, featuring bunk beds and a 1.8-meter king-size bed, which was perfect for a family trip. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Planetarium Station bridge, just a few minutes' walk away.

This is an extremely comfortable hotel! It's also incredibly conveniently located, with everything you could possibly need nearby. I especially enjoyed being able to prepare my own bath salts, which made for a wonderfully relaxing experience. I truly hope to have the opportunity to stay at this fantastic hotel again!

Everything is perfect, The only thing, the room is too small

The place is very clean and nice. The stuff is great and very helpful. Very convenient location. I absolutely recommend it.

The location is great. The bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a truly restful sleep, which really lived up to the hotel's name. However, the hotel's entrance was quite small and inconspicuous, and with the front desk located on the second floor, it was a bit tricky to find. Moreover, the self check-in machine wasn't very intuitive to operate.

My second stay at Quintessa. This time, it was a last min booking. The room, as with all Jap hotels, is small. Difficult for a clam-shell luggage. But it will be manageable if you packed well. Location is good - near to the airport limousine bus bus-stop, near to eateries, cafe, LOFT, MUJI, DON DONKI etc.
