フロントの方は外国の方だった為ちょっと大事な部分が聞きにくかったです。ちょっと対応が…あとはやっぱり外国人多いです。中国かどこかの人。お風呂も黙浴と書いてあるにもかかわらず、でかい声で話してる、永遠にです。 脱衣所でもふつーにぶつかってきて逆に睨まれました（笑）ホテル関係ないですが、外国人が多いということをわかっていった方がいいです。 部屋は延長コード結構長めのがあってよかったです。 朝食はドリンク多めで良かったです。美味しいまずいかで言うと普通です。 駐車場が、目の前じゃなくて下なので、ちょっと大変でした。 温泉はサウナヌルくて汗が全く出ませんでした。むしろ高温風呂入ってるほうが汗出ました…

氷瀑まつり目的で初めての層雲峡へ。 今回は会場への近い朝陽リゾートを予約。 決め手は、旭川からの無料送迎があったから。 しかし、この日は、バス予約者が少なかったからか 往復ともキャンセル。 でもバス代が往復分出たので良かった。 思っていたよりも大きなホテルで 外観はヨーロッパ・アルプスの山小屋風？ 今回は、和モダンを予約。 ちょっと狭いけど好きなデザイン。 ただベッドに行く際の小さの段差が つまずきやすいので注意。 湯沸かしポットやお茶セットなど完備。 歯ブラシ、髭剃りなどのアメニティは フロントから持っていくスタイル。 温泉は小さな露天もある大浴場が2つ。 男女で入れ替え制。 行きを見ながらの露天風呂が気持ちいい。 泉質も予想外にとても良かった。 食事は夕食和食ともビュッフェ。 口コミによってはイマイチとあったが アルプス周辺4カ国を中心とした 郷土料理をモチーフにした料理が種類豊富で 洋食好きにはうれしい。味も悪くなかった。 お刺身やなべなど和食もあり。 値段もお手頃で往復送迎もあり スタッフも感じよかった。 お勧めのお宿。

　温泉に入ってゆっくりしました。源泉掛け流しで温度も熱すぎずぬるすぎずにちょうど良かったです。露天風呂も付いていて最高でした。 　食事も北海道らしくカニや海鮮物と、豚肉の味噌焼き、天ぷらなど盛りだくさんでした。しかし、天ぷらが冷めていたり一度に温かい物が出来上がると食べている間に冷めてしまうため、時間差で用意するなどバイキングでは無かったのなら、もう少し高級感が欲しいところでした。 　アゴダで直前予約をしましたが、夕食時間のお知らせやチェックインのご案内が無かったので、サイト側と連絡を取り合って欲しいです。電話をこちらからしたのになかなか通じなかったので、本社にかけてしまいました。 　GW直前とはいえ、寂れている感じがしたのでもう少し、サービスに力を入れて賑わって欲しいです。

Only the lobby and several rooms were renovated while the rest are rusted and falling apart. Upon check in at 3pm we were told the original dinner time we have booked and CONFIRMED were no longer available and only 8pm were available. Fine. As outside were snowing hard we asked if they have any umbrella available and they just answered “NO”. Even a business hotel have umbrella for rental. How they dare to called themself “Grand” Hotel? When we arrived at the dinner buffet we were left with what’s essentially left over from the previous guests and nothing gets refilled. At 9pm suddenly they told us for the first time they are closing now and literally kicked us out of the buffet with no explanation. None of the staff speak any proper English and this is the worst ever Onsen hotel experience. Don’t waste your time and money.

和洋室のお部屋でした。両親と自分で2部屋取ったのですがすこし間取りが違っていましたとてもきれいで窓からは層雲峡が見えました。お風呂が最上階とロビー階に２箇所あったのですが1階は男女入れ替え制でした。同じ系列の朝陽リゾートのお風呂にも送迎バスが出ています。係の方も親切でゆったり2泊以上したい宿です。

I came here advised by the staff at my hostel, looking for a tattoo-friendly onsen. This is a large, fancy resort and I don't deny I felt a little out of place at first 😁 The place is super nice, yet the entrance (without towel fee) is only 1000 yen, or 800 if you have the discount coupon from the hostel, which is conveniently next door. I have very large, very visible tattoos (including on my arms, legs and neck) and I was allowed entrance without any issues, although in some of the bath areas there are signs that say ”No tattooes”, which I figure must be old. There are a few different pools, both indoor and outdoor, including an open-air bath on the 7th floor, overlooking the magnificent mountains and gorge. I was the only foreigner and the only person with tattoos. I'm so stoked I could experience such a place, definitely worth visiting if you have tattoos and are in the Daisetsuzan area!
