Ginger guwahati is my go to hotel whenever I visit guwahati. The staff are very courteous and mindful. Property is clean and well maintained and spacious. Food menu is also now offering good choices compared to my last visit.

The property is located in a very calm & upscale area, and right next to the mighty brahmaputra, offering some scenic views. The room was quite comfortable for a night’s stay. We had no problem whatsoever and even though we had to step out for a function in evening and reach back late at night. Manoj is a great host. Guest house is very far from main road and as-lo the road was not good, room is okay not the best bathroom is not good, bathroom smalls, kitchen smalls are coming inside the room but the staff behaved very well they are helpful.

1. The receptionist were badly dress, un iron clothes, very shabby looking, not at all groom, the toilet doesn't have shampoo or handwash, only one small soap was given. The room was okay. The breakfast included was a punishment, limited option given, if we have bread and ****er we can't take anything else

I stayed here for about five days, booking one day at a time. It is a quiet and peaceful place with spacious economy class rooms. In the first room, where I was accommodated, everything worked except the titan, but I was very busy and discovered it only on the third day. But I was immediately offered to move into the room next door, where everything was a little better and everything worked. The hotel is located three km from the railway station, which is very convenient. They have a cafe where you can order a few simple dishes and eat normally. People are friendly. Of the wishes, I would probably ask them to use the purchased filtered water for tea brewing, since the local water is very calcined. In this place, I was able to sleep off and recover.

The people at the restaurant needs to be trained. it's a budget hotel. one should not keep high expectations. Especially the reception staff is not very responsive. Location is not great. Food is ok. But we need to ask every time for spoons, water etc. They serve nothing without asking. Today at 7am when we went to restaurant, the waiters were sleeping in the dining room. Further, the cook was singing very loudly. On the top of that, there was a constant noise of moving furniture from one place to another. It did stop after as no of complaints.
