Very good hotel in a very quite area 8 km outside of Kandy. A place to relax, well kept garden, very clean pool and good restaurant. You feel at home immediately. The staff is very friendly, high quality rooms and very clean also. I had a very relaxing stay at this place and can recommend it to everyone

Nestled in the bottom of the Hanthana Mountain range, the Mountbatten bungalow is a colonial-style property with lovely chalets. Surrounded by greenery and wildlife the property is a great place for relaxation. Mr. Raj (Villa Manager) and his team are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were served in the main building dining hall, but the food was mixed. Nicely maintained garden. Sadly, we had to cut short the trip due to a family emergency but will surely visit the property again.

Feeling and enjoying the colonial time in Kandy on a top location. Overviewing the deep valley and experiencing the peacefullnes of being on an island. Then being served by one of the best hosts of Kandy, Mr Chulan, is an absolute nice experience. And you will feel how royalties were once treated.

Chulan and his team are so warm-hearted and courteous. The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet landscape in the mountains of Kandy. You are woken up with the chirping of birds. The traditional Sri Lankan food was excellent. We felt very comfortable.

A perfect place to relax yourself with stunning views in hill country . Hospitality , cleanliness and service were excellent . Staff was friendly and attentive including the manager himself . Won't forget the service given by our butler Jayaweera. Food was delicious and perfectly served. Enjoyed a nice breakfast in the garden while listening to chirping of birds.. Had a wonderful time with my family ...

Serene place! Came with a couple of friends and we wished we could stay longer. We stayed in a couple of chalets which were spacious, great view and very comfortable beds. Staff were very accommodating and Raj the manager of the property made sure were well taken care of, he was gracious enough to spend some time to explain the history of the hotel adding richness to our experience. Definitely recommend and will surely be back next time in Kandy :)

This lodge in the hills above Kandy, is a very stylish english upper-class facility with very helpful staff, good food and very nice rooms. There is also a swimmingpool, but the highlight is the 'english breakfast' on the lawn outside the main building.

We went their to celebrate wife's birthday and the staff made it happen by their delightful extra mile service, my special thanks to the manager Raj who took a great care of us from the time of arrival. They made us to feel like home. Food is excellent and they were ready to accept our special concerns all the time. Room is clean and awesome. Staff is always attentive and ready to serve at any time without any hesitations. Overall mount batten is a calm and pleasant environment for a wonderful stay.

It’s a beautiful old style bungalow with rooms within but the rooms on stilts built in the forest area surrounding the bungalow are the best ! They are very modern and yet give you a full nature feel ! You can walk around on a few trails . There’s a monastery nearby and the cleanliness level of the whole environment is so striking ! The staff are super friendly and high energy , ready to assist you and make your holiday super special ! We could hear the sound of the huge Albasia branches brushing against each other and saw them too . The flora is so colourful . The breakfast and dinners were good too and it’s so comfortable, you can request them for what you want !
