I've stayed at 21c the last 4 times I have traveled to Kansas City and it has become my favorite place to stay. My most recent stay was the best yet! When checking in, Annie and Jonathan at the front desk were very friendly and personable. We proceeded to our room where we found we had been upgraded to a suite with champagne on ice waiting for us to arrive! Our room was the largest that I have stayed in and had a great view with multiple floor to ceiling windows. I like the fact that 21c is a boutique hotel, the rooms are always quiet and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I did not have a chance to patronize the Savoy room but I have on past trips and their staff is always professional and knowledgeable and the cocktails are delicious. Location is very desirable, with restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. I have always felt safe in this area at night and the parking garage across the street is very convenient and well lit. All in all I had a wonderful experience and will continue to stay at 21c Kansas City.

Contacted the hotel indicating a next day arrival because of illness in the family, understanding that day 1 of the stay was non-refundable, but wanted it to be understood that we would arrive on the 2nd and final day of our stay. Day 2 received an email, indicating a no-show, followed by a call to the hotel, in which I was hung up on multiple times and finally just refused to answer. I may have raised my voice but never used vulgar or abusive language. They simply didn't want to deal with it. After 45 minutes with the corporate agent, I finally received notification of my original reinstated prepaid reservation. I've stayed at lower priced Hilton properties, that were properly updated, had a free breakfast, and capable desk staff with more professionalism. Way too many options in KC to take another chance on this hotel again.

No waffles are pancakes and breakfast could have been a little bit better and cleanliness of the room mildew on the top part of the shower thanks okay night sleep guest star kind of noisy then outside was pretty clean they got her rooms confused with I wanted a smoking room but they gave me a non-smoking room

Clean..check. comfortable…check. Quiet…check. Great buffet…check. Central location to UKMC…check. Easy to register online…check. Price conscious…check. I think this covered everything. Arrived after midnight, but they waited for me…lots of great restaurants nearby (within 50 meters)…overall, excellent stay. If you are headed to UKMC, this is where you should stay!
