Can't believe how great of a value this hotel is.
Rooms are awesome, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is delicious (and all-you-can-eat!), and the location is quite convenient!
Only negative point I'd say is that it gets quite humid in the room, even with the dehumidifier on.
Highly recommend for anyone staying in Kaohsiung. Booking through trip.com made it even cheaper, since it was about half the price of what we were quoted at the front desk (4k NTD/night).

The staffs were not very friendly but they did their job.
Breakfast was not good so I didn't go on my second morning but just to have a coffee.
The hotel is clean, it is just quite old, but the room is very spacious.

The receptionists are friendly and helpful. But the first night I checked in, I was a bit disappointed in the hygiene of the room as I saw a string of black hair in a towel and another string on my bed. My hair is blonde so it’s obviously not mine. I hope they’ll clean the room more thoroughly.
Also for the gym rooms their policy is also a bit backward as you’d have to borrow a key to the treadmill from the receptionist and return it.. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where you have to do so.
Breakfast was alright as all I needed was eggs and coffee.

CChoon HiangStaffs were very friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a rooftop bar for drinks and food. Hotel Indigo is in a very central location and easy access to most location of interest. There is the MRT station less than 30 min of the hotel enterance. A 24hr cafe, Mcdonald's and 7-11 store is just 5mins away so not worry about finding foods late at night. Highly recommended and will stay here if visit Kaohsiung again.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel was excellent for a solo traveller. I can foresee some inconvenience if it was a couple or 2 friends staying here as there the bathroom is pretty much an open concept. i.e. would need to get changed inside the shower booth before coming out etc, and no proper door except a semi-opaque glass door.
Having said, I was by myself for my stay so it was perfect room for me. Bed is comfy, place was clean.
They have this machine check-in system which works fine, but I was a bit taken aback initially as I had to scan qr code, get internet and do things myself while just having reached the place with luggage etc. Not a biggie but would have been nice if the staff could check me in or offered a bit more help since there wasn't any other guests there either.
I didn't use any other facilities but during the day the lobby operates as a cafe, and there is a laundry room in B1. Location is convenient and near Kaohsiung train station, the station is currently going through a big construction so if I had known, I probably would have chosen to stay somewhere near Formosa Boulevard instead given it has 2 MRT lines. But hotel-wise, it is near the station and have convenience stores/fast food options in walking distance.

Breakfast buffet is ok, plenty for vegetarians, though make sure you get there early. Rooms were clean and cosy but the room cleaning service was confusing - as I understood, you had to go give your room card to an 阿姨 between certain hours. Hotel is a 10-15 min walk from Yanchengpu mtr station, though do not use the directions from Ctrip app in Google or Baidu as they are incorrect. Put the name of the hotel directly into your map app or waste an hour trying to find the hotel in the wrong locations like I did.

RRCSLRoom was clean and service was really good. I requested for them to help me receive parcel prior to my arrival and they assisted me with it and handed me the parcel when I arrived. Hotel also provides free self-service laundry, but not that drier have to pay. Overall good experience

YYeow AnnMy expereince at Kindness Hotel (Kaohsiung Hanshen) was very good, and similar to that of many Kindness hotels, professional and polite team of staff. Location was near a main shopping mall, and a 10-15 minutes stroll to the river. Rooms were spacious and clean, with simple yet nice breakfast. The hotel lobby snacks were very helpful for all guests too. Thank you very much and all the best :)

TThe Novice TravellerThe location of the hotel is very close to the Kaohsiung Main Station, which was very convenient for us.
The hotel room was very clean, in which the beds and facilities inside were maintained at a high level of hygiene.
The service of the hotel staff was magnificent. There was a slight leakage problem under the toilet sink, and after we informed them of the issue in the morning, they already fixed it when we came back to the hotel in late afternoon. They were really efficient and also very friendly in responding to our queries.
In terms of facilities, we felt that there can be a few improvements. First of all, there were no microwaves inside the hotel. We suggest adding some in order for guests to reheat food that they might want to eat at the hotel. Also, it would be great if there is a common area for guests to sit down and chat or eat together. In addition, the TV remote control in our room had a really slow response time, in which each button took like 5 seconds to work.
What surprised us was how spacious the room was. For its price, the size of the room felt like a bargain. The intelligent voice butler (small AI-esque machine) in the room was also a fun device to use and play with.
Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel, and would definitely recommend it to travellers in Kaohsiung.

清清涼上市！MRT駅にも近く、ユーバイクに乗ったり、有名朝食店も徒歩圏内で、観光に便利な場所でした。
連泊した場合は掃除をしないようで、バスタオルを交換してほしいとフロントにお願いしないとダメなようです。お茶や水の補充もありませんでしたが、最上階にウォーターサーバーがあるので、そちらを利用しました。
シャワールームのお湯は、しばらく流さないと温度が高くなりませんでした。

The only concern that I have is the smell of cigarettes; it saturates the room that made us need to wear a face mask, but eventually it evaporated.
