The property was very good the buffet was great .. But But . But.. Front desk manger and front desk staff are sneaky ( there's offer says the dinner $22 after we had it they charged us almost $40 per person.. I have pictures of the offer and the bill.. any way they have to be sorry for that ...

It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, the hotel design and famous restaurant branches there make it a beautiful hotel to stay and spend time there. The location of the hotel is one of the most famous and fantastic areas in Baghdad, which makes it the best choice for everyone.

I’ve been staying at Rotana Babylon regularly for 3-4 days every two weeks, and it’s truly a fantastic experience each time. The food is simply amazing, with a variety of delicious options to suit every taste. The rooms are always clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, making each stay feel warm and welcoming. The gym is top-notch, well-equipped for a great workout, and the pool is even more impressive – perfect for a refreshing swim. The WiFi and internet service are reliable and fast, making it easy to stay connected. Rotana Babylon offers multiple restaurants with diverse cuisines, including an excellent shisha lounge. The hotel also provides wheelchair access, ensuring accessibility for all guests. The overall environment, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere, makes this place feel like an oasis. This hotel needs room renovation because everything is outdated (Walls, bed, curtains, TV, carpet, etc.) The restaurants are good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I hope the hotel management upgrades the hotel rooms to be worth the value

The Babylon Hotel from the outside looks luxurious and has a spacious garden and restaurants, but the rooms have many issues, such as: - The carpet is very old and its color is awful. - The room had an unpleasant odor. - The air conditioner is very hot, so I had to open the window to circulate the air, but the noise from outside is terrible. - Near the desk, there is no power outlet and no chair.- The TV is small old model with low-quality resolution. - The refrigerator is empty! no mini bar!!! I found an old cake only. - The quality of the room cleaning service is poor. - Both the pillows and the bed linens are old. Conclusion: This hotel is suitable for hosting events or having meals only, but not the best choice for staying especially its expensive price. However, the staff are very good

I'm a british iraqi and regularly travel back to iraq to visit friends and relatives. I've stayed at Babylon multiple times over the years with varying degrees of service. In general, you won't find a better hotel with european standards of service and cleanliness. For customer service, they're 5/5. With every visit year on year, the years pass but the rooms look the same. The are in dire need of updating. The carpets are tired and the toilets are in urgent need of modernising. I hope the hotel management take note, Rixos is opening a hotel and Rotana will soon have real competition in being the best hotel in Baghdad.

This has to be the worst service I have experienced in Iraq- been here two weeks at all levels of properties. It took roughly 30 minutes to bring the bags from the curb, then there was no one to deliver them to the room. I have had multiple TV issues- been sick and had to lie in- and it takes an hour to 1.5 for the maintenance to arrive- TV system is a nightmare to manipulate as it is very dated. I rarely experience this low-level of service and mainly travel to the developing world. The rooms are incredibly dated, as they put all the money into the common areas. The buffet is very poor quality and not good. Very disappointing overall. On a positive note, Keneth (concierge) took the initiative with a question when Reception did nothing. After reading the reviews, it seems that management does not care, as nothing changes.

Very disappointing. Service is horrible, rooms are outdated. We paid extra for 2 river view rooms and they gave us outdated rooms on the first floor with no view at all. No help with carrying luggage, they would not even call a taxi for us and made us wait outside under the blazing sun looking for a taxi on the street. Customer service is horrible. Would never come back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The Babylon in Baghdad is a luxurious haven with a great gym, spa, pool, and fabulous restaurants. Upon entering the facility, I felt immediately relaxed and welcome. The Lebanese restaurant is excellent and the gym and pool are world class.

Rotana I had a terrible experience and for sure will not stay in this hotel again. Nothing is functioning in the room: TV does not work, remote control is broken, rotten smell from the AC and terrible hygiene. The rooms are very small and old. Breakfast area is dull and unwelcoming. The same experience was with my other colleagues who stayed in the same hotel. Hotel is over priced as I paid more than 400$ per night. I will definitely not stay in this hotel ever again. Very disappointed from Rotana chains hotel!
