Emporios Bay Hotel Chios

This is a fabulous hotel - a traditional family run business, you can feel the love and passion poured into it. Right from our arrival we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the whole family. We stayed in a studio apartment, it was sparkling clean and plenty big enough for 2 people. The apartment was serviced every day. Breakfast was a highlight. Delicious Greek specialities and pastries, honey, yoghurt... fresh fruits and juices. The hotel has a lovely pool area but there are so many beautiful beaches nearby... Agia Dynami, Lithi and Trachili were 3 of our favourites. Emporios is a tiny settlement but has 5 tavernas - all are fabulous! The harbour is just 200m from the hotel and there is a beach perhaps 400m away but to see the island a car is necessary. The hotel also rent cars at a very competitive price. The roads are quiet and it is a joy to drive - the island is breathtakingly beautiful. We will certainly return - thank you so much Gioli and Ilias.

I beautifully located hotel with a lovely pool, friendly staff, wonderful spacious well equipped rooms with a good shower. Large balcony, in our case overlooking the pool and a side sea view. Buffet breakfast featured lots of choice including home made pastries and jams. Literally a 2 minute walk to the pebble beach and selection of tavernas. Would stay here again if visiting Chios.

The best of best in terms of comfort, scenery and hygiene. Kampas family’s kindness and great hospitality reflects the each point of the hotel. Located very near to Komi beach and magravolia beach. Definitely recommended to everyone who plans to visit Chios Island.

We had planned to stay in Chios just for two days, but when we discovered the splendid hospitality of the Kampas family and their little paradise we decided to prolong our stay. Everything in the premises is well kept, with an obvious attention to the details, to cleaningness, and to order. Good, practical, no nonsense indoor/outdoor spaces , all well maintained. Their friendly willingness to respond to our needs and wishes was impressive. The attractive 'small' features are numerous: rich breakfast, plenty of parking space, refreshing swimming pool, soft music, quiet surroundings, various corners to relax in, wifi available everywhere. We had been there back in Easter 2014. Now everything seemed newer than then! Probably because the entire family has been devoted to upgrading their place as a prime accommodation facility. They certainly are successful in that! I have no doubt about where to stay next time in Chios. Especially given the wonderful attractions in the vicinity.

The hotel is very clean and The location is very close to beaches. The owners (family business) are very helpful and so nice people. We hire the car via hotel easily to see other places around the chios. P.s. Everyday homemade delicious cakes and pastry rocks the breakfast Emporios is a small village with perfect beaches and sunrise on the south of chios If we go chios again, we would definitely choose this hotel again

Our preferred accommodation on the island of Chios. The location is very beautiful.. very close to a quiet and beautiful bay. We can go on foot. The village has very nice taverns.. we have delicious dinners. The hotel is clean, modest.. there is friendly service. The breakfasts are great.. Homemade local delicacies.. Clean, in fact spotless, and comfortable, particularly the bed. Fantastic breakfast with great choice to suit all tastes. The pool was cleaned daily (loved watching the wee robot cleaner as did some kids!). The owner family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and all the staff did their jobs to perfection. A lot of the guests return year after year and we can see why. We hope to join that list of repeat visitors.

It was 3rd stay at Emporios Bay hotel. They have always clean rooms, caring staff and a great breakfast. Our room was cleaned every day. We usually go to Emporios Bay by car to swim. This time, I tried the beach in front of the hotel with a few steps. Sea shoes are also necessary for that place. Thanks a lot Giouli and Ilias; I hope to see you soon:)

We have been visiting this hotel regularly for close to 10 years and had an excellent experience as always. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and pastries and cakes. Ilias was kind enough to move our booking at very short notice due to the ferries being cancelled. The car we rented from them was also in excellent shape. Everything was very reasonably priced, and the owners were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and booking your car with them - we would never stay anywhere else in Chios!
