Food is oké view is nice The best receptionist is baris hè helpt us with everything we need The city is 25 minutes from The hotel and The spa en haman is super i would recomend This more fore familie Holiday then friends cant wait to come back again

This hotel is disgustingly bad, it’s dirty wall paper hanging off , furniture is ripped , rooms are dirty and tired, most of the facilities are not open, I saw people saying you get what you pay for , this was not cheap when we booked it and pictures look fabulous, but these are old and dated and looks nothing like this anymore, we complained about facilities not being open but they don’t won’t to know ! Please don’t waste your money there far better hotels out there , plus it’s a 3 hr trip from airport then they stop to try get you to buy from shop ! Everyone has different taste I get that but this is on another level !

Amazing hotel. I really struggle to understand people that give this hotel negative reviews. For what you pay it’s absolutely amazing. The people are very friendly the pools are amazing the food is lovely. A la carte restaurants a snack bar that serves fresh fish daily along with pizzas, pasta, burgers. They have buses that can in to Alanaya twice a day and buses that go to the beach, which is also all inclusive. The transfer time between the hotel and Alanya is around 35 minutes. Own water park along with activities throughout the day that also caters for kids. They are fully aware that the hotel is not right on the ***** and do everything possible to cater for people that don’t want to go there. Please ignore they negative reviews. If you calculate costs, it costs no more than £50 a night to stay here and that gets you a nice room, good food, fun activities, a water park, free ice creams, free crepes, freshly maid pittas all day and even a Starbucks (paid). Ignore the negative reviews and come to this place. Me an my partner loved it!!!

We took our grandkids for one week in August and were pleasantly surprised. We had a three bedroom, two bathroom apt in the main building, with fabulous sea and mountain views. The rooms were huge, very clean, excellent air conditioning, huge balcony, fully kitchen, we could not fault it. The waterpark is amazing, and the food there was really nice, we spent most of our days there.'' The main pool was also great though very busy in August, but that didn't bother us. The indoor pool was good as it was cooler and refreshing. The food in our opinion, was good, having a large variety from lamb, fish, chicken, duck, sushi and more. We also ate at the A La Carte restaurant, where we sat on the outside terrace with fantastic views. The food there was delicious, the even made a special birthday cake for my granddaughter on her 10th birthday. I really loved Goldcity and will definitely be visiting again. There was only negative for me, and that was the lack of air conditioning in public areas of the hotel, especially the restaurant. The weather in August was extremely hot and humid, so air con was needed in all areas. We could not sit indoors as it was unbearable, it was obvious they were trying to save money, which is not acceptable. If the air con in main building had been on I would have given this hotel a 10/10. A bid thank you to Eda in customer relations for making this a fab holiday, see you next time

Arriving to the hotel, it really is in the mountains with nothing around for atleast a 7 minute drive/taxi ride. You drive past a construction site that’s right by hotel. The hotel is nice but I wouldn’t say special, could definitely do with updating and a freshen up. It’s not modern. Me and my son got to our room, he went to open drawers and a knob come off the drawer I opened wardrobes to put clothes away and someone’s luggage tags was left in the wardrobe. It’s clear the room hadn’t had a thorough clean, there was marks on wardrobe mirror and balcony doors were dusty and fingerprinted. The food was nice, but just nice. Kids buffet was really silly. No choice at all, about 4 things but the same as adults buffet just smaller scale. Nothing for the fussy/picky/plain eater. Everything was done and dusted by 1am, had to go to bed, could order room service but they didn’t understand you, there was no food/drink menu in the room and had to pay extra. Room key cards! Everyday they stopped working! Thankfully we was on the first floor, never the less a pain to go back downstairs (the lifts take forever! And are like green houses!) to complain to reception, they change the card and same happens the next day! I spoke to others and the same had happened to them. One girl on reception looked at you as if you really inconvenienced her. Chinese/asian orientation, young. Entertainment. Don’t bank on it! Really only aimed at small children, no older than 7/8 I’d say. Every 2/3 days something “good” came on, like acrobatics or stunts. But there was much getting older kids involved. The only thing to entertain is say 9-15 year olds was an arcade, which you pay extra for. Drinkers - wine - it’s tastes very chemical like, very strong, red, white & rose. I must admit I am comparing this to last years alanya hotel (long beach alanya which was 5*) but honestly, it was very mediocre. It did the job but others I spoke to agreed on all above points. Cleaners will pretty much do a quick sweep, make bed, not a thorough clean. I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t go back. It served its purpose but be mindful that there’s no ATM/Cashpoint at or near this hotel either so have cash! WiFi was on and off, worked then didn’t work. 16th floor -sky bar - you pay extra for. Nothing at all going on up there, boring really. I hope this review helps someone I’ll attach what pics I can. **I had videos but it wouldn’t let me attach**

The hotel is great and big. There is a lot of different activities and somethings for everyone. It has a lot of bar and snacks bar around the pool. It is both for adults and kids. The hotel has nice workers and different activities doing the day.
