Beautiful Hotel with amazing location . Loved i

Location is bad as you need shuttle or car to take you around for onsen. The French restaurant is excellent, worth trying.

It was a great experience to stay in this hotel! Very nice view and staff are very polite and willing to answer many questions. Outdoor area is very big that we could take bicycles with kids. Also there are kids outdoor playground that can spend whole day there. 

Compared to Prince West, The Prince is much quieter and cozier. The room comes with a kitchen and the bathroom is spacious. Our room was on the first floor which opens directly to the outside, so when it snowed my daughter ran happily outside to make a snowman. There was a lounge serving drinks and wines, which all guests could enjoy, what I appreciated the most is the library setting with books to read. Service was phenomenal, the reception and all staff members were helpful.

Hotel was a short drive to the ski resort. Front office staff were very pleasant, they also had a complimentary lounge with drinks. Room was clean and spacious

Very spacious hotel with Ski facilities, hot springs and shopping mall. Very good for ski area for beginner, kids and family.

Wifi speed is very slow.

The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station. However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service. By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus. Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead. During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus. The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring. Overall service is excellent.

Spacious room, and great Onsen. Onsen is a bit far, as it needs a shuttle.

Stayed here mainly for skiing ⛷ and it was the best choice. You can take shuttle to go to the rental spot, shopping mall and metro station. You can even enjoy momiji onsen and the onsen at the west hotel after skiing, totally worth it. Highly recommend.
