Têm jipe para safari, camião e barco! Por isso, oferecem uma experiência personalizada, de qualidade e a valores muito competitivos quando comparados com as agências. A comida também excecional, não só no hotel, mas também a servida nas atividades. A simpatia genuína de todos os funcionários, vira certamente também dos proprietários, que fazem de tudo para que se sinta bem. Se pensa visitar o Parque Chobe, não hesite: reserve no River View Lodge - só terá que desfrutar das suas férias, sem mais nenhuma preocupação!

We, family of 3, stayed 3 nights starting Dec 30. Spend the 2024 NY at this lodge and would always be memorable. Shingi from office is awesome and so are many of the folks who work there. We loved our cabin (No. 2) which had a great view of the Chobe river. Cabin was big enough for the 3 of us. The maids do a great job of keeping it clean and tidy each day. Breakfast / dinner area is spacious and beautiful. My wife and daughter are vegans and their choices were limited but staff made every effort to make sure they have something. One of the suggestions for them would be to increase meal choices. One more suggestion would be to reduce the time between meal courses. Like don't make folks wait for 25 minutes to get their dessert after the main course. 24/7 tea and coffee station is available along with filtered water which you can refill your bottle. We did full day Chobe park safari , chobe river afternoon crruise and they were awesome. We got Matthew as our safari guide and he is a great driver/ safari guide. On final day we got Matthew again for our shuttle ride to Kasane airport which is about 15 mins from lodge. Overall great experience and would love to stay there again. Highly recommended.

A very good lodge in a green setting. Bungalows nicely decorated. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast, light lunch and the three course dinner all excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. We organized both a river safari and a park safari via the lodge. Our driver/guide John took extremely well care of us and learnt us loads! A perfect stay all-in-all.

When we arrived, we were late to our scheduled river cruise. We were flustered and frustrated by our situation, but was immediately greeted by Sophia, who held the bus that would take us on our cruise. They took our luggage and allowed us to do the formalities when we returned. Sophia was able to quickly bring down our frustration level which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time on the boat. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. When we returned from our evening cruise, we were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the lodge. Dinner was very nice and it was quite a treat to meet others from all around the world. I hope to be able to return and sped more time.

We had a great time at this very nice lodge ! The staff is very kindly. The meals were so delicious and with lots of love served. The organzition of the day trips was good as well. Perfect days of our vacation !

We are a Swedish couple who spent two nights at this lovely lodge in June 2023. The accommodation is spacious, the surroundings are stunning, the food is very good and the activities well organized. Compared to more expensive lodges River View Lodge gives great value for the money.. We had two game drives and two boat tours - the guides were very knowingly and made their best efforts to maximize our experiences. We guess it s the nature experience that makes most people come here and that certainly didn't t disappoint. All in all we have nothing but great things to say about River View Lodge.and it comes highly recommended

We stayed two nights in The River View hotel with our 2 boys , 12 and 14 y old. When you approach the hotel from the outside it does not look very special, but first impressions CAN be wrong. The welcome was very warm and the rooms were very nice, clean and modern with great pictures on the wall. They come to check the rooms twice a day and have a very good laundry service. We got our clothes neatly and ironed back the same day. We did some nice game drives and a boat Safari with their own guide John. Very friendly man and lots of knowledge. The food was very tasty, with a free lunch in the afternoon and always a vegetarian option. Our last night the hotel was fully booked and there were not enough tables to eat dinner in the dining area. The solution however was wonderfull. They made this amazing decorated table next to the camp fire, our own private dinner. The friendly waitress even teaches me how to fold the napkins in to a bird. The staffs treats you very friendly and makes you feel at home. They are always smiling and you can ask them everything. Thank you so much for the wonderfull stay.

What an amazing little lodge on the banks of the Chobe River, they offer their own safari cars and boats to explore at exceptionally good prices. The rooms are newly decorated (room 2 was ours) in a lovely comfortable fashion, cosy beds with tea and coffee and a verandah to enjoy it on. All of the staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, Mossie arranged an esky with a substantial breakfast and flask of coffee for us when we wanted to go out early for a self drive game drive. Dinner and the safari tea has all been huge and so delicious. Proper home cooked style food that’s abundant and tasty. The wine list is small but very good and so reasonably priced: There’s a fire pit to sit around after dinner with an amarula cream or drink of your choice from the bar. We are so happy we stayed here and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This is a really lovely place, very nicely located on the banks of the Chobe river, run by fabulous staff. I stayed here with my father and daughter for two nights ( We would love to have stayed longer but we had already spent a couple of weeks in Namibia and 24 hours in Vic Falls immediately before coming here. The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely equipped and the food was great. It's not the most extensive menu for dinner (though there is a vegetarian option), but it is excellent quality. We loved both of our evening meals. Breakfast was great too and there is a nice 'safari tea' put on around 2pm which was very welcome and included a savoury dish and salad with cakes and tea/coffee etc. The organised morning game drives were wonderful. We saw so much wildlife, including a leopard and a stand off between a herd of buffalo and a large pride of lions (amongst many other wonderful sights). The game drive guide Matthew was great and his right hand man on the day, John. There is also an afternoon boat cruise option which I'd highly recommend. Again the wildlife is abundant and heading back down the river as the sun goes down I pretty unforgettable. A big shout out goes to the wonderful Mossy (sorry if that is not the right spelling) and Shingi, who was running the admin (I've never deal with anymore more patient and responsive!) It was my daughter's birthday while we were there and they left a lovely treat in the bedroom and set up our evening meal table outside by the open fire with a special cake. It was very thoughtful and much appreciated. I'd really recommend this place. We all really enjoyed it.
