Hotel les Remparts

Located away from the village centre made for a nice quiet stay. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff friendly. Breakfast was buffet style with good choice of healthy options to include fruit and yoghurt. Hotel is close to a local bus stop making it convenient for accessing the Orbey lakes.

We had a friendly and warm welcome when we arrived, and were given directions to our room which was on the first floor. It was quite a surprise when we went up and looked out of the window, which had a fantastic view of the wooded hills and the vineyards beyond. We also had a small balcony, which we would have made good use of had the weather been better. The room had a spacious en-suite bathroom and separate toilet; the bathroom had shower gel and a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding cool and soft. There was plenty of room for clothes and belongings, and there was even a long work desk. A mini bar was provided as there is no bar at the hotel. It might have been a nice addition to have a kettle and tea/coffee given that there is no bar, and that the town closes up pretty early. Breakfast was very good, each group/couple given a basket of different breads and a plate of meats and cheeses, and coffee/tea is brought to you. You can go to the breakfast bar for juice, jam, butter, fruit, cereal etc, all of which is locally-sourced. Cleanliness couldn't be faulted, both in the room and throughout the hotel. The owners were great in offering suggestions for dinners and lunches, and those suggestions were very sound. It is very well-situated for the town centre, and is very peaceful at night, being placed at the very edge of an extremely well-to-do housing estate.

One of six three-star hotels booked though Eurobike Tours. All fine with this exception. Single, older woman checked into ground floor room with ceiling to floor sliding window door covered by thin, transparent curtin. Could not determine if locked from outside. Too tired (35 miles biking) too late to fumble through totally dark , close to empty hotel to request room change. 3-4 times motion light flashed on during night..animals ?? result: scary, angry, sleepless. Negative response from Eurobike for refund.

Nice hotel located close to everything. Easy, free parking right in front of the hotel. Personal and very friendly service by the sweet hostess. As soon as you enter the hotel, you feel welcome and comfortable. Good rooms with fridge. Super breakfast. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is just outside the old town of Kaysersberg, literally 2 minutes walk outside the town gate. The rooms are large and comfortable and decorated tastefully. Most rooms have a lovely private balcony, but not all, so if you want this, make sure you specify this on booking. Service is good - the receptionist made excellent suggestions for places to eat. Breakfast is decent. All in all a lovely place to stay in an absolutely gorgeous historic town.

Good and quiet rooms, but no AC! Breakfast is ok for 13 euros. Receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. It is better to arrive before 6 pm if you want a free parking at the hote. Otherwise public parking are available nearby. It takes 5 min walk to the city center.
