Amour Holiday Resort

I visited the Amour holiday resort with 3 of my friends. Everything was absolutely great. The hotel was clean and the housekeeping was done every day. The food was excellent and there were many varieties to choose from. The staff was very nice and helpful, they advised us on everything. A big thank you to Mario the bartender who was very patient with us and even though he was busy he always remained very kind and professional. Also the hotel manager was a very nice man. As I said, everything was absolutely fine and I hope to return to Amour Holiday Resort soon. Thank you for everything, Monika Pavelková

The stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. the staff is nice and helpful, they are always around and willing to help. Knowledge of at least basic English is an advantage, which makes communication easier. The entire hotel is located close to many shops and attractions, such as the Canal d'Amour, which delights with its beauty. Diverse and tasty food. Clean rooms, ladies come to clean and change towels. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you dream of a great vacation.

The facility is located close to beautiful beaches and an incredible number of shops. One of the biggest advantages is the very nice and helpful staff. Throughout my stay I felt very well taken care of. The staff came every day to clean the room. On Friday there was a dance with a DJ I had a great time and on Tuesday there was a Greek night. The location of this wonderful place is amazing, right next to one of the best attractions in Corfu - Canal D'amour (a beautiful place). It was a very pleasant stay, I rested and did not worry about anything and this is all thanks to this wonderful facility. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to relax and have a successful stay in Corfu.

We have been here for 7 nights. We had great food most of time. I expected just a little bit better quality but salads were superb! Very kind and helpful employees taking care of us every day. This is what I appreciated the most. Last thing I would like to mention is that the manager of this hotel is absolute hero. I would recommend to come here.

The hotel complex is located in a decent area – there are a few beaches nearby, though none of them are particularly beautiful. Overall, however, I would rate the hotel rather negatively. We arrived at night, and there were three of us in the room, but the bed linen and towels were only prepared for two people. The reception ignored this issue and didn’t provide me with the bedding, so I had to go the next day, and after several requests, I finally received the bedding, while the towels were given to me on the third day. There were several issues with cleaning. The rooms are supposed to be cleaned every day except Sunday, but this didn’t happen, and nobody came to clean for two consecutive days. The drains in the room, specifically the drainage channel, were broken, and no one addressed the issue, so we had to fix it ourselves. The food was average, sometimes below average, and the dishes were not clean. I definitely would not recommend this hotel, though I don’t have a comparison with other hotels in this area.

Having seen the previous reviews we were apprehensive about coming to stay and I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt on this occasion I had to. On arrival to our room, the shower was broken which we reported to Linda and Apostolos - this was dealt with promptly. We have found the food to be better than other all inclusive hotels we have stayed in as it has been mostly Greek food which is what we enjoy eating when we go on holiday - the local cuisine! All the meat has been really tender and tasty. It is a small hotel, so don’t expect there to be lots and lots dishes to choose from, but what’s on offer will suit most. Outwith the set mealtimes there is ice-cream available at the bar from 11:00 - late, there has also been snacks including sandwiches, wraps and fresh watermelon on the bar in the morning and afternoon. The beer is self serve and very drinkable! I don’t drink wine often but have tried it and found that to be nice - everyone’s taste is different with wine though. Mario on the bar is very nice and friendly. He’s good at making a “Greek measure” cocktail, he is happy to reduce the alcohol if you ask - haha! Faiki who works on reception at night has also been helping Mario in the bar and is very helpful - if you need a bottle of water overnight, he’s your man! The other staff are all very polite and friendly. Our room has been cleaned daily, apart from Sunday - which it tells you on the welcome sheet. Although the hotel has been fully booked we haven’t had any issues finding sunbeds or going in the pool. The hotel is situated right between the main ***** of sidari and the canal d’amour which is handy and the beach is also right across the road. There is Greek night on a Tuesday which was good fun, they put on a Greek BBQ for dinner. On a Friday night there is a DJ who fills the dancefloor. All the previous reviews are true, however, since under the new management of Apostolos there have been major improvements and I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone!

Our summer holiday was perfect thanks to the hotel. The Hotel Manager (Mr Apostolos) was quick, and helpful when a room change was neccessary. The hotel was clean, and modern. The hotel location was perfect for little trips, and the food…Aww! Thank you for the hospitality, and memories!

Two of my friends and I stayed at Amore Holiday Resort for a week. The staff were so nice and friendly upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the manager Apostolis, he helped us settle and check in which we appreciate. Our room was perfect, was clean and nicely presented! We did have a broken back door so we notified the manager and out of his generosity he gifted us with a free boat ride, this was honestly the best experience out of all the days we had during our holiday and we thank Apostolis so much for that opportunity! The food provided was great, wasn't too repetitive which was good. The bar staff were exceptional. Special thank you to Mario, he made us feel welcome and was charming, sociable and kindhearted to us, not to mention made AMAZING drinks! Konstantinos is another staff member who also made our experience great due to his positive vibes, kind personality and constant jokes! They both deserve many praises for the effort they put into their work ethic! Overall, we all very much enjoyed every part of our experience and would 100% recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for giving us an unforgettable experience, will most definitely be seeing you again!

I’ll start with bad things to get them out the way because there aren’t many: The wi-fi is pretty weak. But that’s the only bad thing I would say. Great staff, great food and in general great atmospehere in the hotel. Rooms are really good looking and clean. Cleaners do a really good job to keep them clean everyday. The food keeps changing between days which is amazing and important for your apetite. Poolsite is also great because of how many loungers are there. You can find also find a bar there with bartenders who can give you drinks or even serve ice-cream. The hotel is really close to local restaurants and beaches so you won’t have to walk far. Just an amazing experience in general. I can only highly recommend. Excellent.
