This is a photogenic resort that doesn't quite live up to its projected image. There are basically four small pools, each surrounded by an outdoor ”room” made up of lovely subtropical plants. While this is quite nice, the resort has many, many guests, and you may have to pool hop a bit to find one that hasn't been taken over already. As well, the pools close at ”sunset” with no warning. My family was locked into the pool area by staff while there was still about an hour of daylight. Not only was the policy ridiculous--most hotel pools are open well into the night--but the arbitrary definition of sunset and the staff's decision to lock the gates and leave without a word to us was bizarre. We had a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment-style accommodation with a balcony. No real issues with this, but we thought (based on photos) that were booking a space with hardwood floors and received carpet. The furniture was basic rather than high-end, and it felt like the website exaggerated the quality of the rooms and furnishings to make it match the price. Another thing they don't tell you is that your balcony will be quite close to the next one, and you will consequently be able to hear your neighbors arguing, smell their cigarette smoke, etc. It's definitely not comfortable to use the balcony at the same time as a neighbor. We like the water views and the comfortable hammocks. As well, despite the drawbacks of this place, most rental rooms available in Key West are teensy-tiny single rooms barely bigger than a bed. It was nice to have sufficient space and multiple bathrooms, but I wasn't really into the ambience at this resort, especially after dealing with the staff's pool screw-up. Our stay did not feel relaxing after that experience. This place is located on the outskirts of Key West, by the way, but it is fairly close to a few convenient restaurant and shopping options. You can take a rental car into Key West and park for the day, then walk around.

Hotel had a great vibe, filled with plants and was very colorful in the lobby, a true feeling to the name, Havana cabana. The pool was the best part, so clean and had inner tubes to float around and relax. Two complimentary drink passes during check in was a plus. Food was excellent for lunch and breakfast. We went as a family trip so the only downside was there weren't a lot of kids. At one point we thought it was ”adult only” but then towards the later afternoon we started to see more kids. Rooms were clean and service was good. Definitely will stay again.

Hotel ini bersih dan kakitangannya ramah. Hotel mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga yang diperlukan kerana Covid, termasuk tiada pengemasan semasa lawatan kami. Walau bagaimanapun, kakitangan kaunter penerimaan tetamu berkomunikasi melalui teks untuk memastikan kami tidak mempunyai keperluan semasa penginapan kami. Mereka juga sangat responsif kepada teks kami.

Kami tinggal untuk berbulan madu dan menyukai segala-galanya mengenainya. Ia bersih, mereka sangat cepat membantu kami dan hanya menelefon untuk memeriksa sama ada kami memerlukan apa-apa. Suka restoran dan pantai persendirian!! Sangat mengesyorkan dan akan menempah lagi!

Hotel room was clean and comfortable during my stay! Great amenities and also great service staff! Would highly recommend to stay in Key west! Pool was great and clean as well! Except that it was lacking a hair dryer in the room, other than that all was great!

My Husband and I had a perfect 3-night stay at Marriott Beachside Resort. With our points status, we ended up getting an amazing room upgrade and complimentary daily breakfast. The food and drinks were great. While the hotel is slightly older, the rooms and property are kept immaculately cleaned. The landscaping is nice and the pool was sparkling. All of the hotel staff were friendly and professional. The resort is a good 15 minute drive to the historic downtown area, so while there a few places you can walk to around the resort, you end up using the free shuttle and water taxi to get to most activities. I highly recommend the water taxi, it’s a great boat ride to one of the popular marinas and the captain was top-notch. The shuttle runs every hour from around 8am-11pm with 2 stops downtown and the water taxi runs 3 times during the day. We used the shuttle and water taxi for all of our transportation during our stay. The free shuttle from/to the airport was really nice as well. The daily resort fee of $42 seemed worth it for all of the transportation included. The champagne at arrival, free welcome drink at the pool bar and daily Starbucks were also included. The only other thing to note is the beach area is pretty small, but that seems on par for Key West. Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel! The resort is relaxing and family-friendly.

Très bon hôtel, un peu excentré du centre ville, mais une navette est à disposition pour vous y emmener. La chambre est propre, mais cependant trop petite pour y mettre nos 4 valises. Nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner également.
