This hotel is on the outskirts of the city and has a lovely courtyard entrance. There is a pleasant swimming pool adjacent to the reception area as well as a great coffee house. The reception staff are very helpful with advice and booking of taxi and tut tut for sight seeing. The superior room is a good size with a comfy bed and a/c The room would benefit from the addition of some drawers, shelves, robe hooks for clothing etc in addition to the wardrobe. The Tv has BBC world news channel The room we had does have a balcony but not a very good view . The bathroom is nicely done but would benefit from a thermostatic valve in the shower. Breakfast has a limited buffet but a comprehensive menu for freshly cooked items There does not appear to be many restaurants within walking distance however we did eat dinner in the hotel restaurant, that was well prepared and presented meal for a very economic price and very pleasant service.

My wife and I stayed at The Iconic Hotel for 2 nights. We were in Ranong for a diving trip, had to spend one day there before getting on our liveaboard and another day at the end of the trip before flying back to Bangkok. Had no big expectations for this place. We just needed an affordable location to spend the night. It turned out to be the perfect one. Extremely clean rooms, spacious, tall ceilings, modern furniture and bathrooms. HUGE and tasty breakfast. The most service minded staff we met in a long, long while! Try the cashew nuts they sell at the coffee shop near the front desk (by the way, they serve great coffee and tea too...), we bought 5 bags after trying the first one. The hotel is located downtown, within 5 minutes from the night market. Which translates in great street food, fruit, sweets, you name it. Thank you one more time to all the staff for all the help. 1. No smart tv to connect Netflix own 2. Doesn't have a small fridge in the room for personal. Currently due to the covid this should be provided. 3. Staff are in their own world.. 4. I have requested to buy by my own a Smart tv which I offered I'll pay and let them install, but they were not bothered. 5. Rooms are good but their cleaning services not that great. 6.All day complimentary is only from 7am -10pm besides water. Some grammar correction required. I am a normal person which don't like or bother to complain.. but currently I think there are many booking for this Blu monkey and you know , just not bothered. Currently my locker, no smart tv , no laundry and it's sad for this extreme disappoinment Please do advise Trip.com 🙏❤️

I stayed here one night as part of my 2022 north - south road trip. This is a pretty typical Thai / Asian style budget hotel the likes of which can be found all over the region. It's perfectly suitable for a one night stay but it is not worthy of more than three out of five dots based on a walk-in rate of 690 THB per night. Actually, I was tempted to give it two out of five but the room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very friendly. There is some (limited) parking for those who self-drive.

Hôtel simple et propre. Chambre avec ventilo, horriblement chaude, impossible de dormir. Fenêtre ouverte invasion de moustique. C'est dommage, la chambre est propre et correcte. Bonne literie, hôtel calme dans un quartier où vous pourrez vous nourrir très facilement. Pour aller au port vous trouverez facilement des songtow sur la route principale pour 20 Baths

What a great find this place was. A beautifully restored property with an amazing central location next to the old market. There's parking, too, so if you're driving there's plenty of space to park. While there was no breakfast available at the time of writing, there are enough cafes and street stalls around to fill your belly. Not too many restaurants as such in close proximity, though, so if you're looking for something more substantial you'll have to walk a little to find somewhere. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean. Lots of room for luggage, and a decent sized bathroom. They even had light switches near the beds, always a plus in my reviews. We had a large triple room which was comfortable and quiet (at the back of the hotel). I imagine the rooms at the front can get noisy in the morning so watch out for that unless you're an early riser. There are no lifts here and no rooms on the ground floor, but you can park outside the rooms on the first floor. Great find and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in Ranong.
