Trident Hotel was a great place to stay. The hotel is tucked into a quiet corner of Kinsale so everything was walkable. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner at Wharfs Tavern twice. Food and service were excellent! We will stay here again

Terrific stay, excellent service, pleasant room (but NOT a sea view) and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had in a while and so far this year I have been to NY, Verona and Marbella hotels. Kinsal;e is so different to any other town in Ireland , i am thinking of retiring there ...

I wanted to love the Trident, but I just didn't. We were there as part of our small group tour of Ireland, and there was a second tour at the hotel at the same time. They were treated to special parking and other perks that we were not! It might just be that they were quite a bit more demanding than our group was, but it never set right with me. The rooms were beautiful with spectacular views, but customer service was sadly lacking. I would not return to the Trident.

The views are spectacular. You can watch all the sailboats come in to dock. The breakfast buffet was great, all types of choices and a meal fixed to order if desired. They were having an event there the night we stayed, the parking was a problem. The rooms were welcoming and comfortable.

Thought no AC wouldn't matter in mid-Sept, but it was very warm in the room and the window only cracked open a little. Had to use 2 fans to sleep. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly (hair on floor) and the desk did not understand or know what a bathrobe was! Breakfast was fine. Free parking.

We got to our hotel very late in the day. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The views from our room weee stunning. A little ways into town and most restaurants were closed that day we were in town. Charming little town. We saw seals from our room. Breakfast was okay. Prepaid as part of a group.

Old and tired hotel in need of renovations in my opinion. Room lacks amenities - like a coffee maker. View of the parking lot and construction. No where to plug in things. Outlet taken by lamps. King bed is twins shoved together. Noisy halls with doors slamming.

Our stay at the Trident hotel was wonderful. The view and location were fantastic, we received a map of the area upon check in, and the daily breakfast was very nice. Should we return to Kinsale, we would certainly stay at the Trident Arms again.

We have stayed at the Trident Hotel several times now, and have never been disappointed, it is a lovely place to stay in Kinsale, a simple walk around the town, convenient to restaurants etc. Rooms are bright and clean, facing the harbor, and are very comfortable. the highlight for me was Breakfast, if you need Gluten Free food, this is the perfect place for you, the best breakfast I had in Ireland..... delicious cooked food, the best sausages etc and a great selection of fruits etc etc In addition, the food in the Trident restaurant is also excellent, and well priced. we would look forward to staying here again, and recommend it one point I was unaware of, the harbour view, front facing rooms, have air conditioning, rooms at the side, the classic rooms, do not, if this is important, just be aware and book harbour view, however, there are windows that open in all rooms. Staff are lovely, kind and attentive.
