Spectrum Resort Orlando

The resort was beautiful, but the A/C didn’t work correctly. We had family members that were too hot to sleep in there rooms. Because each unit is individually owned you may NOT switch to a different unit. Maintenance came twice to look at the A/C. This was our family vacation, and it’s turning out to be miserable for some of us.There nothing worse than to sleep in a hot room . And we still have one more night to go here. I so aggravated. These no reason anyone should pay is kind of money, and be hot . I was SO excited to come here, ow I wish I had never booked this resort

This place sells itself as a higher end resort. It is not. Pictures are misleading. You need a car to get anywhere. There are stairs to get to bedrooms and nothing is handicap accessible. The pool areas close super early (5:00 pm) and are pretty poorly kept (except for the main one). Also…. - [ ] Patio door lock would not lock. We couldn’t go to bed until it was fixed for safety reasons. It was after 10:00 before anyone came. We repeatedly called and nobody answered the phone. Housekeeping should’ve known this was broken when they cleaned; they have to have done a check of the patio area and would’ve been expected to lock up. If they knew it was broken, they should’ve notified someone so it wasn’t our problem to deal with after check in. - [ ] Ice maker wouldn’t work - [ ] Garage door was broken - [ ] First place we were shown upon arrival was filthy…crumbs and chunks for chips on the carpet, food and hair on the hard floors, dirt in bathrooms, stained bathroom floors, stuff spilled down the front of the cabinets - [ ] We were only given five towels and wash cloths for the whole time we stayed. This made it necessary for us to do laundry - [ ] Very cheap toilet paper and whatnot. Dumb thing for a resort to cheap out on. - [ ] Nothing is walkable distance.

If I can give one piece of advice to anyone thinking about staying at Spectrum Resort At Reunion, it is that I would never recommend anyone to stay with them...the main reason for all the others is that if you arrive late from the park and tired you have no parking near the building you will need to walk about 15 minutes to park your car in the permitted parking lot,and with a 115°F sun boiling your head. They care so little about your stay that they are able to drive by with a golf cart, see you walking to the parking lot and not have the ability to offer you a ride.know that they just want your money and nothing else,they don't care about your comfort during your stay…to top it off every day you will find many construction cars parked in front of your building and a lot of noise early in the morning,You travel on vacation with your family to be comfortable and the place ends up causing you a lot of stress.I leave here all my repudiation for this place that made my vacation hell

We rented the two story 4 bedrooms and on the first night two of the bathrooms were clogged. Maintenance tried to correct the issue and stayed in our place until 4am. The next morning they returned and continued to work on the issue the entire day, meanwhile the water was shut off. By 4 pm not only were we transferred to a smaller room because they could not correct the problem, but we lost what we paid for: 5 beds, large upstairs area with a pool table, and the balcony. We were transferred to a a smaller 4 bedrooms with just 4 beds. This is completely unacceptable and exhausting. The hot water isn’t hot enough, and the blankets are not thick enough. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I had high hopes for this property and wanted to appreciate its excellent building and layout. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the incessant noise from the family living above us. While we're accustomed to some level of noise from upstairs neighbors, the constant running and screaming of children from dawn until dusk were beyond tolerable. Upon lodging a complaint with the front desk, we were informed that the particular apartment causing the disturbance was not part of the rental pool, rendering them unable to address the issue. Frustrated by the lack of resolution, we returned to the front desk seeking alternatives. Their initial suggestion was for us to contact the security guard, which struck me as unprofessional. After expressing our continued dissatisfaction, they proposed the option to downgrade to one of their townhomes or move to another unit they had blocked off, but at a cost—over $100 for a cleaning fee. I found it unreasonable to pay additional fees for the inconvenience caused. There is also inconsistency when it comes to answering emails. My mails were only looked at when I referenced them at the end of our stay. Beyond the noise problem, we discovered soiled sheets and pillowcases, and encountered two cockroaches a day before our departure. Despite the property's aesthetic appeal, there are evident issues that need addressing, and a shift in focus towards customer satisfaction is crucial instead of prioritizing apartment owners.

Our stay has been one that has left a bitter taste in our mouths in all our years of travel. Firstly, when we arrived at the resort, we were that our bill was now about $3,600 including the caution fee charge of $500. We were all surprised because the booking we received was over $2,000. At the check-in desk, they began to state that they sent that after our initial booking of over $2,000, which was an incorrect bill, and sent by a former email that they no longer use. This was a ridiculous statement because how can a company send out wrong billings to customers with a huge difference in price???? After our complaint, the person at the desk in the name of Robert Monaey called his manager who then resolved to give us our original booking fee of over $2,000. Second issue: We asked for our room to be cleaned and they said they have two packages: TOUCH-UP and the FULL CLEANING. I then proceeded to request for the full cleaning. I later received a message saying they would have to do a deep cleaning, saying the house required deep cleaning. This was another issue seeing as they only gave us two package options for cleaning. We declined to go for deep cleaning but was then informed that cleaning had already been done and they will charge only the amount for FULL CLEANING. Prior to cleaning, I asked that the charges be put on the card on file. Unfortunately, the card didn’t go through and the payment must have been declined. I was sent a message that the card declined but didn’t see it until very late at night because we had gone out and didn’t get home until very late at night. My phone had died and I didn’t see this message quickly. The message stated that our payment didn’t go through and we could be locked out. Due to this, they then proceeded to lock us out of the apartment by changing the codes. We had children of ages 2,4 and 7 and grand-parents. The outstanding payment could have easily been sorted out in the morning seeing as they don’t even have anyone available at night. I am utterly surprised that a hospitality facility would not have people to attend to guests for 24 hours. Luckily my dad was in the apartment and we were able to get into the apartment. The next day, you then proceeded to tell me that they found blood-stained sheets, and they discarded them. Who just discards sheets? We were told we had to pay over $200 for bedsheets. We were informed that we had to pay for the blood-stained sheets. We have never heard of this all-Guests stain sheets all the time, I have never once seen guests being asked to replace bedsheets. One of the kids got a nosebleed during the night which led to the blood stain. Those stains are easily removable by washing and with the use of a good bleaching agent. Third issue: To even complicate matters further, upon our exit, we were charged for: 1. Excessive cleaning- can you explain what that even means because I am wondering if I ought to clean the house before leaving??? 2. Missing pillow cases: which no

It's a house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms 2 floors. There is living decent living room with open kitchen area all luxury furniture and a garage attached to the house. The view to the golf play area with Garden and tarrace you can sit and enjoy view the housekeeping under request. The resort got Waterpark and a huge luxury pool in the reception area and also 2 restaurants. P. S everything I mentioned not a walkable must be by car. Near by resort there is grocery and restaurants coffee shop.

The privately owned properties are great - lots of space, great appliances, amazingly comfortable beds and a wonderful pool area however it's not a resort because there is only one pool available*, no grocery store on site and the *amenities officially offered at Spectrum and advertised as such are in fact at Encore Resort which is a 5-10 min drive away from Spectrum. Unless you have a car to drive to Encore for overpriced groceries or drive 12 minutes to the closest supermarket i.e. the busiest and most disorganised Wallmart that even the locals complain about, you are stuck with nothing in close reach. Not even salt, pepper or tea bags are provided in any of the properties at Spectrum because according to the Club Manager, "owners don't want rodents". Guests are also told prior to arrival that grocery packs/welcome packs cannot be provided ahead of checkin but after we checked-in and having spent an appalling 3 hours in Wallmart (following a 5 hour drive from Miami) we were informed by the Club House Manager that in fact grocery packs can be pre-ordered! The property owners are so let down by the incompetent team that "manage" their homes and the resort that they purchased properties on. If I could give 0 stars for the service we received I would. Whatever you do, do not stay at Spectrum resort if there is a threat of a thunder storm. The Club House manager took it upon himself to close the pool area for over 4 hours because of a lightening strike 12 miles away. Suffice to say no rain, no wind, no lightening and no thunder came anywhere near Spectrum. The Reunion waterpark and pool which is overlooked by Spectrum opened as did Universal and Disney but the jobsworth at Spectrum wanted to play God it seems much to the annoyance of not only me and my family but others that wondered what he was playing at. He should upgrade his "lightening app" to one that is more reliable, get an understanding of weather patterns, find it in himself to apply some common sense or confer with somebody that actually possesses some! The staff only "work" from 9am until 6pm so if there is a problem with one of the privately owned condos/townhouses outside of those hours you can expect to wait at least 5 hours for a response and even then a response that is far from polite. If there is a problem at the weekend or if you have a check-in at a weekend outside of those hours be prepared to be made to feel guilty, unwanted and a burden due to staff shortages! If an issue arises after 5pm on a week day or on a weekend expect not only to wait 5+ hours for a response but to also receive an intrusive call at 11.30pm suggesting that "you either move now (from a condo that was not rentable according to their own engineers who spent 3 hours in our condo because the aircon had failed) or not at all".
