Isara Lanta Resort Hab auf der Anlage eine Habe eine Woche gewohnt in einem der beiden vorderen Bungalows. Die Bungalows wurden jeden Tag mit Liebe und mit gründlicher Sauberkeit rein gehalten. Das Essen vor Ort was sehr gut, Sogar Selbstgemachte Würstl und Leberkas wurden serviert. Das Traditionelle Thai Essen war auch besonders hervorragend. Abends noch einen Absacker an der einladenden Bar war fast ein muss. Auch Fußballbegeisterte kommen hier auf ohre Kosten. Mein besonderer Dank gilt Penny dem Herzstück der Anlage. Denny an der Bar. Natürlich auch dem Besitzer Robert, der sehr engagiert sich um die Belange seiner Gäste kümmert. Komme gerne wieder.

Zu empfehlen sind auf jedenfall die beiden Villen mit Meerblick. Schön, relativ sauber, vernüftig ausgestattet aber vergleichsweise teuer. Die Badewanne bzw. der Duschevorhang im Duschbereich sind eher Geschmacksache. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist in unserem Fall nahezu ausreichend, hätte aber noch genügend Luft nach oben. Beispielsweise gibt es keine Kuchen usw. Das Personal ist meist freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Sensationell ist der wunderbare Strand und der Meerzugang. Fazit: schönes Resort und waren wahrscheinlich nicht das letzte Mal hier

Tamarind Twin resort is a very comfortable resort, clean, modern large rooms, very comfortable beds, plenty of storage space & a nice bathroom, the hot water is hot just not very fast coming out of the shower. The staff are friendly & very helpful. Breakfast is available at a cute little cafe 50m away at very reasonable prices & good food. Tamarind is easy to find, they also hire scooters & about 10mins by scooter from Ban Saladan port/town. Also lots of Tuk Tuks around if you need a taxi. The resort is walking distance around 100mtrs from the beautiful Long Beach of white sand & turquoise sea. The resort also has a nice pool. Definitely would stay again.

The bungalows are very nice with a great little sitting area on the porch, including a hammock to chill.
Better yet, you can hear the ocean from said balcony. Besides that the reception can also help you with booking of any of the trips you may be into around the island and they have a set of their own motorbikes for rent.

We planned to stay a few days but ended up staying for a week. The cottages are small ish but very clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for me when I travel. A lovely little veranda outside (with electric plugs) , and on some days I put the fan there and did some work on my laptop. The beach is 5 minute walk with a few restaurants and cafés along the way. The owner and his friend Suzan are really laid back and helpful. We booked our trips, scooters and laundry service there and prices were better than at any of the nearby agencies. No breakfast facilities but there are multiple breakfast places 2 min away. It's not a 5 star resort but we had everything we needed: a comfortable, clean place by probably the best swimming beach in Lanta.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Firstly the staff on the desk were very welcoming and collected our bags from the door and delivered them to our room. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the check in process was effortless and very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool and beach were a 2 min walk from our door and the beach restaurant serves excellent food. There were no issues during our stay and I was able to rent a bike from the hotel reception which arrived in 5 mins which was also a very efficient service. After checking out a staff member dropped us to the pier where we continued our journey. Shortly after checking out the manager of the hotel (never got his name) emailed me to say I had managed to leave my €300 camera behind in the room. He rang me to organise how to get the camera back to me and went to the effort of bubble wrapping, and boxing up my camera to be delivered to Koh Phi Phi on the same day and rang me during each stage to keep me in the loop as to where my camera is. Once the camera arrived on the island he rang me to tell me where I was able to collect it. This level of customer service cannot go unrecognised and he asked for nothing in return. I can’t urge travellers enough to stay in this hotel. I will be returning 100%. Thank you very much Lanta Staff & Manager!

One of the best stays I've had the pleasure of experiencing! The rooms were tidy, spacious and very nice, with water bottles being brought to you every morning. I loved how comfortable the bed was, and I can't think of anyway how the room could have been better. Additionally the people running the place are some of the loveliest people I've ever met, particularly the owner/person at the front desk, Win. I really enjoyed chatting with Win, and he was one of the most attentive and helpful people I have ever met. He also helped me out with renting a scooter, which made my stay in Koh Lanta even more enjoyable. It was always nice to walk in or out of the hotel, as there was always a group of kids watching tv on the couch, who really created a cozy atmosphere, or the owner was there smiling and asking how your day has been so far. I was there for only 4 nights, but could have easily stayed for many more, and I was sad to leave the place. I really really could not recommend this place enough, and will try to visit it again someday, even to just greet Win.

The breakfast is good but could be better for 5 stars hotel.
The only problem of the hotel is the location, you must rent a car or bike to go outside as the hotel is far away from everything.
But good choice for just relaxing

Bilik-biliknya luas, direka bentuk dengan indah dan menyediakan oasis yang sempurna selepas seharian pengembaraan yang direndam matahari. Akses pantai adalah tiada tandingannya, dengan pasir putih bersih dan air jernih kristal hanya beberapa langkah jauhnya. Kami menikmati makanan laut yang lazat di restoran tepi pantai hotel, menikmati setiap suapan sambil menyaksikan matahari terbenam yang menakjubkan. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan yang melebihi semua jangkaan. Kami tidak sabar untuk kembali!

Seule bémol : Nous sommes venus en basse saison, et nous avons demandé à l’hôtel de nous organiser un transfert sur une île d’à côté. c’était malheureusement assez cher, je pense que l’hôtel se fait un bon bénéfice. je pense qu’il est préférable de réserver par d’autres moyens

LL8277IZpeterjFinally got a chance to stay for a couple of days, prices have been slashed and two nights including breakfast was less than a single night in low season before Covid. We had the first day all to ourselves, no other guests, drawback is that no restaurant open for anything other than breakfast. Room was beachside and showing its age a little but clean and everything working. Be prepared to exercise if you have beachside room, the walk to anywhere is uphill and I do mean uphill, gives you exercise before you get to the pool. Overall very good, not five star but excellent value.

PPengguna TetamuPerfect view, spectacular food and the staff was absolutely amazing. I rarely write reviews. But this place deserves a good one. Cliff Lanta does thai food in a classy way that fits perfectly with the view. The massaman is especially amazing. Not a bad seat in the restaurant. The staff are all smiles and are so absolutely sweet. Make you feel very welcome and at home in paradise. PLUS, the rooms have a bath on the balcony overlooking the cliff that is arguably the best sunset view on the island. You do have to go down a few steps to get to the beach. But so easy and close. 1 minute walk down. Plus the beach is quite empty compared to other beaches and just as beautiful. The beds are quite soft...which, if you travel in thailand much, you know is sometimes rare. Great stay and/or restaurant.

PPengguna TetamuWe chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several,pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.

- Staff are very nice and friendly.
- Really listen to feedback - last time I had suggested water dispensers to save on plastic, when we returned for this trip (only 2 weeks later) there was now one on each floor! This was amazing to see and I'm so glad the hotel is taking steps to be more eco friendly, so thank you!
- The room was much bigger than it looks, and has a large desk with a chair.
- Strong, reliable WiFi.
- Very clean.
- On our previous trip, we were able to check in early at no extra cost which we really appreciated :)
- Room includes a fridge.
- Very close to a 7-eleven and a few restaurants, although we didn't go to that particular stretch of beach it is also close to a beach, located in a more quiet area in the centre of the island making it easy to visit the north and south (but, the location does require you to have a motorbike to get around!).
- Good, strong air con.
- Value for money is very good.
The only negative during our stay was that at one point my boyfriend's shoes were nowhere to be found in the lobby, (as per Thai culture, you must leave them outside before entering the guest house), and it turned out another guest / neighbour had 'borrowed' them. Luckily they had only gone to the shop and so we weren't without the shoes for long, but it still wasn't ideal... Not the fault of the owner, but perhaps a sign requesting people to not do this? Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back if we visit Koh Lanta again!

PPengguna TetamuWe loved our stay here! We originally only booked 2 nights but ended up staying for another 4 because we loved it so much. The host and all the staff were so friendly and kind! The host even made the whole hotel food and we all ate together - it was delicious and so much fun! The room we had was very nice and we thought the beds were comfortable especially for the price. You can rent mopeds, get your laundry done and he can even help you book all your transfers and day trips at really good rates! It was a really great location with lots of great places to eat nearby. It was also a 2 minute walk to The Sound Shack which is a lovely beach bar. We definitely plan to come back and stay here again!

PPengguna TetamuFirstly I need to mention the wonderful staff in reception and breakfast as they were friendly and helpful during our visit. We stayed in the large building and had a room with 2 large beds, shower and a shared balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel grounds are pretty, the pool is a decent size and very clean and it is only a short walk to long beach. There are also bungalows available on the property. The hotel offers a good laundry service which is inexpensive and they also organise travel for you. The breakfast was made to order and there were several choices including cereals, eggs fried, omelettes, pancakes, toast and fruit. I have read the other reviews so it may be that we were unlucky with our room as the first day we found the shower tiles to be dirty with brown marks which I cleaned myself and the bed was not made properly. The air conditioner did not perform well and as soon as you left the room it went off as you only have one key. The toilet did not flush well and the shower head would not stay on the wall but the water was warm enough. The maids clean and provide towels every two days but this was not a problem as they left water and toilet rolls outside the door. There was only one shampoo sachet and a very small soap provided but there are nearby minimarts to buy shower gels etc..The pool area had about 16 beds and 3 bean bags which was not sufficient at times because the hotel was full. The pool is also shared with the Tamarind Hotel behind. The picture of the pool area shows sunshade umbrellas but there were none at all so from midday you were in full sun. However the price we paid was good for what we received and we did enjoy our stay apart from the small issues mentioned.

CChris SwedenWe moved to the resort after another not so good experience for one night on another beach. The resort is nicely located on the beach we think is the nicest to stay at if you do not want the extremely quiet experience. It is also conveniently located close to town. The breakfast buffet is very good, the pool areas great and the beach as well. The restaurant offers a dinner buffet which I think needs rethinking. We did not try the gym or the massage services which seemed expensive though. The resort is very green and on the plus side they have some resident monitor lizard which they sometimes feed close to the breakfast area. The rooms are ok but not great and could perhaps be cleaned more thoroughly. However, after intending to stay 4 nights we stay 4 nights so it was a good experience after all. We were not really impressed by the island initially but it grew on us and now we actually like it and its vibe along the beach at night a lot.

We stayed here in early January. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space (and we don't travel lite),the bathroom was also a good size, we stayed in a luxury bungalow near the beach. There was lots of choice of food at breakfast time including Thai. The staff at breakfast were always checking that the food containers were full, a member of the staff we got talking to was a lovely man called P Lung and he also speaks very good English, he spoke to us most days. We had a few minor problems during our holiday but when we reported them to reception they were dealt with very quickly indeed. I would like to make a constructive comment or two, I think that every pair of sunbeds should have an umbrella with them and also to releive the pressure on the pool near the restaurant (nearly all the sunbeds were taken by 9.00am) more sunbeds and umbrellas could be put around the newer pool as I only counted 9 pairs of sunbeds and 4 umbrellas with lots of unused space. The 7.00am to 7.00pm rule should be strictly enforced. This hotel overall is good value for money but very popular with families with children who some parents allow them to run around and make a lot of noise without telling them to be a little bit more quiet.
