Decent hotel to stay in kodai with best amenities. Service is excellent, especially Mr Anand & Mr Arun are very cordial. Location is apt for this hotel , very near to tourist spots, shopping, boating, ATMs etc Overall a best hotel to choose if you are visiting Kodaikanal

It’s always a pleasure to return to the Carton. The enchanting location on the lake is of course its USP, but Mr Rajkumar , Mr Antony and the Carlton team provide exceptional service too. The food is great and the rooms are comfortable . The best part is sitting on the balcony with a book, or your phone, and gaze into the lake every now and then! Highly recommend it!

Very nice service and well maintained property. Very courteous staff and a special thanks to Anand for his guidance on local attractions and amenities. Definitely will recommend and will consider again when in Kodaikanal. Also breakfast and dinner arrangments were very good!

It was the great stay with Beautiful Scenery view. Room service was good. Anand and Senrayan cooperated well through the stay. Food was great ***** with aminities was good and Staff was very cooperative. Thank you for the awesome stay. Will definitely see next time!

Excellent location, great food, best of facilities and most courteous staff. We had a great time. We went for super deluxe lake view room, and it was absolutely fantastic, with the balcony overlooking the lawn and lake, offering most scenic and picturesque view. Recreation options are reasonably good. Air hockey, pool are paid services while others can be enjoyed free of cost. Nice massage and spa facilities, appreciate Rakhi for the excellent pain relief Ayurvedic massage. The best part is the boating zones right at the hotel gate, just walk over and book for boating at the Kodai lake, yet another beautiful experience. The marketplace is at walking distance from the hotel, and there are a few ******* shops as well. The only issue was the noise interference from adjacent room as there is a door connecting most of the rooms. We couldn't have a restful sleep due to the TV volume from the room next door once the other room had guests coming in. This was disappointing. However, when brought to the attention of the Front desk, they were helpful, and we were offered a change of room to one of the 2-3 rooms in that category, which don't have a connecting door. They also helped shift the room the very next morning. Breakfast and dinner buffet spread was good and restaurant staff were very polite, helpful and courteous, with quite prompt services. However, Travel Desk wasn't quite well informed per our experience, better do to your own research, which we did and that helped us . All in all, it is on the expensive side but worth the spend. Warm stay, appealing food and cordial staff... Simran, Karthik, Sujith and the staffs in the restaurant were really helpful and hospitable. One of the best room with aesthetic view of the beautiful lake... Will surely be in the list for the next trip. Enjoyed the stay.
