One of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The service from staff was consistently incredible, and the buffet breakfast was good. Would absolutely return to such a calm and picturesque location. Personal favourite was the but 1 get 1 free happy hour on the beach from 4-6pm every day!

We stayed here for our honeymoon (3 nights) and chose this hotel expecting a luxury experience. It was the most expensive hotel of our trip, but sadly – also the most disappointing. The hotel is poorly maintained with low service standards. Our room looked nice, but was quickly filled with flies coming out of the sinks. The staff tried to fix it, but the problem returned. They even left our room open and unlocked for a full day while we were out. A lizard got into our room after housekeeping, kept us up all night, and we were told to wait until morning to change rooms. The pool looks great in pictures but was dirty and moldy in reality. Breakfast in both restaurants was full of flies, and basic items like almond milk or fruit were constantly missing — only provided after we insisted. Staff also gave confusing excuses, like “the coffee machine is broken” — and then served us coffee anyway. If you’re coming to take photos for Instagram, this place might suit you. But if you’re looking for real luxury and comfort — look elsewhere. Bottom line: overpriced and not worth it. There are far better hotels in Koh Samui.

We recently stayed at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming 😃 We'd like to give a special shoutout to the Hotel Manager, Boky, and her amazing team for their exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, which truly enhanced our stay. Initially, we didn’t realize we had booked the wrong room, but Boky kindly upgraded us to an Oceanfront suite. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view! We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, and the service was amazing. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made each visit memorable and special. We travel often, but this stay stood out because of the exceptional people who went out of their way to make our time memorable. Thank you to everyone at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort, we’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending you to family and friends! 🥰

Tldr: If you are looking for an unforgettable stay where service went above and beyond, this is where it is. Flew to Koh Samui and stayed here for 3 nights for our anniversary despite my partner being freshly discharged from the hospital. He had issues with his mobility and every single staff took care of us really well whenever they see us within the compound. 🥹 Huge shout out to the manager Erwin (whom spotted my partner in the pool and came to give us crutches because he couldnt bear seeing my partner limping anymore 😂), Boxy (always constantly on the lookout for us), Reyana (our check in staff whom went beyond to adhere to my nonsense requests) and the whole team for their impeccable service! You guys deserve the recognition. My partner and I are already looking forward to come back here next year to celebrate our anniversary again. Thank you, team Sala Samui!! ❤️

NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL AND HOTELS ARE FULL OF RUDE LOUD AND BAD MANNERED SELF ENTITLED ARROGANT ISRELI GUESTS WHO MAKE THE EXPERIENCE EVEN WORSE

This resort offers a relaxing experience, and the breakfast is quite delicious.

The hotel is far from Chaweng, you have to walk 20 minutes or take a taxi which costs between 250-300 baht. We requested a late check-out of 3 hours and the hotel insisted on charging us the cost of half a night which is 11000 baht. It felt like they were taking advantage of the situation. It's a shame. I will never go back there and I will not recommend it either.

We went on our honeymoon, and everything was fantastic and smooth. From check-in to check-out, the staff at Sala ensured we had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with mini macarons, a towelette, and coconut water. The check-in process was exciting, as we could choose our pillow types and room scent. Once we were checked in, the staff prepared a flower bath for us. They also provided an in-house app for easier requests and questions, just a chat away. During our five-day stay, room service would come in around 6 p.m. to check on us, make our bed, and leave us a "goodnight drink" to help us sleep. They made sure we were well taken care of. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a 24-hour shop just a minute away and within walking distance of the central shopping center. The taxi service was easy, and breakfast was nice, with the option for halal meals (no pork or alcohol served).

Hotel is near the beach. Very nice design. Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice too.
