ideal location, still very clean with excellent house keeping. Disapointed this visit as breakfast has gone buffet style with rubbish bacon and rubbish sausage, Hot food is invariably cold or luke warm with cold plates, cold food like ham and cheese is open to the flies etc, wouldnt be rocket science to have this covered over. Overall the current breakfast offering is quite good as regards choices , but cold, hot food is a very definate no no for me. Very good ,clean and professional..The hotel owns his own restaurant and mini market. Close to the sandy beach of the centre of tingaki! Lovely pool with cocktail bar. More no need to have a special holidays! Quietly and friendly atmosphere!

My mum has been going to Mythos Suites for years and raves about it. My husband and I decided to try it out with our toddler in may. We booked a single room with balcony on a bed and breakfast basis on the ground floor - room 2. We booked with Jet2. Firstly we took a coach transfer from the airport and were horrified that it took over an hour. When we arrived, Kostas was on reception and booked us in after we paid the room tax (€21) On first impressions the hotel looked amazing. It was spotlessly clean and sleek, tiled floors and walls, beautiful Bougainvillea growing over the bar pergola, pool lit up. The hotel entrance is tucked away between a supermarket and VASILIS restaurant which is also part of the hotel. There was a mix of English, Dutch and German guests. We got into the room and were pleasantly surprised. The room had a basic kitchenette with sink, microwave and kettle. There were two TVs in the room - one in the living area and one in the bedroom. We had a safe, a bathroom with a walk in shower unit. The plumbing can’t cope with loo roll so don’t flush! They had provided a travel cot and the bed was MASSIVE. The patio doors also had a fly screen and the air con was excellent. The room looked out towards the sea but not much could be seen at ground level. It’s important to note that the rooms on ground level are slightly below ground, however, there was a ramp that assists with wheelchair / pushchair access. The food selection at breakfast was excellent. Despite an email being sent about no longer serving British food, they provided lots of options including meats, cheeses, fruit, bread, eggs, mushrooms, beans, yoghurt, cereal and plenty more. You could eat something different daily. The toaster was initially broken but this was replaced within a few days. Sia reserved our table for us every day and all of the restaurant staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The restaurant and high chairs were spotlessly clean. In the restaurant were some swallow nests and whilst we were there, the baby birds fledged. There were a few near misses by birds flying at our heads to their nests but it was lovely to see them. The pool was unheated and being so early in the season was quite cold. The child’s pool was perfectly fine for 1-2 kids. We never had a problem getting a sunbed but again, early in the season. The hotel don’t like you eating food/drink from elsewhere and eating around the pool and there’s a sign up on the wall. That being said no one ever said anything and I don’t think it’s policed much. There’s a pool bar which serves burgers, chips, salads and snacks along with drinks. The restaurant (VASILIS) was great and we ate there most of the time as the food was good and it was convenient. The prices were also really competitive. Definitely worth trying the pizzas from their pizza oven. The kids meals were huge. The maids were great, they were so friendly and made towel animals on our bed. They came in daily. Outside

We have stayed at Mythos Hotel before and always enjoyed our time there,and this time was no different we love it even more there have been a few changes all for the good but this time my husband is a wheelchair user but the Mythos is good for us as the room was on the ground floor and and the hotel was very accommodating in helping us in anyway they could. The rooms are perfect for wheelchair users. The beds really comfortable. Walk in shower in the good sized bathroom and towels changed regularly. A lovely patio area with table and chairs looking out to a pool or sea view. kitchen area with a microwave,kettle and a fridge and also a TV both in the bedroom and kitchen area. We were B+B the restauarant serves a variety of breakfast items from continental to full english lots of fruit and breads to choose from you really can,t go wrong .They also have a good snacks/brunch menu as well as greek speciallity meals.The pool area has lots of sun loungers and a pool bar .All in all this hotel was perfect for us

We returned here after 9 years (we had previously been 4 times) What can I say! We don’t know why on earth we hadn’t returned sooner… the place is fabulous and spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming and wonderful and in particular a huge thank you to Sia who served our delicious breakfast daily with a smile … such a lovely warm and kind lady. All staff are great here Food is delicious, apartments immaculate and the place is the most chilled out and relaxing place … The local area is also fabulous and perfect for a chilled holiday .. The beach is also beautiful..we won’t leave it another 9 years before returning.. Thank you to George and the Mythos Team … we’ll be back 😊

The best hotel to stop at in Tigaki, Kos. Everything is spotless from the rooms to the hotel it’s self. The staff are always very welcoming and cheerful, they are always there if you ever need anything . Their restaurant is amazing, the quality and quantity of the food is immaculate, always empty plates, the staff are constantly asking if there is anything else you would like to drink/eat and i just couldn’t recommend enough. I would love to give over 5 stars if I could!

For the first time in many a year we didn’t stay here but used it most of the time we are however staying in September it has not lost any of its usual touches I suspect because of Covid over the last few years there is one or two little cracks showing…. However nothing too serious but I’m sure George will put right in the very near future looking forward to returning in September will always be our favourite choice thank you to everybody there and to Kostas for displaying his nuts on the bar most evenings 😄

I have been fortunate to travel a lot in my life and I have never been more positive about a place that the Mythos apartments. There is simply no reason to consider staying anywhere else if you want to use Tigaki as a base. The apartments are clean bright and modern with a basic kitchen. Serviced every single day the apartments wrap around a lovely medium sized pool with ample seating poolside and on a grass area. The front of the property is the restaurant open from 8.15 am till late. The restaurant and staff are magic. Reasonably priced and good food with great genuine service. We were early in the season and everywhere was pretty quiet which maybe added to the enjoyment but the restaurant was busy, it seemed to be the place that lots of non residents were attracted to. Place really is magic and perfect for a relaxing chill by the pool break. Tigaki itself is a bit tame with really only one street with anything to offer, beach is 5 mins walk away and is lovely. KOS capital is a 20 minute bus ride away and is really worth a visit to just break up the sunbathing and maybe get a bit more excitement. If travelling with a tour company, pay the extra and get a cab, the winding journey from the airport stopping at every hotel on the way is pretty dull. Only good thing about the bus journey is that you see the other hotels and it will just reinforce what a magic choice you have made choosing the Mythos apartments.

I have returned from staying at the Mythos Hotel today. I was a solo traveller and was very apprehensive about going on my own, but once I arrived, I felt very safe and comfortable and enjoyed my break. The location is fabulous, everything on the doorstep. Beach close by and several bars and restaurants and shops. It was the start of the season so not everywhere was open, but that didn't matter. The room (Junior Suite) was outstanding, newly refurbished and very modern, bed was very comfortable, plenty of plug sockets. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, thank you for making me feel welcome and for your all your help. I ate in the onsite restaurant a few times and the food was delicious. It cost €2.10 on the bus to Kos Town or €17 in a taxi. There is roadworks outside the hotel, but these are nearing completion and didn't affect my stay (only the airport transfer couldn't drop off directly outside). I am not one for going back to the same place, as I like to explore, but I would definitely consider a return to this hotel in the future.
