Labranda Marine Aquapark

We have just returned home from 11 nights in Kos, our first 5 nights were spent here, but unfortunately I was informed by the tui rep on the Wednesday evening that we were being moved hotels the following day, as the owners of Labranda had actually filed for bankruptcy. The hotel had just had a massive refurbishment and it was stunning, all the staff were amazing and helpful, and the kids club/entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic. We left the hotel, feeling rather sad that we didn't get to finish our holiday there, and sad for all of the staff. It was such a shame, as we were having a lovely holiday.

Had a brilliant holiday at this hotel. It has been recently refurbished and everywhere is lovely and modern from arriving in the lobby it was really lovely. Room was minimalist and spotlessly clean. The pools were the highlight my children loved the slides and the wave pool. Loved that it was beach front for the sea views and I got up early a few mornings and enjoyed a coffee on by the sea however we walked up to sandy beach 10 mins walks if that rather that play on the beach as it was less stony. Bus into kos town cheap and kos town lovely, we did the yellow submarine boat trip which was fabulous, we also did a horse riding trip erikas horse farm highly recommend. Food we found great, breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked great, pancake station that my children loved, I enjoyed the yogurt and dried fruit and toast with eggs most days, my daughter loved the hash browns we only ate lunch in the restaurant twice as the snack bar by the pool was easier (not the best selection by the pool but was enough) evening meal was food pizzas were delicious my children loved the pizza and pasta station, we always enjoyed the cooked meat, Rooftop bar a lovely place to take in the sunset views and had a very chic feel Overall a great holiday and the staff were also friendly. Our children loved the lifeguard (Banos I think his name was!) and he was very good with the children. I’d recommend this hotel, probably won’t go back as we like to try new places but I’m definitely glad we went.

One of the best parts of our holiday was the hospitality of Flora the bar manager for her fantastic show stopping cocktails. She knows them all and can invent a few of her own, but don't try and drink her under the table or you'll be f**ked. So come and have a go.

Really nice rooms, newly refurbished. Food was good, especially the Greek & Italian a la carte. The Lotus Bar & pool were really great, With Lylian being the perfect hist, very friendly and always smiling. I would certainly recommend it here.

We have just returned from 10 days at LABRANDA marine (May 24) and we had an amazing time. The rooms were absolutely immaculate, clean, modern, well equipped. The pools were amazing for my children (5&9). The hotel just had so much to offer. Food was good always something that everyone liked. But our favourite part was the safe - bar staff, lifeguards, cleaners, reception, waiting staff were all absolutely amazing and so kind and friendly. Special shout out the entertainment team who made my children’s holiday the best. They loved kids club, mini disco and all the fab things the team did. They were very sad to say bye to Zoe & Carla as they really did make such a fun time for them. Overall a fabulous holiday would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

This was my first holiday abroad on my own with my 2 children, aged 9 and 6. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. It was just fantastic from start to finish and we were so sad to leave. The only thing I would make a suggestion on would be to have self serve beer and wine in the restaurant at dinner. I believe the staff are expected to serve you at your table because when people were queuing at the bar to get their drinks (which were more than happy to do), there was a few eye rolls between staff members. The staff are just far too busy clearing tables and resetting them to do this as well. I have seen it in most hotels I have stayed at and it works very well and we don’t mind going to get our own drinks. It seems like immense pressure for the staff when they are already extremely busy. That would be my only suggestion and I have used the word suggestion as it isn’t a criticism. The hotel is just phenomenal. Thank you so much Labranda Marine for allowing us to make such amazing memories. We will be back one day!!

Great family holiday 14 of us stayed end of may into June for a fabulous week rooms were brilliant loads of room food was the best all inclusive I’ve ever had. Very sad to see it closed would have returned only thing that let hotel down was location.

Absolutely love this hotel, we have been 3 years in a row and took family with us this year who also loved it. Tge pool area is perfect for all ages and so safe, the lifeguards on the slides are great. Everyone always found a range of food to eat and out eldest loved trying new food there. Absolutely gutted that it is closed! Any news on if it is going open again under a different company??

This resort falls short of its "4-star" rating with below-average quality and service. Arrival: The start was good; they promised our room in an hour and offered lunch, part of our full-service plan. However, after lunch, communication issues and excuses delayed our room access by an extra hour. Room: The room was decent, even above average, with AC, two bedrooms, and two TVs. The only issue was a detached shower drain, but it was manageable. Food: The food quality brought the experience down. Items like cold, flavorless chicken and unseasoned dishes disappointed us. Only the desserts and yogurt were decent. Atmosphere in the Dining Hall: The dining hall felt more like a crowded food court than a premium or peaceful restaurant. Noise from kids was a problem due to the lack of barriers. Beach and Aquapark: The beach had rocky areas, causing minor injuries. However, it was good for scuba diving, with clear water and plenty of fish. The aquapark was visually appealing and had positive feedback, but I couldn't enjoy it much due to a recent injury. Beachside Restaurant and Bar: The food at the beachside restaurant was disappointing, with dry baked goods and fries. Limited options, but good wings and fries. Cats: There were many cats around, but you can find similar experiences elsewhere with better service. Cats are cool, though! Noise at Night: A loud party by the pool on our first night disrupted our sleep. Summary: This resort isn't exceptional but serves as a decent escape from the cold. It's okay, but nothing special.
