Ulasan Historic Boutique Hotel Cattaro

I am a frequent global business traveler and rarely write reviews. I was trying to dispute a hotel charge for a private tour booked which came to be over 4 times the cost quoted. These are the email messages I have received from the hotel “pussy”, “slut.” For such a reputable city, the hotel should really be ashamed of itself for such remarks. If you don’t believe travelers deserve to be called such names, don’t choose Hotel Cattaro.

The staff was so kind. Very nice atomsphere. I will be able to stay again in the future!

十分後悔為了風情特色專門訂的這個酒店因為真的三天兩夜都沒有睡好，樓下餐廳酒吧咖啡廳非常吵（這個也還説得過去因為最晚十二點樓下也消停了），最髮指的是每天清晨五六點就聽到外面轟隆隆的大卡車碾過運輸裝卸的聲音，特別響，每天清晨都要這樣痛苦驚醒。窗户隔音形同虛設任何噪音真的都要悉數全收。酒店房間內裝修、設施真的毫無質感跟圖片不符，完全是我們國內老招待所水平，最難受的是空調開到盡頭也完全不涼快，就那種因設施太老制動不行的感覺，兩千多一天住的太難受了☹️還想吐槽的是本來覺得會喜歡的雙開門窗直出陽台，美則美矣，但居然是完全跟本層所有房間的陽台都是連通的！不明白設計師什麼腦回路這個一點安全感都沒有，等於説但凡開着門窗那旁邊住的什麼人想爬進來你屋裡簡直輕而易舉，期間我一扇窗卡住了我出去修理了一下隔壁還有個出來乘涼的男人可能好心問了一句Can I help? 人家就算好心那我也不敢搭茬呀趕緊弄好爬進屋鎖門了。是這邊治安太好了嗎？那就當作我個人沒有安全感吧……整個酒店最好的方面是人員服務態度，前台姑娘們非常nice，需求應對及時、照顧到位，給我安排的送機車輛也超級好。早餐餐廳不錯，侍應們都超級好。

環境很好，非常復古，位置非常好，就在古城入口處，早餐是半自助，需要點餐，就餐環境一流，服務熱情，推薦

酒店是城牆的一部分，古老而傳統的裝修風格，出行非常方便，服務人員非常熱情，幫助我們訂船訂車還價格便宜，早餐豐盛，熱水好，唯一的建議是浴缸旁可以裝兩個把手減少滑倒風險。非常暖心的酒店！

位置極佳，出入方便，就是房間沒有電梯，沒有被子，空調不是很好，但是陽台風景很好可以看到遠處城牆，晚上開窗看很有氛圍，雖然下面是廣場但是玻璃門關了後隔音很好

歷史感十足，房間乾淨寬敞舒適，會一直選擇，謝謝！

Must stay for your Kotor visit. Staff is delightful and their location is unbeatable. Loved my breakfast dining at Cattaro's terrace. I recommend their al fresco restaurant which has very nice pasta dishes and wine. The staff can arrange taxi pick ups and excursions. Be aware that cars cannot go inside the old city and therefore cannot drop guests off in front of the hotel. Plan accordingly.

I decided to visit Montenegro with my 3 kids during mid July 2024, after reading many reviews we decided to stay at Historic Boutique Cattaro Hotel Kotor. I am glade we made this decision, the hotel is extremely clean and location is excellent just next to the Kotor Old Town Sea Gate. The breakfast is decent, you can find breads and pastry, eggs, cheese, cold meats, pastry, etc. Special thanks to Tanja, Andrijana, and Milan for being so friendly to me and my kids, they are well trained in hospitality. These three amazing staff helped me a lot. I have to add that all rooms are sound proof, no matter what happens in the street you cannot hear it inside the room. The only downside from my point view as someone visiting from Dubai is the air conditioner, yes they are good and functioning but not as strong as we middle eastern would love. Overall, I really enjoyed this hotel and support provided to me. By the way, their transportation company is excellent, whenever I need car with driver they are always available to take me (of course with charge). Thanks to everyone ☺️

My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights in a deluxe double room. We have been travelling around Europe for a month and this has been our least favourite hotel. We didn’t find the staff very welcoming and friendly compared to other hotels. Our room was dark, a phone could only be charged on one side of the bed as there was only one outlet and the shower was difficult to get into as you needed to step into the high bath. The bath filled up whilst showering as the drainage was poor then seeped onto the bathroom floor. On our first night at the hotel we were kept awake by noise in the square below until nearly 4am. It was a holiday celebration in Montenegro and lots of people were partying but the noise was so loud we couldn’t sleep. We had to be up at 7am for an early tour so only got 3 hours of sleep. We found the staff at the hotel’s restaurant in the Square, Restaurant AS, incredibly rude. The location of the hotel is great, but for us, that was the only positive.

The waiter was disrespectful and rude towards us and other people around. The food was vile we got the mussels and pizza. Mussels had shell stuck on the inside and were unopened which can cause food poisining. All mussels were hard and Shelly. Pizza was bland and average. Service poor.

We stayed here two nights after a conference in Budva. We were pleased to find our hotel on the first plaza at the main entrance to Old Kotor. The lobby had a small cozy sitting room that was perfect for scanning the plaza for friends who were meeting us for day trips. The hotel offered free drink upon arrival. Also our room had breakfast included. The food was excellent and served in a wonderful dining room. The accommodations were excellent. Spacious rooms Overlooking the plaza. There was a desk chair, a coffee table with two “sitting chairs,” and a queen sized bed. Reasonable sized bathroom. All spaces in rooms were large by European standards. We had a TV although never turned it on. Very pleased all around.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in mid-September. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is in the old town which is very convenient to easily walk to many tourist sites and meeting points for day tours to other areas of Montenegro. The mountain and old town views from the restaurant’s terrace and my room’s balcony were stunning. The room was very clean, smelled good and of a decent size. The bed was comfortable enough. The pillows were a bit too thick for me. The room had many amenities including a small refrigerator, flat screen TV, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker & plenty of electric sockets. The wi-fi was free and worked very well. The room is soundproof, so I didn’t hear the music from the restaurants below when the balcony doors were shut. There is a clock tower in the square/plaza where the hotel is located, that rings once every hour. Once I fell asleep, I didn’t hear the bells. I am not sure if the bells stopped ringing throughout the night or that I couldn’t hear them because I was sleeping. Basically, I did sleep well at the hotel. The breakfast was good with many cold and hot options. I enjoyed breakfast every morning on the terrace with beautiful views of the Old Town and mountains. The staff was professional, friendly, patient, and helpful. The staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
