Hotel Pod Różą

We were a little bit disappointed. Hotel interiors are undeniably beautifully designed but we were feeling like visiting a gallery of modern design. Our room was big but a bit empty and dark. The worst thing was the breakfast: no buffet breakfast, some picks from the menu appeared to be eggs only. No vegetables nor fruits (vegetarian would suffer).

This is our second stay here; the first was 12 months ago for my 60th birthday and it was an excellent stay for my husband and me (reviewed via google). This time we brought along my husband's sister and some friends, having just come from our son and his wife's wedding west of Warsaw. We all had a fantastic time and loved the hotel, the wonderful staff and excellent facilities. I can't really improve on my previous review from May last year! What was extra special this time was being greeted with a room upgrade, having left our son and his wife's wedding several hours earlier, and having had a bit of stressful train journey to Kraków. That journey resulted in us having to offload our extensive luggage onto the rail tracks from a broken train, some distance out of Warsaw, and clamber onto a full train that eventually made it into Warsaw 1.5 hrs after we were first due in. We arrived at the Pod Rózą 3 hours later than intended, late in the evening. The extra-spacious room, and 45 soothing minutes in the spa before bed, was the perfect antidote! We all made good use of the spa throughout our week here, and would thoroughly recommend this hotel, not just for the spa, but also for the comfortable beds, beautiful linen, the excellent staff (nothing is too much trouble), and the fantastic location just off the main square. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope to be back for our 3rd visit within the next 12 months!

We stayed here for five nights. On our first night we got very little sleep becausenofmthemnoisenonnthenstreet. On our first morning the shower flooded. We had to put down all the towels to stop water going into the bedroom. We reported this to the reception. Next morning the flooding was worse.mitmwas upmto our ankles. When we reported it again we were offered another room. This one was on the top floor which was at least quieter We have visited Krakow many times and have always been delighted with the hotels. When we were checking out I asked would there be discount for the inconvenience and was told no. I certainly would not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Very stylish Old City hotel, close to numerous attractions , cafes and restraunts. Located in vintage old building but have all necessary amenities including spa and fitness. Staff is very friendly, large room with wooden floor, vintage furniture, full minibar.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location right nxt to the main square.. staff were very helpful and nice and polite.. bit of a strange smell as you 1st walk into the hotel coming from the spa room (chlorine) .. room was nice and spacious and clean.. only 2 negatives could of done with more pillows on the bed and need a kettle for tea in the morning as had to get dressed and go over the rd to get much needed cup of tea 1st thing.. would defo recommend and go back

Superbly located city centre hotel. Comfortable and quiet room, despite being located on a popular street. Very enjoyable breakfast with good coffee.

Stayed for one night to celebrate out 27th anniversary. We stayed at the hotel when we got married. We booked in and mentioned in passing that we'd stayed then and went for a drink. When we got back they'd upgraded us to the best suite! Great experience. Terrific staff, great suite and we'll be back Can't recommend the hotel enough

Excellent location. Beautiful hotel, historic building with modern touch. Great staff and amenities. Very spacious and comfortable room.
