Leone Aparthotel

Чудове розташування готелю, в пішій доступності всі визначні місця. Близько до вокзалу та Краківської галереї. Номер не великий, але чистий. Єдине - не працював холодильник. Wi-do працював добре.

Do not be put off when you first arrive! The Aparthotel is all you need when visiting the city on a short break. It’s spotless the staff cannot be more obliging nothing is too much trouble. They booked our trips (which arrived on time) . I would mention however that they are currently refurbishing and there may be some noise during the day but this did not affect us,

We travelled as a group of 5 friends. Two couples and one single man. All rooms were identical, very small, small double bed against a wall, which I don't think I've ever come across in all the travelling we've done. It was a clean room but tiny. As stated in previous reviews, the hotel is situated in quite a run down road and looks quite shabby but has a lot of character if you look past all the graffiti. Staff are friendly and helpful but unless you put a sign on the door ( which we didn't have!) to say you want the room cleaned, it won't happen. Also, be mindful of the large amount of stairs in the hotel ( for those with mobility issues) and there are no lifts. We couldn't understand that despite having a dining room, no food was served? Lovely cafe/ coffee shop on the busy junction on corner. Beautiful food and ambience. Very basic but clean and quiet.

I was a bit nervous reading some of the reviews, but there was nothing to worry about in the end! We stayed for a week in Novemeber. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was always hot. Radiators were easy to use and worked, so we were always a good temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful. We slept brilliantly each night, the black out blinds on the room are great. The location is as it is, the street isn't the poshest ever, but we had no issues. It was very convient for getting to Jewish District, Old Town, and there were a huge number of resturant a 10 minute walk away. There's a telly, a fridge, hair dryer and safe in the room. There's coffee and tea, and a kettle. One small thing, the pillows were a bit too big. And my partner struggled a bit with them. Possibly some smaller pillows could be available?

No lift in the hotel, even to get to reception there was a flight of stairs, then another two flights after reception, it was difficult with our suitcases especially with one being 21kg. Receptionists were not very friendly or professional, there was no real welcome. Rooms were clean, but very basic.  The double beds were single fold up beds pushed together. They were very hard and caused back pain. I actually got up a few times during the night and slept better on the lounge chair.  I said at reception about the beds, I was told, we only have 2 family size rooms, the other is occupied.  Fridge was working - only the light come on, it wasn't keeping anything cold.  I said to the receptionist, but nothing was done about it. Wall socket was hanging out of the wall . Restaurant wasn't available in the hotel. When I went the first morning to see about breakfast, I was told that we had to go 3 streets away to another hotel. We won't informed about this when we checked in.  We just got some bread, cheese and ham etc from the local shop, but then as previously mentioned, the fridge wasn't working.  When you look at the photos on there web page, there is no comparison to when we got. When we checked out, the young girl took the key and never even acknowledged us.

Had a lovely time in Krakow. Lovely city. The staff at Leone were lovely, very helpful. We stayed on first floor. Staff helped us upstairs with our luggage as there is no lift. Room is spacious and clean. It's an old building with high ceilings, but is perfectly adequate. You have tea and coffee and just ask for more when you need it. Same with towels,and bedding. If you want bed changed during your stay you ask. Breakfast is at different place but not too far. The breakfast is lovely with plenty choice. The location of Leone is so central. We found our way really easily. The main square is 10 mins walk. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. All in all a lovely short break. Thank you staff at Leone , had a great time
