Brilliant location for hotel, staff were excellent! Room was really big, very dated but was reasonably clean!

Me and my partner stayed here in June 2024, we booked with easy jet were the photos of the hotel were immaculate and spacious. This was far from the truth we arrived at the hotel early so had to leave our bag till the time we could check in, they didn’t put our suitcases in a secure location they left them out in the hall were other people staying there had access to. Once we were able to check in we got our room key, went up the stairs were there was stains and dirt all over the carpets all the way up and has left bin bags and dirty laundry bags on one of the landings this is completely unsanitary. The room was very disappointing to say the least, there was dirt and dead flies on the curtains, holes in the shower walls, no handle on the shower door, exposed wires in the bathroom, damages on all the furniture and the room it’s self was extremely small. We would advise anyone not to stay here as it was unsafe and unsanitary. When we let the reception know that we had not been staying here and wanted to check out early as we had to pay more money to stay in another hotel they never enquired to why we had not been staying there which I find quite unprofessional.
