I recently stayed at the M Resort & Hotel Kuala Lumpur from May 18, 2024, to May 19, 2024, in a Superior King room with a golf view. Overall, my experience was mixed.
The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, offering a beautiful view of the golf course. It was clean, spacious, and provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
However, there were several areas where the hotel could improve. Firstly, the swimming pool, while nice, was quite small and often crowded, making it less enjoyable. Additionally, the staff did not provide directions to the car park nor advised us to drop off our luggage at the lobby, which would have been helpful given the multiple car parks and the 10-minute walking distance to the lobby. This lack of guidance made the check-in process inconvenient.
Moreover, I was disappointed by the lack of cafe options for relaxing. The only available option was the pool cafe bar, which wasn't ideal for a more relaxed dining or coffee experience.
In summary, while the room and certain amenities met expectations, the service and some logistical aspects of the hotel left much to be desired. I hope the management addresses these issues to enhance the guest experience in the future.
