The bathroom and toilet is really a little dirty

Hornbill's Nest is a hidden gem of Kuching City Centre. It is highly recommended for those who wanna keep a low budget, yet to have a very comfortable stay, close to Kuching's places of interest (e.g. Borneo Cultures Museum, The Ranee Museum, Fort Margherita, Plaza Merdeka, The Waterfront, Main Bazaar, The Baruk, etc). The mattress was of high quality ones, where u move and u won't wake up the person sleeping next to you. Very clean toilet, overlooking the Saint Thomas Cathedral, water heater with lots of shampoo and showergel for the travellers. The hair dryer is of high quality salon-grade. May, the receptionist lady is always very helpful and attentive to our needs. Most importantly, they have the water filter (Cuckoo) where u can get a hot, cold, or room temperature water to refill your bottles. My suggestion, take the upper levels, best to avoid the ground floor. People in the past reviews complaint about the floor made of wood where u can hear people walking on the corridor. But, I have to tell you, this occurence reminded me of the original longhouses which were made of wood. Try not to stomp on the floor, walk softly like the natives did. Have fun and experience it authentically. I will definitely come back again, and would highly recommend friends and family to stay here.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier zum Zwischenstopp um dann in den Bako Nationalpark zu fahren. Leider haben wir dieses bereut. Die Angestellten waren nett und die Lage war wirklich super, samt Ausblick. Man konnte sich unten hinter der Lobby am Wasserspender seine Flaschen füllen. Leider war es das auch schon. In unserem Zimmer waren noch überall schwarze Haare auf dem Boden. Die Wände vor Feuchtigkeit aufgequollen. Die eine Dusche auf unserer Etage funktionierte garnicht, die andere nur mit kaltem Wasser und tausenden Haare auch hier auf dem Boden. Nachts war es auf dem Flur so laut dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Wir würden nicht mehr wiederkommen.
