nice hotel clean and comfortable. wifi is fast but with limitation in mb. we ran out of internet in the middle of the night. haha. so it is really not unlimited free wifi. breakfast is with limited option. i would rate this hotel a fair one.

Amazing staff with great reception. The dinner set was simple amazing. Try their Jollof. Very responsive to guests needs. The Wi-Fi was back on in a short time after going down. I planned spending just one night but ended up sleeping for two nights whiles still contemplating on adding another night. Easy to get to the town Center. Highly recommend.

The facility is located in a serene environment and close to airport, the shopping mall and the central business district. The rooms and the washrooms are very spacious and clean with modern fixtures and fittings. The mattress and pillows were soft and plush. The room had very good lighting system and adequate furniture for working, relaxing and storing my personal items. The staff were very responsive and readily available to attend to me. I felt safe during my stay at Fredericks Lodge.

beautiful room setup and spacious. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and the food (chef) was good and delicious. Price was good too and hotel is in a very quite neighborhood and not far from the main highway. will always come back

Our group's stay in Kumasi at Frederick's Lodge was quite pleasant and enjoyable! Their chef is very talented and the staff is professional and aims to please in every way. The accommodations are excellent with very large rooms and facilities. The rooftop bar was a real treat and was sufficiently stocked. The pool looked nice, but I was unable to find to time to use it. Lastly, it was a great pleasure to meet and interact with the gracious owners, Kofi & Laila.

Review on Frederick's Lodge: I am an average white South African female, who traveled solo to Ghana, Kumasi for the first time in my life. I was greeted with a welcoming and friendly face at the Kumasi airport and we drove a scenic root to the lodge. I had to get cash for the everyday expense and the manager, Nana, kindly escorted me to the nearby mall and made sure I felt safe to draw money at the ATM. My room was lovely and the aircon in the room was a bliss. Daily housekeeping ensured fresh towels and a neatly made up bed and restock of the beverages. The fresh fruit at breakfast was great, I loved the exposure to the local cuisine, which is very much for the chili and hot pepper lovers and not for the salt only kind of girl. Never the less the food specially prepared for me was fantastic. The local bear was a good compliment after a long and hot day. I like good quality linen on my bed and I was very pleased with the quality. Review on Kumasi: I used an E-sim, but I think it would be best to get a local sim and get a data package from MTN. Bolt worked great, I never had to wait longer than 5 min for a ride. The area is safe, the locals are super friendly and everyone is welcoming and service driven. The Shoprite in the mall is a good supermarket for getting what you need. The trip into town to see the local market, was an experience, I suggest get a local to accompany you. It is a busy place and getting there and back will be challenging without some assistance. Learn a few words in their local langue Twi, it goes a long way and you will be liked even more, if that is at all possible. Overall experience of my work trip in Kumasi: It was great, I loved every second I was there. I can def recommend Frederick's Lodge for accommodation and meals. Excellent conditions all round, courteous service and an exceptionally clean environment. All inclusive delicious breakfast and decent pool to cool off in. Fully air conditioned indoor spaces with option to control individual room temperatures. First choice accommodation when visiting Kumasi.

Frederick’s Lodge, Kumasi I recently had the pleasure of staying at Frederick’s Lodge, a charming small family hotel in the heart of Kumasi, Africa. Our experience was exceptional, marked by attentive service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service at Frederick’s Lodge was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to assist. The lobby personnel were especially kind, making us feel right at home. The food at Frederick’s Lodge was a true highlight. Every meal we had was delicious, and the morning breakfast was particularly enjoyable, providing a great start to our day. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the helpfulness of the men who took excellent care of our luggage, especially since we were on the third floor. Their assistance made our stay much more comfortable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The pool area was a wonderful place to relax, and the entire property felt very safe and secure. Overall, I highly recommend Frederick’s Lodge to anyone visiting Kumasi. The combination of attentive service, delicious food, cleanliness, and a safe, welcoming environment made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

Amazing customer service. The warmth from the staff, the sprawling structure and the imposing but carefully arranged art gives a true "home away from home". It is a destination to consider for a professional treat and a true touch of quality.

I do not recommend staying at this property. I looked at three rooms, and left. The first room, the tub was damaged and had stains on the floor. The second room had more stains on the floor, the ceiling was damaged, and the light didn't work or was burnt out. The third room had what appeared to be black mold around the toilet. That's when I left. The owner refused to speak with me on the phone. The people at the front desk feigned ignorance and refused to put in writing they would refund my money. They didn't and I had to dispute the charge. The property is dark, dreary and poorly maintained. I do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean. Staff were very well trained, pleasant and polite. The food was tastefully presented and tasted good. Good amount of dishes to choose from. The hot water took a minute to flow in the bathroom, but I eventually figured it out. I will definitely return with my whole tribe.

The staff were so kind, great service and hospitality from everyone, the amenities were very nice and I had such a comfortable and safe time here. Very homey stay and the food was really good too. Not too far from many amenities and the staff will get you a taxi if needed. It was especially helpful as a young person traveling solo and visiting Africa for the first time to be welcomed and taken care of so well.

The room was extremely comfortable, the staff proactive and courteous. Breakfast was a treat! The location was perfect for all my engagements. It is really an island of excellence and my go-to hotel in Kumasi. I will stay there again…thanks!
