Nostalgia S Hotel (Kunming North Huancheng Road Railway Station)

The hotel good location near by the shopping area and many local restaurants such as hot pot Mala just opposite right there, the room very clean and spacious, staff very friendly, and especially breakfast with varieties local menu very nice.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but we left after 1 night The no smoking policy is not enforced, the room smelled like smoke and also common areas with clear no smoking signs, even the laundry where we were washing our clothes smells bad. That was very very annoying. Another big problem is that if your room smell like smoke and you open the window on the backyard your room will then smell like sewage, awfully disgusting. During our stay we also had a water shortage so no possibilities of taking a shower or using the toilet (crazy eh?) Besides that the hotel is really cool as they provide everything you may need for free (laundry, toiletries, snacks, water and so on). That was really appreciated and we regret having to leave because of that. Also the staff, despite the situation was really good and understanding, especially Zhangdeyun that gave us a lot of information and helped us during the check in
