Ulasan Jiqing Hotel (Kunming Green Lake)

Receptionist are good, they are ready to help the guests. Room service is excellent. Very neat and clean. Quite near to metro train station. Near to Yuantong Temple, Cuihu Lake, Yunnan Military Museum, Yunnan University etc. Very peaceful!

Hotel is good. Clean and quite new. No coffee machine, nothing for their customers at the lobby. We asked for cups to have tea, we were told to go buy our own. Other than that it's quite a good hotel to stay in for the price.

Loved it, price is good for the service you get. The location is great in Kunming, plenty of restaurants on the street, would recommend it to any business travelerr

Nice, spacious and cleaned rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel is very centric and close to Kunminglao street but in a quiet area so one can sleep peacefully. It does not offer breakfast but there are many places around to go and eat, including some western restaurants, like "A' table" a french bakery.

The location of the hotel was not easy to find unless you are familiar with the place. Transportation would not send you to the door step and you need to navigate yourself to the hotel unless you requested for pick up from the station. The staff was friendly and helpful when I requested them to send me to the train station. Plenty of BBQ stalls and other local foods around the areas. The room where I stayed was clean and the shower was good with hot water during this time of the year. I am satisfied with my stay in this hotel

One odd thing about this hotel is that it is not named Jiqing Hotel, but instead it is named EverLuck Hotel. As a result I passed by it two - three times before realizing that this was my place to stay. Secondly, the area itself may be not pretty or elegant as it is on a small busy street full of little shops and late night barbecues surrounded by old local neighborhood buildings, but the location is excellent as it is right in the middle of all the major downtown Kunming areas to visit. As such this is why I chose it despite its 2 star status. The lower score rating is because the cleaning is not so good (the floor was dusty when I checked in) and the amenities are rather subpar, such as thin toilet paper and a need to scan a QR code to access the wifi. However the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, it was freshened up daily, and it suited my needs.

Nice place and location for green park I stayed three night. Wish they would if cleaned the room like scrub the bathroom. Nice staff

Large comfortable room, very clean, great shower, nicely designed & decorated. Car parking further down the road which was slightly inconvenient hence the four smiles for 'amenities'. Excellent breakfast - receptionist gives you a ticket allowing choice between two local restaurants, we ate delicious vegetarian noodles just across the street in a small place decorated with old posters. What a great way for the hotel to support local businesses! Location near the lake was perfect for us and we hired bicycles to get around, and had a superb lunch at the famous 'Classic 1912' restaurant near the lake. Recommended.

Its a decent hotel if you are travelling solo and want to lives in the center/close to to the center. Couples, travelling with family may go for a different option.

The hotel has very convenient location. There is a Dai Minority Yunnan restaurant down the street with mind blowing food. The zoo is at a 10min walk, you can get a free covid test around the corner, convenient stores and fruit stores next door, and even the park which has great family fun activities is at a 10min walk. Amazing location if you are a family with kids! The hotel itself looks a bit shabby on the outside, and even the lobby doesn’t give a good impression, but the family rooms are perfect! Clean, spacious and it even has a rotating TV. The breakfast situation is confusing. My booking says we get breakfast included but the hotel lady had a long long complicated story in Chinese that resulted in no breakfast in the end 😂.

The room was good value for money and comfortable. I liked the location and would stay here again.

Nice location surrounded by a bakery that opens early for breakfast, fruit shops, supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a hospital that offers COVID testing. Room was spacious, modern, with a comfortable bed. Good value for the money. Highly recommended.

Very nice smallish room but very comfortable. Breakfast is at the shop next door so if your not into noodles dont book the breakfast. Its a great place to put your headdown.
