comfortable stay for a night stop over before an early flight the next day, it was a comfortable stay. the sheets were nice and soft. the toilet and showers are built such that they are individual cubicles, so the shower cubical doesn’t have any where to hang clothes/ towels, etc. all amenities provided, and there’s a laundry room with washer dryer to get your laundry sorted before continuing your trip.
shuttle bus to airport was 5am for a 7.40am flight, where it’s a “car pool” system, must book at time of check in.
night supper is a bowl of mien xian, basic. it’s a warm bowl to keep you going. there are no food options around outside of the building.

We stayed here as we have an early flight to catch the next day and the hotel is located about 10 mins drive from airport. But to town, it’s about 27km and didi cost about CNY 50. This hotel do not provide airport shuttle. It can be difficult to get a didi early in the morning. So have to select multiple didi option to find a car. Room is nice. Huge bed and toilet. They have a kids playground at level 15.
Tip: book a didi instead of taking the airport taxi to hotel as the taxi driver do not know where this hotel is and brought us one big round. Unless you can use gps to guide them, better get a didi instead.

The hotel front desk service is enthusiastic and thoughtful, and any questions raised can be resolved with care. Although the hotel is near the airport, there is no noise at all. The overall environment is warm and quiet, and the room is clean and tidy. I will choose again next time. The rooms in this hotel are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The service staff had a friendly and polite attitude. The hotel also provides many thoughtful services, such as free airport pick-up. In addition, the restaurants near this hotel are also very delicious, especially the local cuisine. In short, this is a very good hotel and worth visiting again!

It was my second time staying here. It's very good for the price and in a good area.
One word of caution, they offer transfer to the airport, two hours before my flight a minibus arrives, they then spent about 15 minutes wasting time, with no sign that they would be leaving I left the minibus and got a taxi. I'm sure the transfer would have got there on time, just, but it made the experience incredibly rushed so I'm glad I left and got a taxi.
Also I was in room 205 which had an issue with a pipe in the bathroom, there's a constant dripping sound of water, which sounds minor but grew to be quite irritating.
Still for the price I recommend this hotel.

I must really commend this hotel. The facilities are ultra modern and clean. The staff and the pickup driver are really helpful even with my arrival at 3 am. Knowing I had to go to the airport early even though my room did not include breakfast they packed breakfast for me which included four buns, a boiled egg, selection of dessert and fruit with a warm drink.

We were looking for a few hrs stay before our midnight flight. Saw this hotel in trip.com and we called to check. 小丹 was cleared our queries over the phone and shared there is airport transfer. She is very friendly and helpful.
Another staff was too very helpful but i forgot to get her name. The airport transfer transport was stuck at the airport and could not came back to hotel to send us to airport. This nice and helpful lady staff help us called didi and even help us bring the luggage up the car.
There were some issues with the GPS during the car ride. She called the driver and emphasize to the driver he must us to the airport.
It was a great short few hrs stay. :)

Very convenient and helpful - had fluent English people on the phone and front desk which made all the difference as we could sort out pickup and drop off - though sometimes took a while before the phone was passed to them.
Everything was great though would have been nice to have more restaurants! Limited to only 2…

PPengguna TetamuOverall, I like this hotel chain in general and would stay there again, both at this location and in other cities. This was not the first location for this chain that I have stayed at.
Location: The hotel is located in a fairly central location. It is very close to Green Lake, though you'll need a map in order to know that. It's across the street from a KFC, 711, and Starbucks, and around the corner from a Burger King. There are also quite a few shared bikes (both electric and not) available from several different companies in front of the hotel.
Amenities: Breakfast is available for an additional charge, and there is a laundry room. I used neither of these. The hotel room has a refrigerator and more than the standard two bottles of drinking water plus an electric kettle, tea set, two packets of tea, and some candy in a dish (that looked like it had been there for a very long time). This hotel chain is generally very good about giving you more water if you ask. The bed is very comfortable, the tv is huge, the shower is hot with good water pressure, and the room is clean overall. There were ink stains on the sofa, but no problems with the bedding. Some of the furniture/walls were starting to be in need of repair, but it's not a problem unless you're super picky.
Safety/Service: The front desk staff are always very nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions that you have, but you'll need to speak Mandarin or have a translator handy. English is limited or non-existent. I felt safe in my room, and I didn't worry about leaving things in my room that I generally keep on my person in other hotels. The maid was also very kind and helped me when I saw her in the hallway and asked for help with a small problem (that was totally just my ignorance and too embarrassing to mention!).
WIFI: Wifi is available, but there is no information about the network or password in the room that I could find. I went down to the front desk and the woman there put the password on my phone for me.
Quiet: Well, there were some very loud and very rude guests staying in rooms near me. I don't know what the hotel's response would have been as I didn't all the front desk to complain. It definitely could have been quieter. There was no noise from outside the hotel, though.
Problems: I stayed at this hotel three nights total but two times (one night at the beginning and two nights at the end of my trip). My second room at this hotel (when I stayed for two nights), there was a blinking light inside a grate in the ceiling that can only be seen when all the lights are out. It was really bothering me, and making it difficult for me to sleep. I called the front desk at approx. 12:30 in the morning, and they didn't quite understand my problem (completely due to my sub-par Mandarin), but they sent someone to take a look. The maintenance guy who came said he knew exactly what I was talking about once I pointed upward. He didn't need me to turn off the light and show him. He said there was nothing he could do. If they turned out that light, I would have no electricity in the room. He also said that it's like that in every room. I didn't remember seeing it in the first room I had stayed in at the beginning of my trip, and I also didn't remember it from when I had stayed for three nights at a different location. Whether it really exists in every room or not is here nor there, though it ought to be obvious that a blinking light that doesn't turn off when you turn all the lights off is a bad idea, and something ought to be done). It is possible that it exists in every room but that it's not visible from the bed in every room due to the placement of that grate.

DDexter50000I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over the first week of September 2024 and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning aesthetic design. The blend of modern elegance with unique architecture created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a luxury mall with a supermarket in the basement where you can buy international groceries, pastries and fruits. Guests may also venture to other malls around the area or a night flea market that opens late into the night.
Buffet breakfast featured an extensive selection that included pastries, fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs cooked to order, and an array of dishes like congee with Yunnan spices. Food was good for a buffet spread, with staff ensuring that the buffet was well-replenished and clean.
What truly sets the hotel apart is its service. From the moment I arrived, staff was warm and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met. The front desk team was knowledgeable and eager to help. It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
Special mentions to Mila, who helped to facilitate the courier of my daughter's medicine, which I left behind at the hotel. Mila went out of the way to made sure that the medicine reached us on time. She kept us updated throughout the process. Communication was prompt and reassuring, which alleviated our worries.
Overall, I want to thank the hotel staff for making my stay a memorable one and I look forward to my return in future.

SSimonThe services provided by the hotel employees are top-notch, almost cater to your personal needs, comparable to a 5-star Hotel. Room is very clean and quiet. Hotel is located within walking distance to pedestrian streets and shopping malls. Breakfasts are mainly local Yunnan dishes that you have to pre-select for the next morning or as and when you check-in, limited selection though.

PPengguna TetamuWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

PPengguna TetamuLocation was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me.
Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it.
The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.

PPengguna TetamuThis hostel immediately make you feel warm and welcome! Close to the city center, it is easy to find and the staff is friendly (and speak English if you are a foreigner!). The hostel has a lovely lounge, rooftop and terrace where you can sit, enjoy the hostel's food and drinks (very good and affordable) and relax. I stayed in a 6-people all female dorm room, which was a little bit small but it is enough, especially since you have so many other places in the hostel where you can hang out. The bed is comfortable, the shower and toilet are outside of the room but easily accessible and clean. I had no problem with using the washing machine and dryer provided either.
I only stayed one night but the hostel made me wish I had planned more time in Kunming! I will definitely book here again if I go back to Kunming.
