Marbel Hotel by Palm Wings

Honestly when I was booked up it was only for going to see Ephesus and do some exploring with my wife. But I've got to say the pictures you find online do this hotel no justice it's amazing the staff are so friendly I know it's there job but they would go above and beyond for your comfort and pleasure. The food was like a solid 8.5/10 if you like eggs, bread, cheese and meats then you will be fine I was always full up we were all inclusive and definitely felt you get your money's worth. The rooms are tidy and attended to constantly the bar was good and open till 11pm the pool is nice and you get some good sun in morning but enough trees to give shade. But honestly if I had one thing to say that for us was the best thing about the hotel was the location on where it was it made it so much better honestly your right next to a bus station to go anywhere in turkey on trips and a bus stop that goes straight to town and to beach for 20tl which is like 50p The wifi was good as well and the hairdresser done my wife's hair for like €15. Just go if we weren't booked for alanya I'd go back loved it. I don't have the best of pictures as there on my wife's phone but as you can see at night it's beautiful

Had a great last minute budget getaway. End of September into October, end of season - hotel was being closed down as guests left Room cleaned every day, food was was very good - plenty of choice. Local drinks are a little limiting to English palate. Staff very helpful and are more than happy to help you with the Turkish language. Ideally placed near bus station for trips out, and a lovely walk to the the harbour and town. Local market is a must for bargains. Ideally placed for independent travel and exploration. Only downside was drunken guests - sad to say they were English. Looking to rebook for late 2025

This was a family holiday that we booked through an operator, he told us the beach is a 10 minute walk. He lied, the hotel is on the back of a very busy bus station and you need a cab or bus to beach. Is advertises a free shuttle to the beach daily which is true but there is a cost for each person to get onto the beach I think 10 euros each we never went. Ozzy the shop keeper was very helpful and reccomnded coconut bar a free beach with a bar etc much cleaner and nicer. The wifi is intermittent not the best. The room was an adjoining room on 5th floor and was very dated compared with others we would have been better off getting 2 rooms ! The food is not catered for English in my opinion very much h the same daily not nice I had a stomach upset twice perhaps just because I didnt like the food. The milk was off and they didn't care to fix this. The spa was closed and the gym was nit a gym at all there is a running machine and that's it. The room was cleaned every day a lovely lady did this faultless bless her. The pool is lovely and made the holiday to be honest. For an alcoholic there was no choice for mocktails etc. The entertainment team Adam and Bella were great but it was the same thing every day there should be lots more very basic to say the least but they try bless them. The highlight if my stay there was ozzy the shop keeper , a true gentleman that helped us no ends, he changed my money and the photos were amazing, we had family photos and then he took us to the beach for sunset photos faultless. I would not go back to this hotel ever... it is not a 4 star it would be generous to give it 3 star status. Overall kusadasi has become ridiculously expensive like England prices their economy is really bad worse than ever 100 lire for a bottle of water or small can of pop in some places make sure you go to local corner shops etc. I will not go back to Turkey until prices come down. Oh and ice cream literally you get an hour a day to cue up and get an ie cream or hey run out.

We have just returned home after 2 weeks at Marbel. We are a family of 5, we had one of the ajoing rooms on the 5th floor. The rooms were very dated compared to the other rooms on the lower levels. However, the cleanliness was faultless. The cleaner was a lovely lady who always said morning. Ozzy, who ran the shop, was very friendly. He captured great pictures of us making memories with our children around the pool side, and we opted for additional photos to be taken at the beach during sunset, I would 100% recommend this. The entertainment team was friendly, always taking the time to make conversation, they did their very best, especially just being the 2 of them 6 days a week. They worked endlessly. The biggest letdown for this hotel was the food. There was a great choice of cold options such as salads, but the warm foods were very repetitive with not a great selection to choose from. The puddings were all pretty much the same consistency and texture. We ended up eating out quite a lot. The other downside is that ice cream is not served for a very long time each day We got told there it was walking distance to the beach, but if we wanted, there was a free shuttle to the beach each day. This is true. However, at Green Beach, you have to pay for each person to visit, and there is only one pick up and drop off daily. Overall, we had a lovely 2 weeks we met some lovely families that made our holiday so memorable.

Do not book this hotel if you want to use a Gym or the Spa facilities. 4 items in the small gym room, only the running machine working, the other equipment broken or useless. The Spa rooms were closed, do not know why, it was high season. Day time entertainment around the pool was ok. Evening entertainment was terrible, mainly for young children till 10pm and a few silly games, bingo which you had to pay to play and 25 minutes of karaoke once or twice a week, which again the kids wanted to sing. Music stops at 11pm. My bedroom and bathroom were large and well maintained. The corridors to the rooms were dark, dim lights only switching on when motion detected. The carpets in the corridors were filthy, never cleaned. Restaurant and food, not great but ok. Afternoon snacks at pool bar ok, and nice free ice-cream. Floor tiles near pool bar and bottom of steps and along side the pool very dangerous, like an ice rink. First few days there a saw 2 ladies with plaster casts on their arms and a gentleman bandaged all around his arm and chest area, he had to go home, and I saw others fall over too. The animation team of mostly Adam and Bella were very nice and worked well with the guest. A larger team should be employed. Also all the other staff were nice. The layout of the hotel is good, it just needs some changes that would not cost a lot of money and would make a big difference to people's expectations.

Went with TUI. Hotel filthy. Cats wandering about restaurant not surprisingly lots of people with food poisoning. Showers/toilets need replaced. No bus to beach despite the TUI advert. I asked TUI to remove this they didn’t. Gym and tennis court unusable.
