Menakjubkan

It's located in a great spot for everything. The customer service is excellent, as well as the comfort of the room. One thing that could improve the stay experience is reducing the noise from the street, if possible.
Loved everything about this hotel!! Staff were helpful and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Position is great for sightseeing and many places such as Gion, Kiyomizu-dera and Nishiki Markets are within walking distance.

This small boutique Inn is in a perfect location in Gion. Steps from the main tourist streets but tucked in a quiet backstreet near a temple. Walking distance to Pontocho, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera temple, subway and bus stops. The staff is very polite, helpful and caring. The rooms are very clean. The room are tight so if you have more than one suitcase will require some Tetris skills. The coin laundry in lobby is great to have, they sell detergent at front desk. They will assist with Takkyubin forms although you must bring luggage to 7-11 around the corner.

We stayed at Rinn Gion Yasaka which was great. But Rinn Gion Kenningi was even better. This is located at the quite part of Kyoto but is very near the Dunguri and Shijo bridges. Crossing these bridges leads you to the tourist areas where there lots and lots of restaurants and the shopping areas. Crossing the Donguri bridges also leads to the Kawaramachi underground station near the Mc Donald's. This is the station if you want to go to Osaka which is just less than an hour for 400 Yen. So the Rinn Gion Kenningi is really perfect in location. Besides this, the hotel room that we stayed in was quite big and so private as thus was located in another building and we had the whole floor to ourselves.

This adorably boutique hotel is in the perfect location for wandering the labyrinth of Gion. There are several excellent restaurants and cafes nearby, and it's within easy walking distance to the Nishiki Market, the Yasaka Shrine and Maruyama Park, and Hanamikoji Street. PLUS: Location, location, location. Rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated. The staff are congenial and helpful. MINUS: The rooms are tiny. Two adults in room 305 for four nights was ok, but nowhere to put luggage or to sit comfortably other than the beds. The walls are thin. We could easily hear street traffic through the walls. The only upside is that there isn't much traffic at night. I would stay here again, but only if I was alone. A little too small for more than one person.
