Ulasan Daiwa Roynet Hotel KYOTO-TERRACE-HACHIJO PREMIER

The location of the hotel is amazing! Right next to Kyoto station, very convenient for traveller especially taking train to nearby cities such as Uji and Nara! One convenient store (711) is attached to the hotel ground floor, many restaurants and stores nearby the hotel and close until late! Very recommended for those who want to maximise their time while traveling Japan! The only thing is the room is a bit small but overall is nice

Excellent location and excellent rooms. Very clean and quiet. Love the coffee station at the lobby provided complimentary to hotel guests. Will love to stay there again.

Very clean and quiet room. Excellent service! I'll choose to stay here again if I go to Kyoto again. Breakfast ok, many choices while not my taste. Rooms are tiny small but have everything a travel would need.

The location is great. Literally just opposite the Kyoto Station nearer on the subway end. Every touristy snack that you want to buy is found at the train station or around the station! Don't bother going anywhere else. The room was smaller than I expected. Didn't feel like 200 sgft. Maybe because the space went to the bathroom which had toilet and shower area comfortably separated. There are paid laundry services on the top floor and there are "live" updates on availability on your TV. So that is very convenient. I was there for the Kyoto Marathon, so the location was great to take the subway to get to race start and back. One slight gripe was I was pretty sick during my trip and was catching the airport bus to head to Osaka Airport at 1 pm. Check out is at 11 am and I requested if I could just sleep one more hour and check out at 12 pm. The hotel was very adamant to charge even for an hour. So be cautious about this if you are thinking that you can try to request for a late check out. Oh yes one more thing, the airport bus stop is literally across the street from the hotel as well. It was great for me because as I said I was pretty sick and so just dragging the luggage across the street and hopping into the bus straight to airport was really all that I could do.

Really not recommend to book Daiwa hotel group via online agency like trip.com,agoda…I had booked two different Daiwa hotels in Kyoto and Toyama, both hotels were arranged lower floor such as 2-3F to you, and their service is not good if comparing with other hotel groups in japan. The only one good thing of Daiwa is their rooms almost dry and wet separate…that’s all. So I think i will consider other hotels priority, i will choose Daiwa hotels only if i have not another choice.

Good location, near to station and shops but but not value for money given the price we paid and the kind of room we got. We are not aware that we need to put up the notice on our door for room cleaning (in fact we noticed on the third day of our stay that the our room next door has a clean up notice but we did not find any of those magnetic room cleaning notice board in our room ) and so our room was uncleaned for 3 days.

Helpful staff with good English. 2mins walk to family mart. Clean and silent atmosphere. Enjoy the stay so much.

It is very accessible just in front of Kyoto Station and the Hotel is very comfortable, slept well with a nice breakfast buffet too....

Very good, book additional one night after I found out this hotel is so comfortable and location is convenient.

Super convenient, just next to train station and there’s a side door on L1 which is link to a 7-11. So incase it rain, don’t have to worry about getting wet. Check in is on L2 and they have a amenity bar and drinks counter. Tried their Breakfast and it was delicious. Room size is good too! We can open up 2 “open top” luggage and still have space to move around. There’s a few malls around it so no worry about food etc.

Had a pleasant stay. Really near to Kyoto JR station and short distance from Kyoto Bus Terminal
