Nice location, easily reachable from karasuma. Amenity included water dispenser which is nice.

It was evident that the housekeeping staff took great care in ensuring that every corner was thoroughly sanitized. I felt completely at ease knowing that hygiene was a top priority. Nice hotel , clean and kind staff, specially room cleaning lady was nice. everyday free water bottle. Free wifi. The room was compact but bath tab was not so I could relax legs in bath after walking a lot. Close to big size seven eleven, I could get goods and morning coffee. There is green tea bags in the room. I wished select tea and coffee and tea bag like amenity.

The location is very convenient, exactly at the shijo area. It’s very convenient to find food and to do shopping. Takashimaya is within walking distance (15 minutes). Daimaru, Fujii Daimaru and Tokyu Hands are just around the corner. However, we requested for a second card. They have been kindly trying to help us, but somehow that card just expires after a while, causing us to visit the front desk repeatedly. Strongly recommend this hotel if you want to shop in Kyoto.

My room had a weird beeping sound which was agitating. Else room was small but efficient

Fantastic option to stay in in Kyoto. The location of the Hotel is unbeatable: you have the main avenue of Kyoto and the Hankyu Kyoto Line just one block away from it. The staff of the Hotel is very warm and nice. You may need a translator in case english is not enough, but, in fact, this applies to all Japan and not only to the Hotel's employees.

Overall is good, despite the hotel room & bed is quite small.

Location is good. Easy walk to shopping and eat. Room is little bit tiny but clean. Good for short stay.

Location is great, convenient to travel around Kyoto and convenience store is just opposite the hotel (can arrange Takuhaibin here as well since the hotel doesn't help to arrange on behalf).
