Hotel berhampiran Ninose Railway Station, Kyoto

Old hotel, but rooms are VERY large and clean. Great huge onsen-bath in the hotel, I enjoyed it very much. There is a restaurant, but did not have a chance to try it. Location was good for me, and there is a public transportation just a minute away.

房間夠大，交通還算方便，設施比較陳舊，畢竟是80年代的建築了。正好在二條城對麪。看需要去的景點，每個人覺得是否方便見仁見智。會員可以兩點退房。有往返京都驛的班車，官網上有固定發車時間。

Service: Excellent service from hotel staff, spoke English, accommodating, helpful and cheerful. Location : Quiet area, right next to a train station exit, convenient location. It is close to Kyoto Station by taxi ( approx 5-10 mins), located at an intersection and was easy to grab a taxi. It is not located that close to the main Kyoto shopping street, but it's just a peaceful 5-10 minutes walk away from the main stretch of shopping and food areas. Great to explore the quiet side of Kyoto. Lawson mart just opposite, the quiet lane opposite had lots of quaint cafes and bakeries. What a wonderful find just walking through the little lanes opposite. Away from tourists crowds, immersed in local Kyoto city vibes. Room style and space: Room furnishing decor colours were so soothing, stylish pale sage greens, light cream and oak, modern and pleasant , light cream tones. Fantastic huge single beds and pillows, fluffy and clean pillows, huge sofa, strong showers from rain shower in bathroom. Loved every corner in my corner room. Spacious work desk at the corner, perfect for a working business trip. The balcony flanked the entire room length.. absolutely wonderful.. sat outside on the balcony and people watched. Bathroom amenities and products included face and body moisturizers, combs etc, all wrapped in classic stylish Japanese style. Perks: We received daily vouchers which we could use for lounge cocktail hour (free flow great selections of wines, beers, sake, hot drinks etc drinks and snacks) or for high tea set in the lounge area. The lounge area was so cozy. Wonderful vibes. High tea set was amazing, provided by famous patissierie that's located in the hotel lobby. Wonderful chill experience just before we head out for daily dinners. Facilities: We checked out the mist room and onsen.. so clean and stylish. Felt like we were at a W hotel. Overall super fantastic experience, wonderful ambience, rooms were new, stylish and cleanliness was top notch. Property itself is very new and modern. Perfect for solo or couples. Very quiet (some traffic noise, but not a big deal), peaceful neighborhood, chic furnishings. I loved my stay in Nov so much, I will stay again in future. Downside: The rooms face a few offices opposite, windows are not coated with opaque film.. so just be aware and not walk around underdressed in the room in full view of opposite buildings. Windows are definitely see through! Nothing the day curtains can't fix.

Great location and really good space in the room. The hotel is mostly self automated with check-in and check-out. A cafe at the bottom floor in the lobby and the location is right in the middle of the market and main highstreet, where you can find the Nintendo Kyoto store. A trip to the main spots doesn't take too long, whether by Uber or metro/subway stops. Highly recommend. Some great bakeries close by and small restaurants for the evening.

Après avoir aimé et arpenté de nombreuses contrées en Asie comme dans plus de 100 pays de ce vaste monde en soixante ans, j’ai vécu en cet endroit la deuxième étape de mon second voyage au Japon trop longtemps reporté cause Covid et bien trop marquant pour ne pas avoir envie d’y retourner… Professionnel du voyage, auteur de guides touristiques basé au Maroc, je n’ai pas regretté mon choix. Situé dans le quartier de Gion, le plus sympa de cette ville tentaculaire, l’hôtel est lumineux et accueillant, le staff y est souriant et compétant. D’une propreté parfaite, ma chambre était spacieuse et où, délicatement déposé sur un lit confortable, j’ai découvert un élégant pyjama, un art de vivre typiquement japonais... En dehors du petit déjeuner qui, tristounet, sans choix et sans saveur, mériterait franchement d’être amélioré, voir totalement ”Revisité”... Prestations et service, comme un exceptionnel rapport qualité/prix dans un pays dont la réputation est d’être excessivement cher ne font qu’agrémenter ce séjour. Bon à savoir : Accessible très facilement par le bus N°5 depuis la gare dont l’arrêt est à quelques mètres de l’hôtel ou par le métro dont la station est tout aussi proche… A peine plus éloignés, bus et luxueux autocars mènent directement vers les temples ou vers l’aéroport… A ne pas manquer : A quelques minutes à pieds de l’hôtel, l’excellent restaurant Kappa propose une succulente cuisine préparée devant soi à un prix plus qu’attrayant, dans un cadre traditionnel où les clients dînent et sympathisent accoudés au même comptoir… (tél: 531-1112)

Spacious hotel rooms considering the usual room size in Japan! I personally love the separated dry & wet bathroom. There’s free flow of hot & cold drinks and bathroom amenities located on the lobby which you can collect everyday! Nijo station is just across the road, you can even see it from the hotel! Friendly & helpful receptionist whenever I need helps! Tips: you can ask the receptionist for luggage transfer service (they will give you a card, you just need to scan the barcode & follow the instructions for reservation), I used it for my luggage transfer to Osaka (currently there’s a promotion where you can use the promo code for free luggage service transfer, for up to first 100 redemption per day). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kyoto!

We are happy with our accommodation at Royal Kyoto Sanjo, good location next yo nishiki market and 10minutes walk to Gion region. If you are looking for good location, clean rooms and nothing more, this is your choice

I booked a premier twin with city view guest room in this Banyee Tree Group Hotel at Kyoto Sanjo district. The hotel location is very good and just slightly off Kyoto City shopping centres within a 5-10 mins walking distance, which is good for my family since we can do some walking exercise and looking for good japanese food everyday when we are going out without wasting time to find transportation and yet there is a sub-way train Sanjo station just right next to the hotel for linking up to other scene spots and even to Osaka and other places as you wish. The quality of hospitality service is good and some staff are hands-on and can communicate via english. The room interior is warm and comfort to my family and I like its comfy bed and sufficient hot-water rain-shower and both my family and myself had a good sleep there. The Wi-Fi speed is acceptable and the room cleaning service is also above average.

The room has a substantial size, bigger than the usual Japanese hotel, the design is great. The hotel opened in 2022 so everything is new, it has shuttle bus service to and from Kyoto Station 京都駅 every hour which came in quite handy as we spent some time shopping there. You can check the timetable on the hotel’s website. The location is a bit far from the central Kyoto area but there is a lot of enjoyable historic sites surrounding the hotel and the area is quite calm and tranquil. The view from our room looks towards the inner garden of the hotel which is quite nice. There is a mountain at the background as well to add to the natural vibe. Staffs had the usual Japanese mentality, very welcoming and pleasant. There is a subway station near the hotel, about 3-5 minutes walk, but we never got to use it as the convenience of taxi got us every time. Overall a very pleasant stay.
