I like this hotel especially the king beds that have a view and a balcony overlooking the cathedral overlooking the cathedral overlooking the cathedral. The hotel has a hip vibe and a fun pool. Hotel is approximately 3 blocks from the beach and breakfast is mediocre not great not horrible. But at least they give you fresh juice which I like and some fruit. I am actually returning this hotel tomorrow for 6 days because I'm very fond of the area and the hotel and it is a fun place to stay.

Schöne Lage, direkt an der Kathedrale und dem Hauptplatz. Frühstück reichhaltig. Schöne Dachterrasse mit Pool und Bar. Saubere moderne Zimmer, was auch für die übrige Einrichtung gilt.  sehr gutes Preis – Leistung – Verhältnis.

So so noisy! I was given a main floor room, which was right beside the courtyard area and I could hear everything. From night meetings to the early buffet breakfast, as well a moving furniture upstairs, it was terrible. The mattress felt like a blow up mattress and the bedding was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were tiny and hard. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep. I paid for 2 nights and checked out one night early, with no refund or even concern from the employee or manager, and found another place.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Very walkable to Malecón and lots of restaurants. No noise issues. Pool area nicely done on rooftop. Great beer prices at the bar. Breakfast offerings carried and were good. Wish towels were softer and more concierger information, we inquired about kayaking tours. After several calls... only two companies and seems they only offered overnight camping options on Isla Espiritu. Hope to do it next time.

Everything is wonderful! Elmer needs more customer and management skills!! He is very rude and talks about his employees in front of customers. Everything else is excellent!!
Homer is the nicest waiter in the restaurant!! Give him a raise!!! So nice and polite

Gorgeous hotel right across from the cathedral in La Paz. The rooftop pool and bar is a nice place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Staff is friendly and accommodating. There are some fantastic restaurants within a few blocks, especially 32 sabores. It is an easy walk to the malecon (waterfront).
The parking is underground; seems to be the best secure parking in the district. Your vehicle has to be under 2.15 meters high to get into the garage according to the sign so it's not for vehicles with big roof racks or pickup trucks with campers.
The only minor complaint is the mattress. It was not comfortable -- had deep indents on both sides and was a little too soft.

Catedral is a wonderful boutique hotel in the center of La Paz. Easy walk to the Malecon and all of the sites and sounds of La Paz. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The room itself was bright and well laid out. Looking forward to another longer stay.
