The service was impeccable and our time there was made really easy and special. We were able to book private taxis and check in early. It was our anniversary so they went the extra mile to ensure that it was a special day. The pool view is amazing, and the facilities are excellent. Breakfast was great, and there was an egg station for any kind of egg you want.

We were only in this hotel for a few hours as we didn’t arrive till late and we were out really early for an early morning flight. The room was large and comfortable, with a nice bed. The bathroom was small with an over bath shower and a sink arrangement that was part of the bedroom. As we were early departing they gave us "breakfast in a bag", which filled a hole. A comfortable hotel, but we did not do it justice.

I have stayed in many hotels in many different places around the world and it's rare to stay in a place for an extended period and it feels like home. This was definitely a home away from home type of experience. From the amazing art decor placed throughout the property you almost feel its an art exhibit and actually can forget that its a hotel to the amazing rooftop pool/bar with unbelievable views of the La Paz, this property is nothing short of amazing!! I had the pleasure of residing at this incredible hotel for 6 weeks and I must say that from the beginning to the end of my stay the staff went above and beyond with the few requests I did have from a rolling closet with extra hangers for my extra clothing to granting me access to another gym facility at their sister property to do my workouts. Each and every day everyone was warm, and friendly, and always greeted me with smile. Most definitely one of the best properties I've had the opportunity of staying in throughout all of my travels and I will definitely stay here again for my visit back to Bolivia!!! A VERY special thank you to such an EXCELLENT staff - from the receptionists(Ms. Claudia and Ms. Sdenka), the room cleaners(Ms. Nancy and Ms. Nelly), the bell boy(Mr. Stephan), the top floor bartenders(Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Ray), and the head of customer service/operations Ms Marcia :) My top choice and I highly recommend The Atix Hotel for anyone traveling to La Paz, Bolivia in the near future!!!

We stayed in Atix on our past trip to Bolivia back in 2017. And it keeps being an excellent place with a high level of service. Absolutely all our requests were fulfilled and fulfilled quickly. The only downside being single glass bathroom windows and no electric heaters in same bathrooms either. Being on 3.000+ meters of altitude night temperatures in La Paz drop down quite a bit. And those bathroom windows are not holding any warmth – on the contrary: sitting on the toilet (excuse the details) it is possible to feel breath of cold air coming-in freely even with windows being closed.

This is overall a great hotel in a quiet neighborhood of La Paz, Bolivia, known as zona azul. Blue zone a great place to enjoy our visit. The Atix offers a great gourmet restaurant with an experimental food wit wine pairing and a wonderful roof top for snacks and drinks by the pool. We enjoyed at in two evening of a quiet and excellent service. The really low quality item was the not friendly architecture design of the bathroom: only half of the shower is closed causing too much water on the slippery floor; and the support for soap and shampoo extremely too small,

Beautiful art in the lobby and around the property. Comfortable rooms. Good service (not 5 stars, but attentive and responsive). Unfortunate breakfast (included in room cost for me - I preferred to find more interesting local food in the area). In sum, good for foreigners looking for international 3-4 star standard. Not worth the 5-star cost.

About 45 mins drive away from the airport. Nicely designed hotel. Room slightly small. There is heater and air conditioner but are working very well. Attentive, helpful and serious staff. Very clean room. Provide refreshment every evening. Very few Bolivian hotel that speaks English and reply to English emails thought it took more than 1 day to reply. Can help to arrange airport transfer. Let us check in early. Free breakfast has very limited choices, only bread and cakes and eggs basically. Lots of restaurants and a food court nearby. A supermarket is about 3-5 mins walk away especially if you need drinking water. Uber is easy to get and fare is very reasonable. Will definitely return.
