Given the point of the stay---a quick overnight stopover before going back to Manila, this place suffices. Rooms are all furnished with bunkbeds. Toilet and bath has a working shower heater, ample shampoo and body shower, and a strong water supply. Aircon is strong. 2-min walk to El Union. One of the best Red doors in Philippine provinces. Staff is terribly helpful. For a cheap accommodation, go for this place.

Monaliza Surf Resort offers the best location having located by the beach, literally. I stayed in Room 3, accomodation for 6 with my family. The room has a balcony which leads to, yes, the beach and the party! Room is nothing too fancy but leaves enough room for all of us, with 2 bunk beds and a sofa/beds.

Our recent stay at Maritoni Bali Suites and Villas in Bauang, La Union, was nothing short of delightful. The pool was well-maintained and added to the serene vibe, making it a favorite spot during our stay. On top of that, the internet connection was surprisingly strong, which was a huge plus for us as we needed to stay connected for work. The staff were consistently courteous and attentive, always ready with a smile to assist guests. A special shout-out goes to Irene, one of the staff members, whose proactive and kind demeanor truly made our stay memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which left a lasting impression. Overall, Maritoni Bali Suites and Villas offers excellent value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in La Union.

No electricity and water on first night and this are the only hotel that doesn't have generator. Still, clean and good hotel. The only problem is the electricity and water for the first night we stayed there.

Saw a few stains in bed but nothing too concerning, some studs on the wall mounting the foldable chairs and tables are a few pulls away from falling off. Fair for the price but lacks space. And water pressure isnt the best. Pleasant staff and service with the breakfast options tasting great. Overall an ok experience.

The access road is narrow one way so maybe go around the back of palengke. Check-in was friendly and fast. The atmosphere is romantic and quaint. A cute resort style. With 3 very mall swimming pools. The beach is quiet, clean, nice and private but with a steep slope down and warning signs mark the entry way that it could be dangerous to swim. And I can see why. Not really for kids unless you born at the beach and know it's quirks. Breakfast was 4-5 pre set choices but very OK for me. For me just some fruit pcs and bread, honey with butter will do the trick. With a juice and coffee. We went to Kahuna beach for some sea swimming and surfing lessons. Which is like 10 minutes by car or 50P per person in tric which strikes me as steep. The beach is much more shallow for safer swimming. But also quite busy acting as the public beach. But if you like peace and quiet and enjoy the beach itself this place is really an option. Rooms were older quaint style but roomy. Shower was nice but please change the shower head in room 8. It is spraying everywhere. The bed mattress was good but I didn't like the bedding being only a cheap blanket. No sheets. Staff was excellent and friendly. Oh and the restaurant is also recommended. We ate 2 out of 3 nights just at the resort and very good for Filipino choices.

I was amazed on the place , i was very relaxing , home vibes … people and family was very accommodating ..

We like the place bec location is convenient, foods is okay, staffs are nice and helpful, the resort is clean and nice view..
