We were in Lafayette with the Cajun/zydeco dance group for Mardi Gras. The hotel was extremely clean, updated and nicely decorated, The staff were very polite, attentive, friendly, efficient, personable and engaging. The staff (Nelson, Tasha and Gabriella) at breakfast every morning were outstanding and made our trip even more fun! The breakfast was always fresh and tasty with a good variety of items to choose from. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and attentive happy to help with all of our requests. We loved having a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in our room. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good with hot water always available. I appreciated the dove soap amenities and the dispensers in the shower and the sink. Our only complaint was the lack of a toilet seat cover which we all felt wasn’t very sanitary. Overall a lovely experience in Lafayette at the Holiday Inn ! We would all choose this hotel again because the staff went above and beyond which we all know is hard to come by these days. Stayed here for a Reba McEntire concert at the Cajundome which was literally across the street! Dry convenient. Friendly staff! Clean rooms and good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. It too far from other eating areas etc. I would definitely stay again!

The AC didn’t work, but maintenance did try to come fix it at 10:00pm. The room still didn’t get cold. The bathroom was too small.

I will try to be as unbiased as possible. It was only 5 days ago that I was in a newly constructed Residence Inn in a major city. Overall, Residence Inn Lafayette Airport was a really good stay. Pros: This place is extremely clean. The cleaning staff goes out of their way to make sure this place is clean from top to bottom. It has that fresh, clean aroma all throughout the property. The entire room was spotless upon arrival. Additionally, the front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They are very quick to respond to messages sent via the chat function in the Bonvoy app. I regret not getting the name of the agent that checked us in, but she was extremely helpful in suggesting local cuisine. Feezo's is now my new favorite restaurant for chargrilled oysters. Cons: The rooms are really dated and shows plenty of wear and tear. More specifically, the mattress was in pretty bad shape. It had hills and valleys from head to toe and was NOT comfortable. I'm almost certain it's an original mattress from the opening of the property. Same goes for the couch. It was NOT comfortable at all. The pillows and cushions were in very bad shape. Mind you, these items were very clean, but old and worn out. The tv's are also dated. They are really small, probably Gen1 plasma, 24 inches. The channel lineup was impressive, however. I haven't seen that many channels in a hotel in a while. In conclusion, it was a good stay. I was more impressed with the cleanliness than the actual room. Breakfast was ok... food was good, but there was no cheese at all. I haven't decided if I will stay here again in the future as I am accustomed to a more updated hotel atmosphere.

This is our first visit to Home2 Suites and I would recommend highly. We had been traveling and due to rain and traffic were delayed. It was the same day as the Microsoft security event that shut day lots of electronic services for businesses. Your employees (3 total) all greeted us with smiles despite dealing with no room keys. We arrived just as they were able to produce keys and we felt SO welcomed. The next morning I visited the breakfast buffet which was quite impressive and so many options. Again I was greeted by a maintenance man as well as the front desk person. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone that ask.Keep up the great work!!!

This is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. To start, when I entered the hotel, the agent at the desk didn't even greet me. She stared at me as if I was supposed to speak to her first. She was more worried with the FaceTime call she was on than to take care of a guest. So I then get to my room to be horrified. I first booked a queen studio and received a 2 double bed. No biggie, but I would have liked to have been informed at check in that my room type was no longer available. I get to the room and thats where it got the worst. The room was disgusting. There were stains on the bed, old cigarets in the window seal (had to have been there for a while or they wouldn't be almost black), dirty grimy counter tops, dirty microwave, and much more. At this point I just wanted a new and hopefully CLEAN room. I called down to the desk to ask for a room move and in mid explanation I was hung up on. I then walked down to the desk and told her to just cancel my room. At this point I just wanted out! She then tells me she has to charge me and check me out (keep in mind I was in there for 5-10 mins tops). She then informs me that only the General Manager can apply the refund and to call at 11pm to speak with him. I called back as instructed and voiced my concerns and disgust with the General Manager Brandon, to only be dismissed. He is the most unprofessional manager I have ever encountered. I barley got an apology and the one I did get was short and dismissive. I now understand why the staff is the way they are because they are being lead by someone who is far from caring and professional. I will never stay at this property again and I would suggest the same for you. At least allow me to save you the headache. I hope these comments are used for training and accountability. This property is doing very poorly at upholding IHG standards and should be further investigated.
